We are seeking an experienced and dynamic (Senior) Research Officer. This exciting role involves undertaking research on gambling related financial harms and engaging with stakeholders in financial services firms to practically apply our research to their work. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent critical thinking, research and policy development skills, with the ability to digest complex information quickly and appraise firms work against regulatory requirements, best practice examples and policy recommendations.

The successful candidate will primarily work as part of the Gambling Harms Action Lab team where we’re bringing together seven representatives from financial services firms to explore ways to reduce gambling related financial harms. The (Senior) Research Officer will be an integral part of the team working to tackle gambling related financial harms through delivering timely and insightful research and consultancy support.

Key tasks in the role will include: 

• Developing and maintaining a strong understanding of key developments in gambling and financial services sectors, including regulatory guidance and best practice.

• Developing and strengthening relationships within financial services firms by delivering support to practically apply existing and new research to financial services work with customers with experience of mental health problems and or gambling harms. 

• Collaborating, brainstorming and analysing to identify potential policy solutions to address gambling related financial harms. 

• Collating insights from our Research Community of people with lived experience of mental health problems, and sharing these learnings through insight reports and briefings with financial services and other stakeholders.

• Supporting the Head of the Gambling Harms Action Lab with monitoring and measuring the impact of our work, engaging with key stakeholders, and suggesting innovative new ways to increase our impact. 

• Supporting other teams within the organisation to deliver our programme of research and consultancy work

Role Requirements

You will play a vital role in coordinating care and supporting the management of the House, serving as a key contact for families and the multidisciplinary team. Collaborating with the House Manager and Placement Managers, you will help ensure that care is effectively planned, resourced, and delivered safely at all times.

You will support the house manager to ensure that the care on house or houses enables the children to access their education and/or rehabilitation sessions, clinics, and leisure activities in their timetable.

You will work as part of a leadership team comprising of a house manager, deputy house manager / deputy clinical lead and a clinical lead (per house) responsible for one or two houses within a rotational model. You will individually (not as a team) rotate at a house level on a twelve-monthly basis.

With experience of working in a complex environment, across a large and diverse workforce, you will be exceptionally organised with a high-level of attention to detail. You will naturally possess excellent inter-personal skills, and an ability to consult and positively engage with key stakeholders across the organisation.

At the heart of Camden’s mission to end rough sleeping, the Gray's Inn Road project offers short-stay accommodation for 16 individuals experiencing some of the most challenging periods in their lives. Funded by the Department of Levelling Up, Housing and Communities and the Greater London Authority, and delivered in partnership with One Housing Group and Camden Council, this service plays a pivotal role in ensuring rough sleeping in Camden is not only rare but brief and not repeated. Residents typically stay between three to six months, during which time the focus is on creating pathways into safe, sustainable housing and renewed independence.

You’ll be part of a dynamic, forward-thinking team dedicated to delivering trauma-informed, psychologically informed support. You’ll work closely with clients facing overlapping challenges including homelessness, poor physical and mental health, substance use, trauma and histories with the criminal justice system. With your own caseload, you’ll conduct in-depth assessments, build tailored support plans and facilitate interventions that reflect the needs, strengths and aspirations of each person. Every day brings new opportunities to connect people with education, training or employment, to help them rebuild practical life skills, and to foster progress towards long-term goals.

As Security Operations Manager, you'll lead a security team protecting infrastructure that serves 1700+ colleagues and over 6000 volunteers nationwide. Working within our Technology directorate, you'll collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders across our organisation to manage security operations protecting everything from research data to financial systems processing millions in donations.

About the role:

Reporting to the Head of Operations and working collaboratively with other senior managers, the Senior Project Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of all operational projects in line with cost/time/quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• To support the implementation of the new project management approach for Drinkaware.

• Day to day project management from start to finish for key identified operational projects, supporting cross functional teams to deliver.

About you:

You will be an accomplished project manager, with a high degree of business acumen and substantial experience of setting up and delivering projects working with and through multiple stakeholders and partners. Essential Criteria / Key Skills:

A recognised project management qualification and/or significant experience of managing multiple projects within the charity or health sector.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Health and Wellbeing team in the role of Health and Wellbeing Manager, whose primary objectives will be to manage the Health and Wellbeing Team and oversee the delivery and development of Fulham FC Foundation’s Health and Wellbeing programmes: More Than A Game, Fulham Teammates and Walking Football.

Fulham FC Foundation (the Foundation) is the official registered charity of Premier League football club, Fulham FC.

In order to achieve this mission and vision, we engage with over 11,000 people every year across an exciting and inspiring range of projects and programmes, providing opportunities that positively impact the lives of local people.

Our Health and Wellbeing programme aims to engage people of all ages across South West London in activities that will improve their physical and mental health, reduce isolation and increase confidence. The post holder will need to be dedicated, supportive, agile and self-motivated. They will also require experience managing and developing community projects, overseeing a team of project leads, building strong stakeholder relationships as well as an understanding of working in the non-for-profit/charity sector. The Health and Wellbeing Manager will have the opportunity to lead innovative programme developments and make decisions on the future landscape of our Health and Wellbeing work. The role will also require a flexible approach to working during the evenings and weekends when required to support the Foundation and oversee Health and Wellbeing programme delivery. 

The Health and Wellbeing Manager must:

· Have a minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in community programme development (health sector desirable)

· Have experience of overseeing funded programmes

· Have experience of creating and managing project budgets

· Have experience of managing people

· Have experience of monitoring and evaluating community programmes

Ideally, the Health and Wellbeing Manager will:

· Have experience delivering community programmes with adults and young people

· Have experience building stakeholder relationships with organisations such as the NHS and Local Authorities

· Have knowledge of the NHS landscape and future plans, particularly across South West London

· Have experience building and developing new health and wellbeing initiatives from scratch

· Have an understanding of the non-for-profit and charity sector
