The Southeast and East Asian Centre (SEEAC) is a community-led CIC supporting East and Southeast Asian (ESEA) migrants and refugees in the UK. We work to build an equitable society where ESEA communities thrive.

We are seeking a Programme Manager to lead our programme team, deliver high-impact community services and advocacy projects, and strengthen partnerships across the sector. This role is central to coordinating multiple projects, managing staff, developing proposals, overseeing budgets, ensuring monitoring and evaluation, and representing SEEAC publicly with partners, media and stakeholders. The post works closely with the Executive Director and Partnership Development Manager, including on fundraising.

About you:
You bring 5+ years’ experience leading programme design, delivery, monitoring and reporting plus people management experience and strong communication, organisational and financial skills. You are confident engaging with diverse communities, funders and public audiences, and committed to safeguarding and data protection. Knowledge of issues affecting migrants and refugees (e.g., employment rights, discrimination, health inequality) and strong writing skills are essential. Experience with ESEA communities or other minoritised groups is highly desirable, as is lived experience of migration-related issues.

By providing the proper support, patients can be discharged sooner, and the risk of readmission is significantly reduced.

Key Responsibilities

• Audit the existing fundraising/development functions of the organisation, and identify any gaps or missed opportunities
• Working with the Project Board hold workshops with staff and volunteers to develop a ‘project bank’ of fundable ideas, which will include detail of the ideas, potential funding sources and timeline for completion
• Develop new cause messaging, and help to foster a culture of identifying key stories to share with our audiences
• Work with the project team to identify a single project to anchor a new fundraising campaign
• Develop a suite of digital and print content to support the fundraising campaign, and train existing team on the best way to deliver messaging around the campaign
• Report regularly to the project board on the progress of the work stream, and identify any project delivery risks

The Role

• To be the strategic lead for income, service, and performance management of Causeway’s Property portfolio. To support housing staff to achieve tangible social impact and/or recovery outcomes in line with Causeway’s mission and with funder’s contractual obligations.
• Provide inspiring leadership to the Housing Operations Team as a whole and develop opportunities for skills and knowledge development and understanding to enhance staff performance.
• To prepare and present accurate performance reports for the entire portfolio reporting on voids, rent management and tenant engagement outcomes to the CEO and local authority partners, identifying corrective action where needed.
• To ensure compliance of housing stock and tenancy matters within legal and statutory requirements.
• To ensure continuous learning and development across the Housing Operations Team by disseminating learning and sharing best practice.
• To develop and manage effective allocation processes for maximum occupancy and work closely with the other delivery colleagues across the organisation to ensure that housing is accessible and operates in line with any funding criteria.
• Champion client involvement and ensuring best practice in this area is embedded in policies and procedures.
• To be the primary point of contact for owning RP’s and private landlords, lead on landlord issues and disputes
• To represent the CEO at external events and meetings when necessary.
