Regional Partner Quality Manager x 2 (England and Wales)

As a Regional Partner Quality Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring our partners deliver high-quality services to those in need. You will manage relationships, monitor performance, and support continuous improvement initiatives to achieve operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Partner Relationship Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for partners in your region, fostering strong, positive relationships.
• Regularly engage with partners through email, phone, virtual meetings, and in-person visits.

Training and Capacity Building

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with internal teams, to ensure seamless delivery of quality initiatives.
• Represent Fuel Bank Foundation in regional forums, meetings, and events, advocating for our mission and goals.

Administrative Duties

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of partner communications, training logs, and compliance reports.

We are looking for someone who is a great communicator, is results focused and holds strong organisational skills. You must enjoy working with a team and be able to manage your own time. You will hold strong administration skills with experience of using Microsoft Office for documentation and presentations.

Our employability team deliver a suite of careers focused programmes and activities to school and university aged young people. This includes Pathways to Law, Pathways to Banking and Finance and Pathways to Engineering, each providing young people with support and expertise in accessing higher education/apprenticeships, work experience opportunities, and skills development. Each programme hosts a national residential conference, giving students the chance to live and learn in a university environment. During the conferences our students have the opportunity to network with industry professionals, take part in a range of skills sessions and project, receive expert guidance on studying and careers, and experience university life through social activities and overnight stays in student halls.

We’re looking for a highly organised individual with a proven track record in event management to lead on the delivery of our residential conferences. Alongside our in-person residential activities this role will also coordinate some online activity for the Pathways to Medicine programme and a lead on a range of projects designed to enhance the impact of the Sutton Trust employability activities.

The post will report to our Senior Programmes Manager for Employability, working closely with the wider employability team, including line management of an intern/assistant and matrix management of team members when required.

Main duties

Designing and delivering the Trust’s residential conferences, currently one event per year for each Pathways programme (Law, Banking & Finance, and Engineering). This includes

• Organising and managing event logistics, such as venues, catering, facilities and accommodation
• Designing activities, content and timetables in line with the programme Theory of Change
• Ensuring residential conferences are risk assessed and run in accordance with latest health and safety guidelines
• Ensuring all activities are planned and delivered in line with safeguarding polices and best practice standards, maintaining a safe and supportive environment for all participants
• Overseeing all residential conference administration and pre-event processes, including attendee selection, communications, and requirement gathering
• Managing relationships and coordinating delivery with multiple programme stakeholders including university partners, employers, session facilitators and volunteer speakers
• Managing the residential programmes budget
• Line management of the Employability intern/ assistant, and effectively delegating work for other support staff as required

Responsibility for onsite delivery of each residential conference, this will include:

• Overseeing events of between 90 – 150 students, including multiple overnight stays
• Being the primary contact for staff, volunteers and partners
• Overseeing the recruitment, onboarding, training and management of temporary conference staff; managing staff teams of up to 70 people
• Ensuring all activities and events are run on time and on schedule
• Responding to student concerns and pastoral issues
• Ensuring the appropriate training and staff are in place to embed a proactive safeguarding culture at all events

Further year-round responsibilities will include:

• Co-ordinating additional online events and activities across the suite of Pathways programmes, including Pathways to Medicine
• Contribute to the annual safeguarding review and improvement process led by DSOs
• Lead on a range of employability related projects focused on enhancing the impact of our employability initiatives.
• Managing the MEAL (monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning) and reporting process for residential and relevant online activities
• Modelling best practise in utilising the Trust’s CRM system and data sharing portal - including suggesting changes to drive efficiencies and data collection
• Other duties as necessary from time to time

Person Specification

We welcome applications from individuals who have experience in:

• Designing and managing large scale events - for over 100 delegates across multiple days
• Leading young person-facing events and activities, including awareness of best practice in supporting student needs
• Leading on robust and responsive processes for safeguarding young people, ideally in a residential setting
• Managing relationships with both contracted and voluntary delivery partners as well as diverse stakeholders
• Managing and delegating work to a team of staff to achieve delivery outcomes
• Problem solving and adapting to achieve goals
• Monitoring, evaluation and continuous improvement of process and delivery
• Budget management
• Delivering online events and activities (desirable)
• Working within or an understanding of the not for profit sector;

We are also looking for an individual who:

• Is sympathetic to the aims of the Trust and its mission to address educational disadvantage
• Demonstrates a high degree of initiative and leadership when delivering projects and events
• Has strong organisational skills including the ability to multi-task and prioritise
• Excellent verbal and written communication and strong analytical skills
• Has first-class interpersonal skills - a natural ambassador able to represent the Sutton Trust in a range of settings

Terms of Appointment

The role

The philanthropy manager will report to the senior philanthropy manager.

