WCCM seeks to appoint an experienced, creative, and highly motivated Grant and Major Donor Fundraising Manager to lead fundraising and grant management across a global organisation dedicated to the teaching of Christian Meditation. Your role will require you to travel to locations such as clients’ homes, hospitals, care homes and within community settings across the area to meet with clients and professionals. About the role

Reporting into the Partnerships and Business Development Lead, the Corporate Partnerships Manager plays a key role within the Partnerships & Impact Funding team.

The Organisation

This is an opportunity to lead the formulation, procurement and delivery of major capital and revenue investment programmes, including disabled adaptations, refurbishments, and minor works across a significant housing portfolio.

The role:
You will take responsibility for developing and delivering investment programmes that ensure statutory and regulatory compliance, while driving long-term asset strategy. Working closely with senior leadership, contractors, and resident groups, you'll ensure programmes are cost-effective, customer-focused, and aligned with corporate objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the development of investment programme cycles in line with Decent Homes, the Social Housing Regulation Act, and net zero targets.

• Supporting the preparation of 1, 5 and 30-year investment plans to inform the wider strategic business plan.

• Procuring, mobilising, and managing contracts to deliver programmes efficiently and in compliance with procurement frameworks.

• Overseeing the delivery of disabled adaptations, refurbishment and regeneration works.

• Ensuring accurate financial monitoring, reporting and forecasting, while maximising grant funding opportunities.

• Leading a team of specialist staff, ensuring capability development and high performance.

• Driving customer engagement, including consultation with residents and community groups.

• Producing reports and presenting to senior stakeholders, auditors and external partners.

About you:

• Strong experience within asset investment, capital works, or maintenance services in housing or a related sector.

• Proven track record of formulating and delivering large-scale investment programmes.

• Experience of procuring, mobilising, and demobilising contracts.

• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage contractors, colleagues, and residents.

• Skilled in budget management, programme monitoring, and data analysis.

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field, ideally with professional membership (RICS, CIOB or equivalent).

• A confident leader, customer-focused, and able to balance strategic vision with day-to-day delivery.

About this exciting opportunity

As Grants and Bids Manager, you will manage statutory funding applications of five, six and seven figure multi-year income compliant with commissioner/funder requirements and oversee the project management of applications – managing timelines, activities, delegating tasks and ensuring stakeholders meet them, support decision-making through providing relevant and informed advice and producing high quality funding proposals and applications.

We will also rely on you to plan and chair proposal development meetings with key internal stakeholders, to identify and successfully bring in new funding opportunities that align with our strategic objectives, and to provide the highest level of donor care and manage involvement of new funders to ensure that the giving potential of each individual funding body is maximised. Updating the Fundraising Management Team with strategic developments in funding opportunities and supporting the Statutory Fundraising Team with other tasks, including their funding applications and proposals, are also vital elements of the role.

SLRA is a well-established local migrant support organisation working with and for refugees, asylum seekers and other migrants who are at risk or in crisis because of immigration issues. We provide specialist immigration advice as well as a broad range of practical, social and therapeutic support services. We also campaign for a fairer immigration system, involving local people with lived experience in influencing local and national policy and practice. 

Our Nest Project brings advice and improved awareness and knowledge to migrant families with young children, through community settings in Lambeth and Southwark. The project aims to reach families with the information and advice they need in order to resolve their status before they fall into crisis, and allow them to live safely and access opportunities.

The Nest Project Coordinator will lead on developing partnerships with and providing training to staff and volunteers in community settings as well as providing immigration advice and casework.
