The Alderley Edge and Knutsford Circuit comprises five churches in Alderley Edge, Knutsford, Mobberley, Plumley and Mottram St Andrew

A key member of the Circuit Leadership Team (CLT), the prime responsibilities are to manage the Church properties within the circuit; provide financial support and reporting services appropriate to each Church and to manage and develop circuit communications. Additionally, the role will provide administrative and compliance support to the Circuit ministry team and Circuit Leadership team.

Purpose of the job

This role is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and driven individual to join the UK Youth Network Delivery Department. The Summer Jobs Programme is the largest programme in UK Youth’s portfolio. Funded until the end of 2026, the programme is currently operating in its second year. Reporting to the Head of Programmes, you will be responsible for programme managing our Summer Jobs programme. As Programme Manager, you will deliver the programme to a high standard and that the benefits to young people are realised. This will include ensuring that colleagues and stakeholders are clear on their roles and delivering on them effectively, that programme deliverables are met, risks managed effectively, and delivery is within budget.

The Summer Jobs Programme is a paid employment initiative running from July to September 2025 and 2026, supporting vulnerable young people in England and Wales. It aims to reduce youth violence and improve future engagement in education, training, and work by removing barriers to employment and offering structured, empowering opportunities. This programme is delivered with a network of local youth work Delivery Partners and employers. Young people begin with a one-week pre-employment training course, followed by a five-week job placement. Throughout, they’re supported by both a local youth worker and an employer-based supervisor to ensure they receive consistent guidance. 

Funded by the Youth Endowment Fund and Youth Futures Foundation, the programme launched in 2024 with over 400 participants and has expanded in 2025. A built-in Randomised Control Trial (RCT) will assess its impact on youth violence and long-term outcomes. In 2026, the programme will grow further, including working with over 2000 young people, completing a three-year period of delivery and investment aimed at driving long-term, evidence-based change.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of the Summer Jobs programme, ensuring successful implementation across multiple regions.

• Manage the selection, contracting, and contract management of delivery partners and work with Project Officers to ensure effective fulfilment of contractual obligations.

• Coordinate timelines, budgets, and reporting requirements in line with funder expectations.

• Collaborate with IFF Research to support robust programme evaluation, including participant tracking and RCT protocols.

• Mobilise our team of Project Officers to ensure effective Delivery Partner engagement with programme requirements and task manage other delivery roles to ensure effective programme management.

• Ensure compliance with UK Youth safeguarding policies and manage risk proactively across programme activities.

• Work with the Summer Jobs Employer Engagement Manager and the CRM Manager to refine and complete the development of the programme’s CRM system.

South East London Mind’s award-winning Mindful Mums programme aims to build resilience and prevent pregnant and new mums from developing mental health problems during the perinatal period (pregnancy up to 1 year). The service has supported over 4,000 parents within the last eight years.

We are looking for a Senior Project Coordinator (Maternity Cover) to act as our Single Point of Access for professionals, service users and volunteers. The role is responsible for managing all referrals, providing holistic and person-centred support to vulnerable women experiencing mental health challenges. The role will provide high quality and supportive line management of staff, and will oversee the recruitment life cycle of volunteers to the Mindful Mums project, including interviews, onboarding, training and supervision.

You will be highly organised with experience of staff and data management in a target-driven environment. Working independently but collaboratively, you will take a solution-focused approach to improve processes and will be able to utilise databases to produce and analyse reports. You will also be a confident facilitator, as some group and training delivery will be expected.

This role would ideally suit a parent who has successfully managed their own perinatal mental health problems and those with good understanding of promoting positive perinatal mental wellbeing.

The role

We are looking for an experienced part-time NEBOSH or IOSH qualified Health and Safety Manager, who will lead manage and develop our health and safety requirements and responsibilities around working outside and around water.

We have a health and safety management plan which following on from our Health and Safety audit, has outlined the framework for this role and what is needed to be implemented over the next 12 months.