We are seeking a creative and driven philanthropy manager to join our team on a permanent basis. Working alongside members of the wider team, you will help deliver the best possible experience to some of the charity’s most committed donors through a mixture of bespoke events, personalised communications, and recognition opportunities across our hospital sites.

Specifically, this role will lead the team’s efforts in securing four and five-figure gifts and stewarding donors with a gold-standard experience that ensures continued support for the Royal Free Charity.

You will play an important role within our philanthropy & capital campaign team, helping to build relationships, and increase income, in a pivotal year for the charity. The role will offer significant scope for development, giving you the opportunity to grow your relationship-building, communication, and project management skills in a supportive, ambitious, and high-performing team.

The team

Our dynamic fundraising department generated £4.5m through donations in 2023/24, and we are now preparing for an ambitious multi-million-pound campaign in support of a ground-breaking cancer centre on the site of the Royal Free Hospital.

We pride ourselves on being a supporter focused and agile function, working at the heart of the charity to deliver impact for patients and staff across our hospitals.

Responsible for attracting and retaining donors, and delivering an outstanding supporter experience, the fundraising department comprises two teams which work closely together to achieve our shared objectives:

· Our philanthropy & campaigns team builds relationships with individual philanthropists, trusts, foundations, corporate organisations and intermediaries, giving or facilitating donations of £10,000 or more to the charity each year. They lead major appeal activity for the charity, currently focused on our forthcoming cancer campaign, and special events to support these activities.

· Our public fundraising team harnesses the support and energy of individuals and groups, helping them to give back in the way that works for them. This includes committed giving, in memory support, gifts in wills, and fundraising events and challenges.

· Our database and supporter care colleagues underpin and support the entire department.

Trusts and Foundations Manager

About the role

For 50 years, Kidney Care UK has been at the forefront of supporting people with kidney disease. From our early days when we campaigned to introduce donor cards in the UK, we have worked hard to support and represent the interests of everyone affected by kidney disease.

We are looking for a passionate, talented Trusts and Foundations Manager to join our ambitious, successful Fundraising team that has been growing non-legacy income 34% year-on-year since 2021 as we approach our new 5 year fundraising strategy.

This role is responsible for managing and developing the charity’s portfolio of Trusts and Foundations, securing significant gifts and growing the long-term potential of this portfolio (target for this 12 months period is £378,000). There are no direct reports, however the successful candidate will be expected to work closely with Senior Management Teams, other departments and stakeholders to build and develop cases for support to help fund our much-needed work.

The successful candidate will utilise their expert writing skills to shape those cases for support into compelling, high-quality proposals and reports.

Building relationships with a wide range of audiences including funders is key. Inspiring them to support kidney patients across the UK and engage with the kidney community, enabling them to tell their stories and better communicate how larger trust grants can make a real difference for people with chronic kidney disease.

A dynamic, self-motivated, ambitious and pro-active fundraiser is required for this role, demonstrating enthusiasm for the projects and services we are seeking funds to support.

About you

The ideal candidate for this role will have experience and a proven track record of successful income generation and delivering against targets.

You will have demonstratable experience in researching potential Trust funders, submitting compelling proposals, securing funding and project managing successful bids through to completion of the grant award.

You will also have a background in report writing and demonstrating grant impact whilst being able to build relationships with funders, individual/major donors and senior stakeholders.

Experience of providing excellent supporter care, building mutually beneficial long-term relationships with funders is a must for this role.

