As Marketing and Brand Manager, you will be a senior leader responsible for setting and delivering our strategic marketing and communications agenda. Key Responsibilities

Organisational Leadership

• Contribute to the strategic leadership of Schools North East as a senior manager, ensuring marketing work supports the organisation’s long-term mission and values.

Strategic Marketing Leadership

• Develop and deliver a forward-thinking marketing strategy that elevates Schools North East’s brand regionally and nationally, aligning with organisational goals and values.
• Act as the senior lead on all marketing and brand initiatives, embedding marketing thinking across the organisation.

Brand Development & Management

• Strengthen Schools North East as the authoritative voice of education in the region and a credible influencer on the national stage.
• Manage and refresh as necessary the brand identity to ensure consistency across all channels, content, campaigns, and events.

Content & Campaign Strategy

• Create and oversee a compelling multi-channel content strategy that delivers high-value engagement across all audiences – from school leaders and policymakers to media and potential funders.
• Lead integrated marketing campaigns that amplify the impact of events, policy work, and membership services.

Audience Engagement & Insight

• Develop segmented engagement strategies to better serve diverse stakeholder groups, ensuring messages land with clarity and purpose.
• Use audience insight, member feedback, and data analytics to shape messaging, improve outcomes, and report on ROI.

Media & Public Relations

• Act as brand guardian and media lead by proactively shaping public narratives, overseeing media inquiries, and managing external comms.
• Build/manage strategic relationships with regional and national media to drive influence and awareness.

Digital & Social Media Strategy

• Transform Schools North East’s digital presence, particularly on LinkedIn and other platforms, to increase visibility, engagement, and thought leadership.
• Introduce a more dynamic and audience-friendly approach to communications and e-newsletters, reducing information overload and improving open and engagement rates.

Revenue Generation & Innovation

• Identify new, and retain existing, income-generating opportunities through memberships, partnerships, sponsorships, or creative campaigns that align with SNE’s mission.
• Support diversification of income streams while maintaining the organisation’s charitable ethos.

Systems & Tools

• Oversee the development and optimisation of CRM, website, and digital tools to streamline marketing operations and track impact.
• Ensure data compliance and user experience best practices are upheld.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

• Lead and mentor direct reports setting clear KPIs and fostering a creative, ambitious, and collaborative team culture across the organisation.
• Work closely with Directors, Business, Events and Policy teams to ensure marketing activity supports and enhances core functions.

The Independent Living Medication Support Service (ILMSS) in Lambeth is a community-based floating support service designed for adults with primary mental health needs and often dual diagnoses.

The service aims to help individuals stay well, avoid hospitalisation, and live independently in the community. The service provides one-to-one support in customer's homes to build awareness, routines, and skills for medication management. Furthermore, it aims to support customers with housing, benefits, and social issues through short-term interventions.

As Service Manager for the Lambeth ILMS service, you will lead a dynamic team delivering floating support to 105 customers and medication support to 35 customers across the borough. Leadership and competence development in direct reports is a key responsibility of the role. Post-holders may also carry client group specialism responsibilities, linking in with other Managers and Head of Services to ensure focused integration of specialisms across the whole organisation.

The working pattern for this role is primarily Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, with occasional requirements for weekend and out-of-hours work to meet service needs.

The Events & Fundraising Manager will work at the heart of our public events programme, helping to organise fundraising walks and other events across London and the South East, and raising funds to support the provision of free legal advice. • Manage grant delivery, including assessment, due diligence, contracting, monitoring, and closure, across our funding rounds.

• Support delivery of non-traditional funding mechanisms such as challenge prizes, research calls, or commercial commissioning approaches, contributing to assessment and management. 

Your experience:

• Experienced in assessing, managing, monitoring and evaluating grant applications or similar roles related to charitable grant making. 
• Understanding of not-for-profit structures, including charities, social enterprises and other not-for-profit organisations. 
• Experience in writing a variety of styles including academic, reports, and impact.
• Demonstrable ability to prioritise when faced with a continuous flow of applications and variable work load.
• Experience of effectively engaging at all levels within applicant organisations leading discussions where necessary. 
• Good with numbers, and the ability to understand and interpret budgets and accounts.
• Able to engage with grant applicants and build an ongoing positive rapport. 
• Strong IT skills including experience working with the MS Office suite.

This role combines volunteer leadership with project management. The successful candidate will split their time between:
- Project management and delivery of the WeRPollards project (2 days/week), a grassroots local initiative running from September 2025 to September 2026
- Volunteer and operational management (1 day/week), supporting the charity as a whole
You will work closely with Moat Housing to deliver the WeR Pollards Community Changemaker project and also lead the development and implementation of a new volunteering strategy, support colleagues to adopt new volunteer processes,

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
WeRPollards project management
1. Group Development and Coordination
● Coordinate and facilitate monthly volunteer meetings at the Pollards Hill Wellbeing Studio.
● Attend the Wellbeing Studio on a weekly basis, attend schools and community pop-up events to increase awareness of and community engagement in the project
● Support volunteers with soft and technical skills development on their path to becoming Community Changemakers.
● Encourage retention and progression of existing volunteers whilst increasing group membership from 15 to 30.
● Liaise with Moat Foundation officer and project tutors to establish a pathway into volunteering and increasing membership of the WeRPollards group
● Work with colleagues at Sustainable Merton to align this grass roots work with their borough wide initiatives such as Merton Garden Streets, Mitcham Community Orchard, Repair Cafes, Preloved Studio and Merton’s Community Fridge.