Main duties and responsibilities

• Work with both Head of HR and Operations Manager on certain aspects of office Health & Safety with as and where necessary
• Project manage and deliver all requirements of the new created H&S Management Plan
• Work with managers on Construction Design Management (CDM) health and safety
• Track and ensure that risk assessments are being completed within teams for events and elsewhere where required in Thames21
• Work with HR and line managers to ensure that Standard Operating Procedures (SOPS) are created, updated and reviewed periodically
• Deliver the H&S induction session with new joiners when and where applicable
• Work with the Operations Manager to ensure vehicle checks are conducted in accordance with the vehicles policy, and that all drivers are trained in the use of the inspection checklists and all aspects of vehicle inspection.
• Compile a quarterly incident report to the Head of HR
• Manage the incident reporting system, escalating serious incidents (including risks) to senior management

• Manage a programme of safety audits to reporting these to the management team
• Manage and run the quarterly H&S group meetings and keep track of progress of actions that have been assigned
• Conduct training sessions on other related health and safety as and when required
• Other duties commensurate with the role

Operations and Service Delivery Lead

An exciting opportunity is available for a dynamic individual with a passion for providing excellent customer service and event management. The Education Directorate with our client is looking for an operations and service-delivery lead with the ability to lead a team and manage multiple complex workstreams, to join them in the Business development and education support team.

The Education directorate delivers a wide range of educational programmes for doctors of all grades. The portfolio includes one- and two-day workshops, their accredited programmes, commissioned programmes, online courses, podcasts, and Masters programmes in partnership with university partners.

They have wide portfolio including topics such as teaching, learning, assessment, feedback, supervision and communication skills. The directorate has a team of educationalists who design and deliver these programmes and a team of education coordinators and librarians who provide management and all aspects of learner support.

About the role

You will work closely with internal colleagues such as educationalists, project managers and administrators, as well as colleagues in finance, IT, HR, and communications. You will lead and manage a team, and you’ll be required to work collaboratively with a broader team of volunteer clinical faculty who help us develop and deliver our programmes.

You’ll work closely with the Head of relationships and engagement and the Projects and credentials lead, to ensure that the team support all areas of the business, including event management, projects, marketing and quality assurance.

You will make an impact every day by:

• Leading a busy and fast-paced team who deliver education coordination and library services for the directorate, role modelling positive attitude and collaborative working
• Taking responsibility for the team providing excellent customer service to learners, faculty and commissioners
• Taking ownership of providing high-quality written documentation, including templates for learner correspondence, reports for Boards and marketing copy.
• Working collaboratively with others in the directorate, and the finance team to manage budgets and operational accounts

The Role

The Community Centre Manager will play a key role in the leadership and smooth running of The Edward Woods centre, managing change, growth and performance as agreed with the CEO. Working closely with the UPG Management team, employees, partners, contractors, volunteers and other local organisations, the Manager will work to ensure the

Community Centre is a vibrant, well-managed facility that operates within a sustainable framework for the benefit of residents and organisations. They will also promote the profile, role and impact of the Centre.

Duties and Responsibilities

Management of the Community Centre

• Manage the operations of the Community Centre, its staff and the development and delivery of activities and facilities in line with the business and strategic plan.

• Ensure compliance with employment law and that we follow good practice regarding HR.

• Contribute to the planning, development, implementation and delivery of the business and strategic plan and present regular progress updates to the UPG Management team.

• Oversee the maintenance of the building - including building maintenance and improvement

programmes.

• Manage and monitor all aspects of risk assessments, health and safety and security as required by regulation or good practice including, in conjunction, the review and updating of

policies and procedures.

Management of staff and Volunteers

• Create a positive working environment in which equality and diversity are well managed, dignity at work is upheld and staff and volunteers can achieve their best.

• Ensure effective management of HR including recruitment, supervision and development of

employees, contractors, and volunteers, including carrying out DBS checks as

necessary.

• Oversee the Community Centre’s complaints procedure, and the proper handling, investigation and resolution of any complaints against the Centre, its staff and volunteers.

Working with Others

• Continue developing and maintaining relationships with various local partners to ensure activities at the Community Centre fit with others provided in the area.

