The role will sit in the Chief Social Worker’s directorate alongside our admissions and support, curriculum and delivery teams. These teams achieve our mission through assessing participants eligibility and  suitability, ensuring they are registered with our university partner in a timely way and by designing and delivering world class social work  education and training. ​

The EDI Lead is responsible for developing and implementing strategies, programmes, and initiatives that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organisation. This role involves collaborating across teams and functions to ensure that EDI principles are integrated into all aspects of the work. They are responsible for fostering a culture of inclusion, holding people to account through knowledge and skills and create a brave space for challenging conversations.​

You will have a proven track record of driving impactful EDI initiatives across the charity, private, or public sectors, with the ability to influence and inspire others through your actions and behaviours. • To be the lead anti discrimination advocate (ADAs) and facilitate regular group meetings to check in with the other ADAs

This role requires someone with excellent administrative, organisational and financial management skills, and the ability to coordinate multiple workstreams with care and precision. 

You will work closely with the Clinical Director, Board, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality therapeutic services, manage projects, support fundraising and communications, and ensure our facilities meet the needs of both clinicians and the community. The Centre Manager must be able to work independently and take initiative, whilst also being a collaborative member of a small team. As the face of the organisation, you will be based on-site and have excellent interpersonal skills to be able to communicate with people from all walks of life. 

Key Responsibilities are as follows:

Strategic Leadership: Work with the Directors and Advisory Board to support long-term planning and strategic development. Creatively implement systems and structures to maximise service delivery, productivity, and income. 

Operations and Facilities Management: Oversee the booking and management of clinic and event rooms, maintain high standards of customer service for building users and visitors, liaise with contractors regarding building maintenance and manage the general upkeep of facilities to maintain a high standard of health and safety. Respond to issues in a timely manner and maintain relationships with building users. 

Financial Management: Lead the financial management of the organisation, monitoring project budgets, invoices, licences and debtors. Chair a monthly finance subcommittee meeting and maintain an overview of the entire organisation’s cash flow and projection. 

Governance: Act as the main point of contact for the board of directors and advisors. Prepare and attend monthly board meetings. 

Programme and Event Delivery: Coordinate internal and public events including lectures, film screenings, and workshops - providing logistical and operational support including ticketing, promotions and managing event staff/volunteers. 

Clinical Project Management: Lead operational delivery of funded projects including two subsidised psychotherapy schemes: tracking budgets, collating outcome measures, writing reports, managing timelines and liaising with clinicians and patients. This also includes managing referral pathways, responding to enquiries from patients, sharing referrals with clinicians, and line managing an administrator who supports these tasks. 

Outreach Programme Management: Coordinate our multiple outreach programmes such as two Therapeutic Playgroups, one of which is for refugees and asylum seekers. This involves acting as the main point of contact for programme staff, reporting on their activities and progress to the board, and maintaining the operational frameworks necessary to allow the programmes to thrive. 

HR: Manage all HR elements of the organisation including but not limited to: advertising and recruiting roles, drafting contracts, keeping an up to date log of internal policies, and handling any staff concerns with discretion and professionalism.

Development and Fundraising: Support grant research, writing, and application processes in collaboration with the Development Coordinator. You will be required to liaise with key funders and maintain records, reports, and track project outcomes.

Communications: Lead on internal and external communications, including newsletters, social media and website content.

CGL’s Business Development Team is a large national team. This role will sit within a smaller specialist services sub-team, who have responsibility for retaining existing specialist contracts and winning new business opportunities.

This new fixed-term role will be responsible for leading all business development activities related to the upcoming national Commissioned Rehabilitative Services (CRS) opportunity.

This is a brand new role, supporting the Head of Safe Ground with the strategic oversight and delivery of our programmes. Safe Ground has been at the forefront of designing and delivering innovative arts-based, therapeutically informed interventions within the criminal justice system and in communities across the UK. As we approach our 30th anniversary this year, we remain dedicated to challenging systematic injustice through the programmes we run and the partnerships we build. This role is a great opportunity to be part of our transformative goals, in being part of creating systematic change.

Using theatre arts, and culture, we design initiatives to support those impacted by the criminal justice system in gaining deeper insights into themselves, their relationships and their behaviours. We do this by equipping our participants with practical tools and building a community who are open to doing things differently. In this role, you will develop best practice around creative interventions, building powerful partnerships with commissioners, partners, and other key stakeholders, ensuring our programmes are being delivered to the highest standards. You will lead on the development of new and existing arts-based work, identifying gaps and opportunities for growth within the sector.

• Oversee the development of new creative ideas and programmes as well as programme adaptations and redesigns. Ideas could be linked to theatre productions in and out of custodial settings, short films, live events, symposiums, but may also include new art forms and working with new artists
• Development of a local / national facilitator network
• Create and deliver engaging high-quality programmes which support rehabilitation and reintegration for participants
• Design and deliver innovation arts-based high quality training and quality assurance support to management and delivery teams across the SIG network - focusing specifically on relationships, culture and communication, conflict resolution, storytelling, power-sharing and co-production

The Role

We are looking for a motivated and organised Project Manager to lead the AQS Access Pathway Project, funded by City Bridge Foundation. This newly created role will be responsible for redesigning and updating the Advice Quality Standard (AQS) and developing a new progression-based Access Pathway for advice services.

This is a fixed-term role, with funding secured for a minimum of 36 months. You will work closely with our Deputy Director and a wide range of stakeholders to successfully deliver a new version of AQS and its accompanying framework.

• Design, manage, and deliver the AQS Access Pathway Project in collaboration with the ASA Deputy Director.

• Convene and facilitate a Project Advisory Group comprising ASA members and key stakeholders.

THE ROLE

This role offers a unique and rewarding opportunity to lead National Energy Action’s efforts to improve the lives of those experiencing fuel poverty, with a focus on enhancing building fabric and energy systems. The successful candidate will play a key role in advancing the organisation’s expertise and credibility in this area and will be a passionate advocate for energy efficiency as a vital solution to fuel poverty.

As our new Director of Homes, you will lead our engagement with governments, industry partners, consumer protection bodies, and research organisations to highlight the needs, opportunities, and challenges faced by fuel-poor households.

You will be a member of National Energy Action’s Senior Management Team, helping to shape the strategic direction of the charity. You will lead and support a dedicated team, managing innovative projects designed to deliver meaningful impact.

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, you will oversee the development and delivery of high-profile demonstration projects and ensure that insights and evidence from this work are widely shared. You will also lead our influencing efforts, working with key stakeholders and policymakers to drive lasting change.

As part of our Senior Leadership Team, you will collaborate closely with colleagues across the organisation to help guide National Energy Action into the future.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

You will be an effective leader who can bring people together — within and beyond the organisation — to develop and deliver impactful projects. Whether influencing national policy, designing innovative demonstration initiatives, or forging partnerships across industry and government, you will be driven by the desire to make a tangible difference to the lives of those most in need.

You will need to be an excellent communicator, able to represent National Energy Action with credibility and authority in high-level discussions and public forums.

Strategic, collaborative, and highly motivated, you will play a central role in shaping the charity’s future direction and ensuring we remain a trusted voice in the national conversation on energy and fuel poverty.