Key responsibilities

Research and process management

• Work closely with our Director of Patient Support Services (Patient Grants, Hospital Grants, Advocacy and Counselling) to fully understand our work, and with our Director of Finance to fully understand the costs of delivering our work
• Build strong cases for support, ensuring that you have all the information needed to create compelling proposals and reports for high and mid-value funders
• Research and identify prospective trusts and foundations and other grant giving bodies
• Grow and maintain a strong trust funding pipeline, creating new trust prospects for our priority funding areas
• Develop our long-term trusts and foundations strategy, and agree ongoing budgets and targets for this income stream
• Maintain accurate records including tracking and analysing opportunities, results, and outcomes

Fundraising 

• Identify and manage a pipeline of high-value prospects and opportunities which have the potential to deliver five- and six-figure grants
• Work with colleagues across Kidney Care UK to develop and submit high-value and high-quality trust and foundation bids for a range of short, medium and long term projects
• Develop relationships with the Senior Management Team and other key stakeholders across the charity maximising every opportunity for cultivation and development
• Champion ways of working with the kidney community to enhance your fundraising approaches
• Plan and organise opportunities for funders to view Kidney Care UK’s work first-hand, ensuring all safeguarding procedures are followed and met

Reporting 

• Compile comprehensive and compelling progress reports to feed back to grant makers in a timely fashion and incentivise continued support
• Alongside the Director of Finance prepare accurate budgets detailing spending of specific grants
• Draw down on any multi-year grants as outlined in our annual budget
• Provide briefing notes and income pipeline on donor activities and potential funding opportunities

Finance Coordinator is a new role to support our expanding services.

This newly created role will form part of our Finance Team. As a member of a small but dynamic team, you will work closely with the Senior Finance Officer and Head of Finance. Your role will be critical to our success, with your principal responsibilities including:

• processing purchase ledger invoices

Cynthia Spencer Hospice – Head of Commercial

Cynthia Spencer Hospice, based in Northampton, is seeking a Head of Commercial to lead and implement a commercial strategy to maximise profitable income streams in support of the Hospice’s work.

In conjunction with the NHS, the Hospice provides care for people with life limiting illnesses both at its hospice and in the community. This care is funded by the NHS with the charity raising extra funds to provide a range of supporting programmes.

This is an exciting opportunity for a senior retail professional to bring an entrepreneurial vision and shape this area of income for the charity. You will be responsible for managing their current commercial businesses and seeking out new, exciting commercial opportunities to support annual profit growth. You will also inspire and manage a diverse team of staff and volunteers and ensuring delivery of project milestones and financial targets.

The successful candidate will have retail sector management and development at a senior level, alongside experience of e-commerce, multi-site management and strategic planning and development. You will have a proven track record in people management across paid and volunteer resource and the charity would like to see evidence of driving profit improvement by at least 20% within a three year period. Alongside your strong commercial and financial acumen, you will have plenty of ideas about new business opportunities and/or experience of development and trialling of new business and alternative trading models. Finally, you will be results focused, entrepreneurial and innovative, whilst having a commitment to the aim and ethos of the Hospice.

Building on our charity’s already established level of support from major donors, you will provide exceptional relationship management to existing donors alongside growing our network of high value supporters.

Working closely with the CEO, alongside managing a portfolio of donors and prospects ensuring excellent stewardship, you will support our Breakthrough-ME Group (a group of high net worth and highly networked individuals). There is an established level of support from major donors at Action for ME so this is a role that will require exceptional relationship management to retain our current valued supporters while growing this crucial area of fundraising.

Key duties

Major Donor Fundraising

• Successfully develop and implement the philanthropy strategy to secure and maximise funds from high value individuals for Action for ME achieving annual income of £250k+

• Set plans and budgets which will deliver income through major gift fundraising and philanthropic giving through family trusts and foundations, including quarterly forecasting.

• Manage a portfolio of prospects and donors at the £5k to £100k level, to develop and maintain strong and long-standing partnerships

• Work closely with the Director of Fundraising and Development and other colleagues to ensure that plans and activities for fundraising from high value individuals are integrated into the overall fundraising strategy and plan for significant growth.

• Be responsible for our Breakthrough-ME Group with high quality proposition development.  Contribution to Group fundraising activities with a specific focus on ensuring their networks support pipeline growth for future fundraising.

• Lead the delivery of our biennial fundraising gala dinner, maximising income and new opportunities from attendees.

• Develop engaging and inspiring opportunities to steward and cultivate support creating a calendar of activities including events, presentations, approaches, networking and meetings.