2. Community Engagement
● In partnership with Pollards Hill Wellbeing Studio team, develop and implement a local engagement strategy to recruit and retain volunteers to become WeRPollards Community Changemakers.
● Design and deliver an induction and training programme for new volunteers.
● In collaboration with the PH Wellbeing Studio team conduct regular listening sessions to identify resident needs, interests and connect volunteers to, or help them develop, relevant community activities.
3. Project and Event Delivery
● Lead the volunteer group to plan and deliver community activities aligned with the 3R’s agenda, that are run out of the Wellbeing Studio, including:
○ Sewing Skills Workshops (Monthly, 10 sessions)
○ Community Gardening Sessions (Min. 5 sessions)
○ Repair Shed Sessions (Monthly, 9 sessions)
○ Street Planting Engagement & Delivery (Min. 3 events)

4. Capacity Building and Progression
● Deliver at least 6 training workshops including SMART goal setting and planning.
● Support residents to lead and take ownership of initiatives and to become Community Changemakers.
● Build a clear, accessible pathway for participation and leadership within the group and studio.

5. Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting
● Track Key Performance Indicators including:
○ Volunteer numbers, growth and retention (Target: 30 volunteers, 60% retention)
○ Number of volunteer hours contributed
○ Number of accredited or certified training courses completed
○ Number of volunteers progressing into leadership roles
○ Attendance and engagement in all community sessions
● Conduct volunteer satisfaction surveys and gather qualitative feedback.
● Report quarterly on progress to PHCC meetings, outcomes and impact to the Pollards Hill Community Committee.

Volunteer and operational management - Sustainable Merton

● Develop and implement a volunteering strategy covering recruitment, retention, induction, training, and development

The King's Trust is currently going through an exciting period of development. We have ambitions to grow our offer to young people by providing a blended approach of face-to-face and digital delivery and support. To help us on this journey we are looking for passionate and motivated individuals to lead our dynamic teams to work with young people either directly through 121 work or the delivery of programmes.

This role incorporates our partnership with the Department of Health where we are working to support 10,000 young people into the sector.  We need a fantastic leader to help us achieve our ambitions across East Midlands- with particular focus on Nottingham and Nottinghamshire, Derby City, Leicester City and Peterborough, and ensure the success of our Health and Social Care programmes and partnerships.

This role will involve leading a small team of delivery staff working to support young people in the East Midlands. We are passionate about flexible working but it’s worth being aware that this role will be based across Nottingham, Derby, and Leicester, and you will be required to travel across the patch to support your team and our delivery partners. 

As part of the Leadership Team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of our Health and Social Care programmes, in line with contractual requirements. You will lead the Health and Social Care team to develop and implement our delivery plan and ensure we meet targets, ensuring that every young person engaged progresses with an appropriate pathway of learning and development and one to one support. Your role is to manage a range of Central Services for the Eikon Charity and to be a familiar constant presence in the Eikon offices. Central Services includes IT, Data Compliance, Health and Safety, Facilities. Facilities includes the site at Fullbrook and the associated site maintenance of the cabins and the garden. In addition to this you will line manage the reception function on site. A portion of the role will be managing outsourced providers who are accountable to support the specialist nature of these services. These outsource providers include Health and Safety (Croner) IT (ramsac) Data Protection (Satswana). You will also support the service data management work, this involves monthly reporting and service data provision, in accordance with the reporting calendar.

Responsibilities 

IT Management

• Manage the operational IT delivery via Eikon’s IT partner (ramsac) 
• Manage the continuous improvement of the IT infrastructure
• Oversee and direct the work and tasks of the data officer (IT support)
• Attend quarterly management meetings with outsourced IT provider including technical IT consultant visits
• Oversee Help Desk approvals
• Review monthly total IT estate in partnership with ramsac and Data Officer
• IT hardware, software and comms:
• Manage the relationship with repair partner (one touch) and disposal partner (CPR)
• Manage the procurement processes for hardware, the installation and allocation of hardware (e.g. printers, AV equipment, laptop, mobile devices, wifi infrastructure etc.) with the support of the Data Officer
• Manage the communications licenses with our comms partner (DRC) 
• Oversee the MS license estate and allocation of MS software and our third party applications
• Contribute to planning and assist with the delivery of the IT roadmap

