We are seeking  a Specialist ISVA (Independent Sexual Violence Advisor) to join our Advocacy team at Respond. The role includes providing pro-active emotional, practical and advocacy support for adults with learning disabilities and autistic people with complex or multiple needs who have experienced any form of sexual violence and are engaging, (or considering engaging) with the criminal justice system. The ISVA will work across London to provide non-judgmental, trauma-informed emotional support, working in partnership with other London sexual violence support services. 

Our ideal candidate will have a friendly and relational approach to working with clients.  You will have the ability to build trusting relationships, work in an empowering and inclusive way and support clients to heal following sexual abuse and develop coping capacity. You will be a self-motivated individual who will engage with a wider range of people who have experience sexual violence, and other barriers to justice.

1. About Chance to Shine

We are Chance to Shine: a children’s charity dedicated to harnessing the power of cricket to transform the life prospects of young people in the UK.

It is our mission that all young people have the opportunity to play, learn and develop through cricket. We want them to learn a love of the game and to find a sense of belonging through the sport, developing their wider wellbeing and life skills to help fulfil their potential.

Established in 2005, we have a long-term track record of delivery in state schools and under-served communities, bringing best-in-class cricket programmes to young people aged 5 to 24 who might not otherwise have the opportunity to play. All our programmes are completely free for everyone involved, from schools and community groups to young people and their families.

2. Purpose of the Role

We are looking for a full time (37.5hrs per week) Executive and Office Assistant to support the Finance and Resources team at Chance to Shine. The Finance and Resources team provide day to day support to all departments in the charity and trading subsidiary, Chance to Shine Enterprises Ltd, around finance, office, governance, HR and general administration. The role is expected to be largely in person in our central London office.

3. Key Responsibilities

The Executive and Office Assistant’s responsibilities are in three areas:

Office Administration:

· Act as ‘front of house’ for visitors and guests and be first point of contact for telephone enquiries and ensure the office space is fully operational.

· Monitor the charity inbox and respond to general enquiries.

· Oversee and monitor the Office and Administration budget.

· Liaise with the office landlord, regarding the general office space, car-parking, meeting rooms and staff access. 

· Help manage offsite storage space.

· Administer IT support processes, first point of contact for IT support issues and managing IT supplier contracts; and administering staff IT requirements.

· Maintain up to date shared document area on sharepoint.

· Act as Health and Safety Officer responsible for all Health and Safety matters, and attend training as necessary.

Executive Support

· Support the CEO and Senior Management Team (SMT) on organising and following up internal meetings, Board meetings and company wide initiatives.

· Provide governance support to the CEO, Director of Finance and Resources and Trustees.

· Take the minutes/key actions of Board and Committee meetings.

· Support on the onboarding and induction of new Trustees.

· Maintain Trustees’ register of interest.

· Deliver ad hoc administrative support for the CEO and Finance & Resources Department.

· Ad hoc support at Chance to Shine events, such as fundraisers, media events and competitions.

HR Support

· Administrative support to the HR Manager for HR processes, including drafting letters, maintaining employee records and recruitment processes.

· Support the induction of new employees to CTS.

· Support the HR Manager with administering staff benefits, organisational training and annual appraisal process.

The Business Development team is a recently established and growing team at Frontline. Purpose of the Job

The role is a key part of the HFEH Mind team delivering mental health services across Hammersmith & Fulham, Ealing, and Hounslow.

The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for recruiting, supporting, and retaining volunteers across the charity. You will ensure that volunteers have a positive experience, receive appropriate training and guidance, and feel valued for the time and skills they give. You will also work closely with staff to match volunteers to roles.

We currently offer three types of volunteering roles at HFEH Mind:

• Client facing support– Working alongside staff supporting service users
• Events – Supporting outreach & fundraising efforts and promoting our work
• Central Support – Blogging, graphic design, administration, etc.

General/Key Responsibilities

• Interview, recruit, onboard, and induct new volunteers in line with organisational needs, maintaining around 50-60 volunteers across the charity.
• Work with staff to identify new volunteering opportunities and develop volunteer role descriptions.
• Work effectively to ensure volunteers feel a part of HFEH Mind and gain value from their time with us.
• Develop and maintain volunteer policies, role descriptions, and procedures.

