The Manna Day Centre is a drop-in Centre for homeless and vulnerably housed single men and women. It is run by a team of project workers, under the Director, who are responsible for its smooth operation. Basic Services offered include food, showers, clothing, housing & welfare advice, medical care, and access to laptops. The Centre opens to service users 7 days a week, 8.30am– 1.30pm. The working week for this post is Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 4.00pm each day.
The Senior Housing & Welfare Advice Worker must have a commitment to homeless people, which includes acceptance and respect. Responsibilities are shared among the team according to needs, skills and aptitudes. The annual salary is negotiable (depending on your experience) ranging from £33,775 to £41,359. About the role
Mission Without Borders is seeking an experienced Salesforce Support Specialist to focus on three key areas; Salesforce Administration, training, and process documentation.
As a Salesforce expert and product champion, the post holder will work closely with our existing Salesforce Support Specialist to be the first point of contact for Salesforce support and training across all staff in all 18 countries. They will triage incoming tickets, provide support, fix problems, make configuration changes, and work closely with our Salesforce Developer and Product Owner to manage change requests.

Big Green Heart is looking for a trainer to help expand our practitioner base. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with teaching experience to use their professional skills in the charity sector in the vitally important area of mental health. Accredited practitioners may charge for their own practice, working with individuals or in partnership with schools, churches, and community projects. They will practice under license from Big Green Heart.
The role of the trainer is to teach and train practitioners in the methodology of Big Green Heart and to bring individuals through to accreditation. This will be done regionally and online.
It is hoped that the trainer will continue to oversee the developing work of the practitioners in a mentoring role, either individually or in groups, whether in person or online. This will be an evolving role developed in partnership with the Founder/CEO.

Adrenal crisis is a medical emergency and can be life-threatening if not diagnosed and treated in a short period of time. Addison's and adrenal insufficiency are not widely understood, even within the medical community.

As part of Midland Air Ambulance Charity’s (MAAC) corporate team, the Corporate Partnership Executive is responsible for taking a proactive approach to raising the profile of the charity and deepening relationships with businesses in the communities we serve.
You will provide support to the Senior Partnership Executive and the wider team helping to implement the corporate fundraising strategy via in person and online engagement methods, leading on activity within Staffordshire.
Your focus will be to ensure income growth from corporate sources and activity comprising of new business development, account management and affinity partnerships. As a longstanding charity, we have established networks in place, however alongside this the post holder will need to innovate and develop new ways of working in line with the ever-changing external environment (i.e., global/national trends, corporate best practise such as CSR and ESG) as well as in response to opportunities and challenges happening in the south of our region.

