About the role:

You will be working for Advance London service as an experienced Domestic Housing Manager, responsible for overseeing the delivery of the London service. You will lead and manage the LWHSP project and the co-located IDVAs,

Being responsible for line managing and performance managing Regional Managers and project staff within the post holder’s responsibility, including annual appraisals and supervision.

Supporting Regional Managers to recruit, train and develop a team of competent and highly skilled IDVAs to provide a consistently high-quality service to women. Supporting IDVAs to ensure that Advance’s values, policies and procedures are embedded into service delivery.

Overseeing the management of caseloads and casework to a high-quality standard and monitoring the performance of your team, offering continuous coaching and feedback to ensure that Advance meets the specific KPIs and outcome measures for the contract, taking immediate action to manage poor performance as necessary.

About You:

To be successful as the Domestic Housing Manager you will need the below experience and skills:

You will bring your management experience of providing services to women experiencing Domestic Violence and Abuse including VAWG. With a significant experience of managing, developing and leading teams across a geographically dispersed region and remotely, including harnessing the strengths and potential of staff at all levels, building a strong team culture and maintaining staff motivation, particularly through periods of change. You will have substantial delivery of collaborative working with external agencies, stakeholders, subcontracted partners and extensive management of frontline workers

Job Title: People and Culture Business Partner - Organisational Change 

Location: Based in our Central office in Islington, around a 10 minute walk from Highbury and Islington station. About the role

We're seeking an all rounded generalist to join our People and Culture team to support specifically in around areas of organisational change, mainly in relation to managing mobilisations, TUPE, staff consultations and growth. You will use your previous experience in these areas to manage the process of organisational change, working alongside the wider P&C team and managers across the organisation. We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Membership Administrator to serve as the first point of contact for our members and to provide dedicated support to the networks of the Association, namely our Links network and mentor network. Export the mailing list for printed copies of the magazine and journal each month and the ESAIC Associate Member request list to ESAIC twice a year.

Network Support

Act as the main liaison for Association networks (e.g., Links and mentors networks), providing administrative support, and sending out communication to them.

Work with network leads and membership management to ensure accurate sharing of updates, best practice, and resources across the network, via e-shots or other communication channels. Assist in organising network meetings and events.

Support strategies on how to grow networks, liaising with relevant team members and clinicians on these. Monitor activity across the network to help identify opportunities for collaboration, improvement, or celebration.

This pivotal role encompasses counsellor and supervisor recruitment and placement co-ordination, facilitating group supervisor meetings, overseeing the assessment process and client waiting list, contributing to ad hoc projects such as written bids for fundraising and acting as Safeguarding Lead. The Counselling Manager must have experience of managing and supervising counsellors in training and the ability to engage with people at all levels including the Admin and Clinical staff and Board of Trustees, a BA/MA in counselling/psychotherapy and Accreditation with BACP or UKCP. We would also require a minimum three years post-qualification with complex client work and experience as a clinical supervisor

The Person

Turn2us is a charity tackling financial insecurity across the UK. We offer practical support and information to help everyone thrive, and we’re working to change the systems and perceptions that cause financial insecurity.

The stigma associated with needing financial support and our social security system presents a major barrier to our organisational vision. Therefore, our new Stigma Programme brings together multiple strands of work – from policy change and partnerships to narrative change and storytelling – seeking to reduce internalised, societal and institutional stigma.

We are looking for a passionate and change-maker to be our new Social Change Manager, driving forward and coordinating this long-term and exciting programme. It will involve movement building and close collaboration with a range of external partners, including the many organisations in our sector who are trying to change the narrative around our social security system and our corporate partners such as Royal London.

We’re open-minded about your experience to date. Ideally you would have experience of narrative change and systemic thinking, but if you’re passionate about ending financial insecurity and have led successful collaborations, delivered social change or run brilliant campaigns then we would love to hear from you.