The Role

Main Duties:

• Deliver fun and engaging Outrunners sessions at our partner schools to young people aged 11-13, alongside PE teachers. 

• Manage relationships with partner teachers and SLT at our partner schools.

• Work with the Youth Programme Manager and other Youth Practitioners to design and deliver holistic movement programmes with a focus on running, targeted at 8-18 year olds. 

• Ensure safeguarding procedures are upheld for all young people. 

• Undertake administration tasks such as ensuring evaluation forms are completed, uploading data to our CRM system and planning sessions.

• Complete any other business required by management and pitch in to help with other tasks at busy times during the year.

The Finance Assistant will support the Senior Finance Manager and Finance and Operations Director. They will be responsible for all aspects of sale, purchase and nominal ledger, credit control, payments and various reconciliations. General management account duties will also be required

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the shared inbox and respond to queries to internal and external contacts in a timely and courteous manner.
• Log purchase invoices into the finance system and request authorisation from budget holders, ensuring that documentation is complete and correct.
• Issue all sales invoices and maintain funders invoicing schedule.
• Request and reconcile supplier statements.
• Ensure finance policies are followed for the set-up of new customers and suppliers.
• Support internal team with expense reimbursements, including maintaining the expenses software and relevant reconciliations. Follow up on missing documentation or evidence of non-compliance.
• Prepare weekly payment runs and issue remittance advices.
• Issue statements to customers and regular credit control activities.
• Check ledgers for missing costs. Identify and resolve missing costs or discrepancies in ledgers.
• Complete reconciliations to ensure payments are allocated and accounted for correctly.
• Reconciliations between the Salesforce and accounting system Assist with month-end and other management accounts functions.
• Support the finance team with other ad-hoc tasks, such as posting journals, payroll and annual audit.

This is a highly rewarding role for a Team Leader to manage and coordinate the Outreach Service. The outreach service will target families from the DWP two-year list and New Birth lists as well as managing supervision of complex family caseloads in partnership with Children’s Centres/Family HUBS, midwifery, health teams and mental health services. The postholder will also support and manage other projects as required by Westminster/ Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea.​

We are looking for someone who has project management experience including monitoring progress against objectives, managing budget as well as experience of managing staff and volunteers. Excellent I.T skills and the ability to plan, prioritise and deliver in tight timescales are essential.​

As Programme Administrator, you will provide high-level administrative support to both faculty and students, ensuring the smooth operation of courses and programmes within the department. Key areas of responsibility include:

This role sits in the STAR Partnership which stands for Supporting Tenancies, Accommodation and Reconnections. We work in collaboration with Thames Reach, Stonewall Housing and Praxis, to support 4000 Londoners a year who are at risk of or experiencing homelessness, as well as working to improve Londoners’ ability to sustain a safe and secure home.

You will deliver high quality housing advice and advocacy in line with the hub’s local community priorities and the STAR Partnership framework and work with people who are experiencing homelessness and bad housing to identify issues facing local communities.  You will plan and deliver casework to individuals and communities to resolve their housing situation and engage with community groups, local organisations and individuals to understand local housing issues and raise awareness of people’s rights.

You will also work in local community settings and with community groups to deliver advice and rights awareness workshops and make sure that people with lived experience of homelessness have opportunities to share their story, give their opinions and participate in the design and delivery of Shelter services. Offering day to day support to volunteers, providing learning, shadowing and mentoring and being a consistent role model for our values are also key aspects of the role.

About you

You are able to listen to, engage and work with individuals and communities and with all stakeholders, including people with lived experience of homelessness. You will have experience, knowledge of and/or proven ability in housing and homelessness advice and advocacy and are able to progress to specialist level knowledge, as well as the ability to carry out casework related interviews, maintain detailed case records, advise and support clients to make informed decisions. A proven record of delivering group workshops and presentations is essential, as is a collaborative, flexible and professional approach to your work.

London Hub’s priorities are improving the practice of local authorities and Registered Social Landlords and focussing on households disproportionately affected by the housing emergency.

There are currently around 60 individuals working in the Hub, including the Strategic Lead, Lead Solicitor, Service Managers, Team Leaders, Solicitors, Legal Advisors, Housing Rights Workers and Support Workers, Family Support Workers, DIY Skills Advisors, Administrators and Receptionist. We also have a range of volunteers.
