• Fulfilling printing and laminating requests.
• Creating posters and templates for retail.
• Creating resources for events eg name tags, signage.

The Role

Working within our International Partnerships, Programmes and Research (IPPR) team, the Senior Programme Development Officer will secure income for Peace Direct through research, development and management of relationships with new and existing funders. The post holder will proactively identify new funders, write proposals and reports and steward relationships to secure and maintain the funding necessary for Peace Direct to achieve its organisational goals. This includes programmatic, research, advocacy and strategic funding, working with restricted and unrestricted grants from institutional and trust and foundation funders ranging from £1,000 to £1m+. In collaboration with others, the post holder will also accompany advise and support local partners to diversify their funding.

The role is for someone with an enthusiasm for working with funders, with a strong track record of successfully securing grants from trusts, foundations and/or institutional donors. You will have strong writing skills, exceptional attention to detail and be capable of working effectively and efficiently to tight deadlines. A strong affinity with peacebuilding and an interest in challenging the way the international cooperation and peacebuilding sectors works would be beneficial, as would language skills in French, Spanish and/or Arabic.

About you

You have significant HR management experience, with a CIPD level 7/equivalent qualification or expert by experience. Your experience includes project planning and implementation, employee relations, TUPE and demonstrable knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice. In addition, you are proficient in using HR metrics and data analytics to create insights to inform business decisions and measure HR effectiveness.

You have a proven ability to lead organisational change and drive HR process improvements and have some experience or knowledge of technological solutions. In addition, your strong team leadership experience supports your ability to coach, mentor and develop HR teams and managers.

Due to the nature of the role, a driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential for this role.

As a Christian charity, there is a genuine occupational requirement in Pecan’s Articles for the CEO to be a Christian. Part of your role will be to nurture key relationships with local churches, so you’d be comfortable in a church context and to pray with and talk to them about opportunities to support the work of Pecan. You will also be able to lead a workforce of diverse faiths.

What we can offer you:

• Work within the Team Around Me model, engaging closely with the City Outreach Teams and the Navigator service to develop and implement joint action plans for people rough sleeping.
• Connect City clients with essential health services to address tri-morbidity—the complex combination of physical ill health, mental health, and substance use that often affects individuals experiencing chronic homelessness.
• Facilitate referrals to training, employability, and volunteering programs to support long-term stability and independence.

Fundraising and Events Officer - Norfolk & Suffolk

Job Purpose:

We are looking for a highly organised and motivated individual, with excellent communication and project management skills, and experience of arranging, executing and evaluating successful fundraising events, to meet the fundraising targets, set by our Board and thereby support the vital services we deliver to people affected by domestic abuse across Norfolk and Suffolk.

Essential Requirements:

• Proven track record of arranging, executing and evaluating successful fundraising events.
• Innovative, imaginative, creative and professional attitude towards fundraising and events.
• Ability to develop effective partnerships and form productive working relationships at all levels.
