The Director of Resources will ensure that the organisation has appropriate resources in place to deliver services to the charity’s various teams and will monitor/control that delivery. This role will help develop new opportunities, shared standards, services and best practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness, including the use of technology. It also focuses on strategic planning, resource management and risk oversight to support the smooth and effective operation of the organisation. The Director of Resources will be a member of the senior management team and will play a vital senior role in contributing to the overall leadership of FEC.

In this exciting new position, you will work with the Head of HR Operations to deliver an ER strategy that ensures an effective ER service and leads to a mid-term improvement in key ER metrics such as reduced time to case resolution, reduction in formal ER cases and increase in informal resolution. What will I be doing?
Team Management
* Coach and develop the ER team so that they are adopting the latest ER practices and processes and have the skills required to deliver a good service.
* Set focus areas and measures of success for the team and review performance against these so that standards of service are met at all times.
* Carry out regular quality assurance (QA) of ER cases and case outcomes to identify opportunities to improve team capability, ways of working, line manager capability and decision making.
Service Delivery
* Set and deliver a clear direction for the management of employee relations cases at CRUK and work with the wider HR team to build the processes, documents and support tools to deliver this.
* Act as an escalation point for all cases involving senior leaders including performance management, conflict resolution and disciplinary cases ensuring policies and procedures are adhered to at all times.
* Work with the Head of HR Operations on complex, high risk cases or disputes to deliver a pragmatic outcome that reduces risk to the charity.
* Oversee all negotiated settlements and conciliation cases taking a lead role in most cases including line manager briefing, consistency of approach, associated paperwork and data collation.
* Provide support on change management programmes including restructures and TUPE transfers, ensuring change processes run smoothly and risks are identified and mitigated.
Data and Trend Analysis:
* Ensure all cases are tracked and progressed in a timely manner to ensure accurate reporting and set clear performance measures for the team and individuals.
* Gather, analyse and interpret data and metrics to identify opportunities to drive down case numbers and increase early resolution to mitigate business risks and improve employee relations practise.
* Provide regular ER briefings to the relevant members of HR leadership making sure they have visibility of high profile, high risk or senior cases as needed and escalate decisions as per the agreed process.
What skills will I need?
* An in-depth knowledge and understanding of employment law and experience in handling complex ER cases, Employment Tribunals, ACAS Conciliations and Settlements.
* Proven track record of successfully leading, coaching and motivating a team to high performance.
* Strong communication and stakeholder relationship skills with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
* Strong problem solving and decision making ability, with a proactive and solutions-orientated mindset and approach.
* High level of integrity, discretion and confidentiality when dealing with sensitive employee relations matters.
* Experience of setting up and analysing key ER metrics to drive continuous improvements and inform decisions.
* Ability to balance commercial outcomes with mitigation of business risk.

Research:
· To direct the work of the shared Partnerships Assistant in researching, identifying, and maximising the potential of new corporate prospects using information held within the supporter databases as well as external sources such as LinkedIn, and business press.
Relationship building:
· Ensure all corporate relationships receive exceptional stewardship and that appropriate cultivation plans are developed, maintained and implemented – in particular, quality and timely reporting of impact achieved against funding provided.
· Build relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within current and potential corporate partners to embed the organisation as a charity with a strong reputation for meeting the needs of corporate supporters.
· Plan and organise opportunities for funders to view the impact of their funding first-hand, ensuring all safeguarding procedures are followed and met.
· Support the Chair, CEO and Director of Development to develop senior relationships with funders where appropriate, including support with arrangement of cultivation events, project visits and meetings through excellent research and timely briefing.
Collaboration with colleagues across the organisation:
· Facilitate and encourage new leads by building warm links with colleagues and coordinate relationship management between teams to ensure most appropriate relationship for the donor.

We are inviting applications for an Events Manager to join Garden Court Chambers. This is a full time permanent role.
Purpose of the role
Garden Court Chambers hosts a range of events including roundtables, webinars, hybrid, and in-person panel discussions. We bring together legal professionals, policy specialists, NGOs, community groups, and activists for legal training, thought-leadership and networking.
At least three times a week, we host 40-50 people for in-person events, 15-20 for roundtables, and several hundred for webinars. We also host parties throughout the year for around 150+ guests.
In this role, you will plan deliver and host each event; support the Head of Communications and Marketing with event programming; and work with barrister colleagues who convene each event to agree all event specifications.
Working as part of the friendly and professional Communications and Marketing team, the events you produce will amplify the vital work our barristers undertake to fight injustice, defend human rights, and uphold the rule of law.
About you