Data Protection and Management 

• Manage data compliance in accordance with relevant legislation and regulations (GDPR), with support from the fractional data protection provider, Satswana
• Manage the relationship with Satswana (outsourced Data Protection Officer)
• Ensure Data Protection Impact Assessments are in place across the organisation
• Recording and reporting of routine data breaches, escalating if significant breach has occurred

Data Reporting (Services)

• Support with the provision of data to help monitor and evaluate all services in line with ambitions 
• Collaborate with line manage on bespoke data requests
• Support the organisation in ensuring data integrity of reports 
• Manage the monthly reporting templates (Mindworks outputs, Data Protection Impact Assessments, Internal outputs and Internal outcomes)
• Manage the quarterly reporting templates (Mindworks outcomes, Innovations Grant, Youth Support Practitioners end of term reporting, Fundraising Strategic reports, data for exec report and data for bespoke reporting requests)
• Responsible for reviewing and recommending changes to the Data Protection Policy

Fire, Health and Safety

• Responsible for fire, health and safety management and standards across the whole organisation, supported by a specialist organisation (Croner)
• Responsible for managing the Health and Safety relationships with the outsourced provider (Croner) 
• Responsibilities include but aren’t limited to:
  •  Fire, Health and Safety Policy
  • Ensuring Fire Health and safety procedures in place for the Fullbrook site
  • Monitoring and where possible ensure the organisation is implementing the relevant policies, procedures and associated forms across the organisation for Fire, Health and Safety
  • Raising Fire, Health and Safety risks and working collaboratively with Leadership to put in place measures to mitigate against them

Facilities

• Manage the facilities at Fullbrook, including the provision of reception roles and responsibilities, office and garden maintenance and support to onsite teams, interior and exterior décor – including noticeboards 
• This includes line management of your team and dotted line supervision for garden club volunteers for garden maintenance; this includes managing the relationship with the gardening contractor
• Overseeing annual compliance checks. e.g Pat Testing; Smoke alarms; air conditioning units
• Managing the relationship with the outsourced cleaning contractor (Minster Cleaning Services)
• Responsible for reception cover. From time to time it may be necessary for you to support in filling gaps in reception cover. i.e. sickness/holidays/absence
• In collaboration with colleagues continuously improve the facilities space, always focusing on the service users and underpinned by a strong ethos of equality diversity and inclusion, wellbeing and safeguarding
• Responsible for coordinating scheduled and unscheduled site maintenance
• Review, with oversight from appointed Trustee, our organisational insurance; ensure it is fit for purpose, renewed in a timely manner and manage the relationship with our Brookers WRS

The Digital Inclusion Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting the Black Country’s vision - of creating a region where people of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds can be active, move more, and enjoy sport - through maximising the use of digital connectivity to realise health, wellbeing and community benefits.

This role aims to increase a range of opportunities for local people to be active & move more, through implementing the Physical Activity Digital Inclusion strategy to address user needs, develop digital literacy and confidence through training and support, and collaborate with other sectors to create inclusive digital services and opportunities.

1.As the Digital Inclusion Manager, you will develop and manage an implementation plan which reflects the desired outcomes of Active Black Country’s Physical Activity Digital Strategy.

2.    Work with the place partners across the 4 Black Country local authority areas and Active Black Country to develop a comprehensive understanding of the digital landscape across the Black Country.

3. Develop effective working relationships with a breadth of partners and organisations to support integration across digital platforms and systems to connect, maximise resources and influence across the Black Country.

4. Be the lead advocate for the Black Country Moving digital platform as a resource for stakeholders and community organisations to promote opportunities for people to be active and access high quality CPD & training.

5. Work closely with Active Black Country’s Active Communities Strategic Lead to oversee the work of the Community Engagement Officers and work closely with partners to build capacity across community organisations to become confident and capable in using digital tools that make it easier for residents to access physical activity opportunities.

6. Sustain an inclusive and accessible open data Black Country Moving Platform that promotes a diverse range of activities, services, training and CPD.

7. Ensure the Black Country Moving platform remains accessible, user friendly and responsive to community and partners needs.

8. Co-ordinate and chair project steering group meetings and produce reports for partners and appropriate governance requirements. Including ABC Strategic investment Committee.

9. Working with the support of the ABC Strategic Lead for Impact, ensure monitoring, evaluation and learning is captured and applied to help us fulfil organisational and place ambitions.

10. Work with the Active Black Country Strategic Communications Lead to share case studies and good news stories.

11.  Under the Director of Partnerships manage the digital inclusion budget, ensuring accurate financial management and reporting.

SHINE is a membership organisation offering free services and support to over 14,700 members living with spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus, normal pressure hydrocephalus (NPH), and associated conditions.

We currently have 750 members living with NPH and this is growing significantly each month. This role will provide a specific focus on the area of NPH, whilst also supporting wider Shine activities.

Deliver a high-quality service to and facilitate opportunities for, individuals living with NPH/dementia and their families/carers through Shine membership across England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
