Research and Impact Data

This is a key role in the Freedom Fund’s Research & Evaluation team, playing a key role in measuring the real-world impact of anti-slavery initiatives across the globe. You’ll also contribute to research and evaluation projects that deepen understanding and improve the ways we work to prevent and address modern slavery.

In this role, you’ll manage the digital backbone of our data systems, ensuring that impact is measured consistently and meaningfully. You’ll provide colleagues and partners with the tools and training they need to monitor progress and address challenges. Through engaging dashboards and innovative visualisations, you’ll turn complex data into accessible insights for a wide range of audiences: from grassroots partners to the Freedom Fund’s senior leadership.

You’ll report to the Head of Research & Evaluation and work alongside Research & Evaluation team members based globally. The role will involve one to two international trips per year. This position offers excellent opportunities to advance your professional skills and the chance to influence how impact is measured and communicated across the anti-slavery movement.

What you'll be doing

The National Society for Education is seeking an inspiring and visionary leader to head its Growing Faith and Young Leaders workstream - a strategic post within our Senior Leadership Team (SLT). This dynamic role will shape and deliver key national initiatives including the Growing Faith Foundation, FLOURISH Network of Worshipping Communities, and a suite of leadership programmes such as the Archbishops' Young Leaders Award, Flourishing Young Leaders, and Young Voices at General Synod.

Summary of main responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership across our core Growing Faith workstream, managing senior team leads and national programme heads
• Strategically overseeing the implementation of leadership development programmes for adult and young leaders of mission and ministry with children and young people within the FLOURISH movement
• Develop long-term strategic partnerships with diocese, school trust, school/college and church leaders to enable the effective embedding of FLOURISH, Growing Faith Foundation, and Young Leaders programmes at all levels
• Champion safeguarding excellence and spiritual leadership through inclusive practices and worship
• Drive innovation in leadership development for children (4-18) and young adults (18-25)
• Embed a culture of faith-led partnership between church, school and household
• Oversee the national rollout of FLOURISH communities - aiming for 450 sites by 2030
• Shape research, resource planning and evaluation strategies across the team
• Collaborate with diocesan, NCI and national stakeholders on transformative church revitalisation

Your role will be to truly listen, identify what matters most to the individual, and help them take practical steps towards better health, independence and wellbeing.

Job Purpose 

This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their knowledge and skills in business development. Working alongside our Business Development Manager, you’ll get involved in new business generation, account management, increasing sponsorship opportunities and converting leads to sales. Main Responsibilties 

Business development support 

• Support with the delivery of a business development strategy for BSR that secures financially sustainable funding streams that support our drive to improve patient care 
• Carry out routine market research, pricing modelling and competitor analysis  
• Generate ideas for product development that improve our product portfolios to keep partners engaged in supporting our membership. 

Relationship building and customer service 

• Provide exceptional and consistent relationship management with sponsors, partners and collaborators  
• With the Business Development Manager, enable internal sharing of insight and intelligence about trends and movements with industry partners  
• Keep all trackers and sales pipelines up to date. 

Systems and compliance 

• Support our partners to maximise their impact  
• Be the key admin for business development systems and trackers, including being the team’s subject matter expert for the CRM 
• Be a secondary admin for related team systems, such as booking systems and conference apps 
• With the Business Development Manager, ensure our materials and products are compliant with the ABPI pharmaceutical industry code  
• Work closely with the finance team to ensure all billing and invoicing is issued and processed in a timely manner 
• Ensure our partners are aligning with our sustainability value and event requirements.

Centre 33 offers a free and confidential counselling service to young people aged 13-25, living in Cambridgeshire & Peterborough. We have a team of volunteer counsellors / therapists, from a range of modalities and backgrounds, some of whom are on clinical placement and others fully qualified. We also have a substantial team of Mental Health & Counselling Project Workers who are qualified to a minimum of Level 4 and support young people experiencing a range of difficulties, including more complex presentations that sit outside of the statutory offer. Case work includes ongoing counselling (in person, telephone and Zoom)- applying a short term model of 6 sessions (with option to extend to 12 in specific cases) alongside assessment and a ‘single session thinking’ approach.

Young people can access our counselling provision via our ‘Someone to Talk to Service’ which offers a ‘drop in’ triage to gain a holistic understanding of needs prior to joining a waiting list for intervention. Centre 33 also sits within the ‘YOUnited’ partnership- a single point of access for professional referrals where we work closely with CPFT, CCS and Ormiston Families to ensure needs are meet by the appropriate service.

In addition to the counselling service, we have other front line teams holding complex case work of young people experiencing mental health difficulties.

Clinical Supervisor Role Description

Centre 33’s Clinical Supervisors are self-employed consultants, remunerated on an hourly basis for their work with us.

Principle Duties

The supervisor’s primary responsibility is to provide supervisees with professional consultancy for their work. Supervisors are expected to:

Offer regular fortnightly supervision to counsellors - a total of approx. 20 hours per year per counsellor.

Oversee the professional integrity of the work the counsellor is doing. ·

Be a resource for the professional development of the counsellor and to identify training needs for individual counsellors or the group as a whole. ·

Take part in six month probationary review of new counsellors and annual appraisal of counsellors. ·

Engage in annual 121 meetings with Clinical Lead to review supervisory practice.

Keep professional boundaries about confidentiality appropriately within Centre 33 and outside it, and assist the counsellor to do so too.

Be familiar with and act within the policies, guidelines and ethos of Centre 33 and the BACP code of ethics & practice, and to support the counsellor to do the same.

Be available to counsellors in crisis work, if required.

Liaise regularly with the MH&C Senior/Team Leads/Clinical leads and inform them of any concerns (s)he may have about the supervisee's competence, engagement or professionalism.

Attend bi- monthly Supervisors’ meetings and feedback on processes and policies Centre 33 develops in relation the Mental Health and Counselling work · Ensure that all supervisory administration is undertaken as appropriate

Ensure their own supervision, professional development, accreditation or professional registration requirements are fulfilled with particular focus in remaining updated on themes effecting clients in the C33 age range.

Maintain excellent standards of communication and organisation around sessions. Ensure supervision sessions are scheduled in a clear and timely manner and cancellations, absences and annual leave are communicated appropriately to both supervisee and Clinical Lead.

Be open to offer supervision where deemed appropriate to non-clinical staff either on ad-hoc single session or ongoing basis.

Play a strategic and leading role in the development and delivery of support programmes across Big Issue Changing Live CIC.

Big Issue Changing Lives CIC is looking for a Director for Programmes and Partnerships to lead the development and delivery of national programmes of support across Big Issue Recruit and Street Sales, test new ways of working and develop key partnerships to improve outcomes for people experiencing poverty across the UK.

You will also identify fundraising priorities, build national strategic partnerships, deliver a volunteer programme to improve engagement across local communities and lead on safeguarding across the CIC.
