We’re looking for a Pets and Housing Development Lead, who will play a pivotal role in our projects, which strive to ensure owners and their pets stay together during difficult times.
What does this role do?
As Pets and Housing Development Lead, you’ll:
- manage the continuous development of our Pets and Housing services and projects, including leading on a critical new project moving our data to Salesforce,
- cultivate and maintain key external relationships, such as engaging veterinary practices signed up to our schemes or other organisations in the sector that we partner with,
- develop and create social media content to build the online presence our services have,
- work closely with the PR team to promote our services, from writing press releases to carrying out interviews, to ensure our work reaches the audiences where it can have the most impact.
Please note, this role is being offered as a fixed term, family leave cover contract until October 2026.
Could this be you?
To be successful in this role, you’ll need some experience of project management, as you’ll be working on some big projects that require significant planning and stakeholder management. Excellent communication skills are key, with the ability to build relationships and rapport with external and internal stakeholders at all levels. A strong understanding of social media, PR and online search engine optimisation would be very helpful. Above all, being passionate about the work we do for pets and their owners is essential.
What does this team do?
The outreach department supports people and dogs in crisis, such as those escaping domestic abuse or experiencing homelessness. These specialist services reduce the need for someone to unnecessarily relinquish or euthanise their dog due to the crisis they may be facing. They include Freedom, a specialist dog fostering service for people fleeing domestic abuse, and Pets and Housing projects that support people and their dogs experiencing homelessness and advocating for people to be accommodated with their pets at all stages of their housing journey.

About the role:
This role is responsible for the development and delivery of our multi-channel media campaign in collaboration with our media agency Zenith, the conception of our creative campaign and management of internal stakeholders to maximise promotional opportunities.
A typical week in this role might involve:
- Overseeing the delivery of project plan tasks across different stakeholders, to make sure everyone is meeting set KPIs and working to deadline
- Managing our relationship with the media agency, monitoring channel performance to make optimisations
- Working with creative agencies to brief and produce assets, using audience insights, that will inspire people to sign up for a Mighty Hike
- Managing expenditure budgets to ensure spend is tracking accurately against different media plans and suppliers
- Using data to report on performance and identify opportunities to drive growth and test new activations
- Leading on meetings with internal and external stakeholders to present the Mighty Hikes and inspire high levels of engagement and support
This role does require weekend work (although not at your desk) as you’ll be out and about cheering on our participants. A full UK driver’s license is preferred and a willingness to drive a van is a bonus. You will be compensated for your weekend work with days in lieu.

We are looking for an experienced marketing manager with a passion for project management, strong account management skills and a creative eye.

About the Role
As Head of Corporate Services, you’ll play a key role in supporting the Party’s day-to-day operations and long-term strategy. You’ll lead a talented team and be responsible for fostering a high-performing, values-driven workplace culture. Reporting to the Director of Finance and Corporate Services, you’ll manage a diverse team and collaborate with stakeholders to drive growth and electoral success.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee financial management, including budgets and monthly reporting
- Lead and implement HR strategies covering policy, recruitment, L&D, and employee relations.
- Drive strategies for office management and hybrid working arrangements.
- Foster a supportive, engaged, and high-performing team culture.
- Manage payroll, health and safety, and key organisational projects.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a confident and capable leader with:
- Strong financial expertise, including experience managing organisational budgets and financial reporting.
- Ability to provide HR leadership across a 60+ person organisation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and work collaboratively.
- A solution-focused, strategic mindset—able to balance long-term vision with day-to-day delivery.
- Alignment with the aims and values of the Liberal Democrats.
Desirable Qualifications
- ACCA, CIMA, or MCIPD qualification (or equivalent experience).
- Experience working with volunteers and understanding their needs.
- You will be accredited to CIPD level 7 or qualified by experience.
- Sympathy with the aims and values of the Liberal Democrats.

As a member of small friendly team in a well established and thriving family mediation service you will co-ordinate cases, maintain records, communicate directly with clients and mediators and provide administrative support. You will need to be able to work independently in a busy office environment, be able to multi-task and oversee cases.
Full-time or part-time hours.
Family mediation helps separating or divorcing couples to make their own arrangements for their children, property and finances as an alternative to the court process. Given the nature of the work, sensitivity and confidentiality are essential.