Core duties
- Event planning and delivery: book rooms and catering; liaise with speakers and diarise; coordinate webinar access for guests and speakers; collate and format PowerPoints; manage event recording and webinar platform (Zoom); process bookings and manage invitations; and coordinate with facilities, security, and reception.
- Event hosting duties (supported by Events Assistant): greet guests and welcome speakers; manage cloak rooms, event signage, and catering; set up and clear rooms; and trouble shoot and support the needs of guests and speakers.
- Support the Head of Communications and Marketing with event programming.
- Work pro-actively with members of Chambers (barristers) to ensure that requirements for their events are clearly recorded, and that events are delivered to specification.
- Support the Communications and Marketing Manager with digital communications to promote events.
- Support the Head of Communications and Marketing with event budgeting.
- Create and manage invitation lists using CRM software and support the production and delivery of well-targeted and high-quality email marketing.
- Assist with other administrative tasks for the marketing team.

Skills and experience
- Proven experience in planning, delivering, and hosting in person, hybrid, and online events (ideally all three).
- Good working knowledge of Zoom (or similar), PowerPoint, Excel (all essential), and Campaign Monitor / MailChimp (desirable).
- Experience of working with CRM systems and email marketing tools (desirable)

As part of our new 2025-2028 strategy we are partnering with ClearScore, the leading financial marketplace platform, to launch a new year-long study to prove the positive impact of financial education on financial wellbeing. ClearScore users in the study will be delivered three different types of financial education, across videos, workshops and other content, and then monitored against a control group for any improvements to their financial capability, their credit score, wider creditworthiness and ultimately their financial resilience, wellbeing and potentially access to credit. The effectiveness of the interventions will be robustly and independently assessed by an external evaluation partner, currently being recruited.
This study (and the resulting research outputs) has the potential to be transformative in the sector, and is kindly funded by the AVIVA Foundation, the charitable organisation which aims to help people deal with financial challenges. This project forms part of a growing suite of projects at The Money Charity aiming to improve the UK’s financial education ecosystem, by reaching more adults with new, innovative forms of financial education interventions at key ‘teachable moments’ throughout their lives.
About The Role
We are looking for a project manager to take the day-to-day lead of The Money Charity x ClearScore Financial Education project. As well as management of the overall project, the role involves delivering on some specific intervention workstreams allocated to The Money Charity, and managing the relationship with the external evaluation partner conducting the study. Additionally, the post holder will be responsible for a small portfolio of other related projects focussed on building adult Financial Wellbeing.
This role would be ideal for a hands-on and engaging individual with a strong track record in delivering high-profile educational or customer-facing projects. The individual will need an ability to navigate the retail financial services landscape in the UK, as well as a good understanding of the not-for-profit sector. We are looking for an experienced and motivated Community Project Lead to join our team and lead the development of our advice services for under-served communities. This two-year, fixed-term role is a key part of our strategy to reach groups who may not traditionally engage with IPSEA’s support - including children and families with English as an additional language, cared-for children (children in care), migrant children, detained children, and Gypsy, Roma and Traveller communities.
The project builds on a detailed scoping exercise we’ve recently completed, which involved working closely with a wide range of charities and organisations that support these communities. The resulting report outlines the barriers they face, and will form the foundation for this project and directly inform the work you will lead.

As a Bank Administrator you will be pivotal in providing a centralised administrative and customer service type support to a variety of departments and managers across the organisation. You will be proactive, adaptable and enthusiastic. Your duties will vary with each assignment but will include customer service; data entry; typing; filing; and MS office use. Assignments will be offered to meet the needs of the business, with details of the role and the required skills, hours of work, length of assignment, and reporting line, provided at the time.

Role requirements:
- Duties and Responsibilities can and will vary from each assignment and will include the following:
- Supporting the requirements of the individual teams for each assignment.
- Handling incoming enquiries and communicating with external stakeholders in a professional and welcoming manner.
- Minute taking for various meetings and audio typing on an ad-hoc basis.
- Provide efficient and flexible administrative support to teams.
- Arrange visits for external visitors, including notifying reception; arranging car parking; informing relevant staff members; “meet and greet;” and escorting visitors where required.
- Manage incoming phone calls and voicemail, taking messages and disseminate information
- appropriately.
- Scan and distribute relevant information where required.
- Format professional, high-quality documents, proof read prior to being sent off for approval.
- Input data and any other relevant information into organisational databases / systems.
- Carrying out general administrative duties such as typing, posting, filing letters and documents.
- Diary management.
- Arranging meetings, including booking of rooms and refreshments, organising agendas and attendees.
- Undertake other or additional duties that are within your skills and abilities, as the organisation may reasonably require from time to time

The Children’s Trust is the UK’s leading charity for children with acquired brain injury, providing expert rehabilitation, education, therapy, and care at our national specialist centre in Tadworth, and to children and their families across the UK, via our Brain Injury Community Service.

Online Searches