The position of CEO is an exciting and challenging role that is primarily external facing in order to promote and further develop the essential support we provide to families in need throughout Camden and Islington.
A key aspect is to continue growing our network of stakeholders, partners, corporate sponsors, commissioners and donors. The CEO will also be expected to lead the drive to secure new income streams, and maintain existing relationships with key funders and stakeholders.
The CEO works with the Board of Trustees to drive the future strategy, ensure fulfilment of the implementation plan and direct a staff team comprising a Head of Delivery, 3 Family Liaison Managers, An Operations Manager, a Community Projects Manager, a Bookkeeper, and a Fundraising Consultant.
There is considerable scope for the post-holder to make a real difference and significantly further raise our profile within the community that we serve, building on our track record of excellence and impact as one of the leading organisations affecting social change in the local area.
Core Responsibilities
· Support the team in identifying funders and income generation opportunities
· Build networks with new and existing funders to engage their support
· Represent and participate at external events and meetings to promote HSC&I
· Actively contribute to expanding the role and influence of Home-Start London consortium in the wider London area
· Be accountable for the management of resources to enable us to actively support a minimum of 90 to 120 families at any one time
· Provide leadership and oversight to colleagues and volunteers to ensure the correct outcomes for families through training, governance and quality assurance
· Performance and line management of Head of Delivery, Funding and Projects Manager and Bookkeeper
· Annual budget setting in conjunction with the Treasurer, and ongoing monitoring and reporting of financial position
· Provide management reports to the Trustee Board on progress against key performance measures
· Ensure that we remain compliant with all legislative and policy changes that impact the charity and our processes
· Understand the impact of legislative, changing political, economic and social climate on our work, and share this knowledge within the team to ensure compliance
Personal Specification / Attributes
The successful candidate will be an experienced Senior Manager/Chief Executive with a demonstrable track record of successfully running an organisation or team leadership. You will possess strong strategic management, governance and people skills in addition to being solution focussed. Excellent stakeholder management skills are essential as is the ability to generate income from a range of sources.
Essential knowledge and skills
· Three years experience as a Senior Manager / Chief Executive
· Ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload, working to tight deadlines
· Demonstrable success in raising significant income from a variety of external sources
· Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
· Accomplished at providing motivational and influential leadership
· Proven track record of successfully delivering change
· Good understanding of financial accounting and budgeting in the charity sector
· Strategic and innovative thinking
· Understanding, interpreting and presenting Management Information and data
· Previous experience of working with organisations in social services or health, with an understanding of the public sector commissioning process
· Good working knowledge of MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint)
Preferred experience but not essential
· Experience of working in the voluntary sector
· A background in health and wellbeing
· Safeguarding children and working with families
· Understanding and interest in perinatal mental health, isolation, early years’ development and recovery through crisis.
· Using Charitylog or other CRM platforms
· Presentations and public speaking
Affiliation
Home-Start Camden & Islington is affiliated to the national organisation Home-Start UK, but we are autonomous and responsible for own management and securing our own funding. Home-Start UK provides support and advice to over 300 Home-Start schemes around the UK, and manages a stringent Quality Assurance Review process to ensure schemes operate effectively.

· The CEO will benefit from supported career progression, including mentorship if appropriate.
· Home-Start Camden & Islington offers a staff pension contribution.
· The post holder would be expected to attend evening and weekend meetings whenever necessary, and agreed Time of in Lieu (TOIL) is available for this work.

The Marine Society & Sea Cadets (MSSC) is a vibrant and growing charity delivering life changing nautical adventure for young people through the Sea Cadets to give them the best possible head start in life. We also provide personal and professional development opportunities for seafarers with the Marine Society. Working with our staff, cadets, and volunteers, we have built a vision and five-year strategy to take us forward and further improve the astounding contribution already made through our work to the lives of thousands of young people and seafarers, while fully supporting our volunteers who are vital to our success.
We are currently looking for a Growth and Development Worker based in England to join our team. This is an externally funded post which will be focused on opening new provision and supporting existing provision in order to reduce waiting lists within specific funding areas. This is a very varied and rewarding role that requires someone who is self-motivated, organised, creative, tenacious, positive, IT competent and with a real interest in people. You need to be able to coach, empower and inspire our volunteers and cadets, both in person and remotely, to grow the Sea Cadets.
Responsibilities
- Delivering a variety of training sessions on, for example, recruitment of cadets and volunteers
- Developing new growth and recruitment tools and ideas
- Promoting flexible volunteering and the volunteer strategy
- Assisting with running our social media accounts
- Working with and empowering our volunteers to develop plans for growth
- Planning and setting up Juniors Sections in new and existing locations/units
- Delivering assemblies in schools
- Forming part of various working groups with colleagues to develop the tools, resources and processes needed to increase the positive impact of the Growth and Development team.
- Supporting the delivery of funded outreach projects
Requirements
- Previous experience of working with volunteers
- Experience delivering on multiple project plans simultaneously
- Ability to build and maintain excellent relationships with a variety of stakeholders remotely and face-to-face
- Experience delivering workshops and/or training
- Self-motivated and able to manage your time and workload effectively
- Flexible and enthusiastic
- Able to work as a team player with creative ideas and solutions who will empower our volunteers to make a difference to the lives of even more young people across the UK