• Positively represent the Centre and the community at partner and other meetings/events to raise the profile of the Community Centre and to ensure the views and needs of the community are prioritised and included.

• Prepare reports for funders, PRM and annual general meetings.

PR/Marketing and Fundraising

• Oversee the development and implementation of an income generation & marketing strategy.

• Develop strategies to promote the use and profile of the Community Centre, maximising use of social media, publicity opportunities and liaison with the local media.

Financial management

• Liaise with the CEO and Finance officer in setting and managing budgets and maintain an overview of the financial position of the Community Centre.

• Code invoices to ensure that income and expenditure is allocated to correct projects.

• Ensure best practice in all financial matters.

Project Management

• Support and oversee the continued delivery of high-quality services and activities.

• Devise and implement robust impact monitoring and evaluation strategies for all projects.

• Ensure all projects are correctly risk assessed and supported.

Edward Woods Community Centre has a small team of employees, tenants, volunteers and a

wide range of activities. it is expected that the post holder will be flexible in assisting in areas of work which go beyond their main duties. In particular, the holder of this post will be expected to assist with covering frontline reception and administrative duties and attendance at and/or supervision of events outside of normal working hours.

SANE, a leading UK mental health charity, is seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial Senior Individual Giving Manager to join our Fundraising team. In this pivotal role, you will lead the development and delivery of innovative fundraising campaigns across multiple channels - including direct mail, digital, email and social media to grow our individual donor base, improve supporter retention, and increase legacy giving. Working closely with our digital, communications, and senior management team, you will manage regular giving programmes, design targeted legacy campaigns, and create compelling content to drive donations and deepen donor engagement. We are looking for a creative and strategic fundraiser or marketeer with a strong background in individual giving, ideally within the charity or not-for-profit sector. You should have experience running successful multi-channel campaigns, excellent copywriting and communication skills, and strong knowledge of CRMs such as Salesforce or Raiser's Edge. Familiarity with legacy fundraising and UK fundraising regulations is desirable. Above all, you will bring a genuine passion for mental health and a belief in the power of fundraising to create lasting change.

SANE is a UK-wide mental health charity working to improve the quality of life of anyone affected by mental illness. About the role:

We are seeking a dedicated Wellbeing and Training Officer to support the wellbeing and development of our SANEline volunteers. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our volunteers feel valued and supported to provide a high standard of emotional support to our callers.

Working closely with the Training and Volunteer Manager, you will help ensure that all volunteers receive timely, appropriate and emphatic support. You will also play role in delivering welfare support, planning and delivering training sessions and promoting volunteer engagement and retention.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to provide valuable, hands-on experience in delivering wellbeing support and training for volunteers who provide emotional support to vulnerable callers.

Salary: £27,000 -29,000 pro rata, depending on experience

About you:

- You must have proven experience of providing emotional support, counselling or therapy to adults.

- You must have proven experience of designing and delivering training in a professional setting.

- You are a warm and confident communicator with the ability to build trust and rapport with people from diverse backgrounds.

- You are a confident group facilitator, comfortable with delivering training to diverse groups and communicating complex topics with clarity.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager with a community-based charity on a permanent, full-time basis. As Finance Manager you will report into the Chief Finance Officer and line manager the Finance Assistant. This is a key role within the Finance team with a varied brief to deliver financial services across the organisation.

Please note, hybrid working is in place with this organisation with a minimum of 3 days per week needed in the office.

As Finance Manager, you will:

- Take ownership of and oversee the entire Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes – from processing invoices to payment run or credit control

- Prepare month-end and management accounts. Monitoring budget performance, identifying and investigating variances

- Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial plans

- Prepare and file VAT Returns

- Liaise with other teams/departments across the charity and provide financial support, assistance and training

The successful applicant will:

- Have significant demonstrable experience in finance within the charity sector, in a similar role

- Have exceptionally strong Excel skills with the ability to maintain and develop complex spreadsheets

- Be at least part qualified (ACCA, ACA, CIMA etc)

- Have significant bookkeeping and accounting experience, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, VAT returns, month-end/management accounts

- Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