• Utilise the CRM database (Raisers Edge) to provide the data required to strategise your approach to philanthropy, monitor progress and provide a high-quality donor experience.

• Ensure utilisation of insight & data, producing management information data to inform planning and strategy development.

• With the Director of Fundraising & Development, create inspiring cases for support and resulting propositions with clear budgets and outcomes.

• Create adequate systems and processes to support the major donor programme.

• Undertake and manage research into prospects and major donors, preparing for approaches and presentations and briefing senior leadership and trustees for donor meetings and events.

• Develop and maintain relationships with donors, a wide range of staff and volunteers from trustee level down.

• Provide regular feedback and internal reporting to line management.

• Work with other fundraisers to ensure that all fundraising opportunities and leads are followed up – particularly in corporate, community and trust fundraising.

• Work with Trustees, the Chief Executive and members of the Leadership Team to develop relationships with major donors.

• Self-administrate including managing your own diary and meetings, keeping accurate and up to date records of activity

• Occasional travel to London, Bristol & events

Other duties

• To positively promote the work and activities of Action for M.E. at all times.

• To contribute to the team’s overall, ongoing and annual planning and budgeting.

We’re looking for a Senior STH Practitioner who can manage the delivery of high quality and effective Social and Therapeutic Horticulture (STH) programmes in London for adults and young people with a range of disabilities and health conditions.

We’re looking for candidates who have proven experience of managing a team and an understanding of how STH programmes can benefit individuals and improve lives.  We need someone with horticultural knowledge and experience to plan the seasonal horticultural resources required for our programs and delivery spaces.

Based at Thrive’s London centre in Battersea Park. Some days will be spent at outreach centres within London, requiring some travel. The role will involve occasional travel to the Thrive Centres in Reading and Birmingham.

LMK (Let Me Know) is on a mission to change that. We are a young and thriving charity providing education about healthy and unhealthy behaviours so that young people have the knowledge and skills to avoid abuse and thrive in their relationships. We work in schools, community organisations and workplaces across London. 

LMK is growing at pace and we are ambitious in our plans for the future. Job Description

This is a new role, joining a small and growing fundraising team. The purpose of this Trusts and Foundations Fundraising Manager role is to grow LMK’s income generation from Charitable Trusts and Foundations, to support delivery of LMK’s mission. 

The role is a true combination of independent and collaborative working. Independent in the writing of bespoke funding applications and reports, maintaining accurate records on LMK’s CRM, and researching to continually build LMK’s pipeline of Trusts & Foundation prospects. 

And collaborative in the close working with LMK’s core team to monitor and report on restricted grants, and working together with the wider fundraising team on creative projects such as: maintaining an updated library of cases for support, implementation of fresh and creative stewardship strategies that bring LMK supporters closer to our work, and cultivation strategies that engage supporters to whom LMK is brand new. 

The role requires strong relationship building skills, which will be drawn upon in your direct working with Trust & Foundation supporters and internally with LMK colleagues. 

Key Responsibilities

• Writing bespoke funding applications: you will be responsible for maintaining a regular pipeline of applications, writing and submitting proposals to new and existing Trust & Foundation supporters, including six-figure and multi-year grants, working to targets for both income generated and outputs (e.g. number of proposals per month).

• Grant reporting: using LMK’s CRM system and working collaboratively with the core team to produce high quality, timely reports for both restricted and unrestricted grants.

• Providing excellent relationship management: to build trusted and lasting relationships with existing and new supporters, including delivery of stewardship and cultivation strategies.

• Case for support development: with support from the wider fundraising team, you will maintain a library of creative and compelling cases for support for use in Trusts & Foundations fundraising. 

• Researching Prospects: identifying suitable new Trusts & Foundations for LMK to approach, and developing and delivering approaches to cultivate early, new relationships. 

• Maintaining accurate, data-compliant records on LMK’s CRM: ensuring all grant records are stored securely, and delivery commitments are effectively communicated to relevant staff members in a timely manner.

• Comply with LMK’s policies and procedures, including those relating to safeguarding, bullying and harassment, health & safety, confidentiality, complaints and data protection

Reporting to LMK’s Head of Fundraising & Development, you will work collaboratively with LMK’s core team, including three fundraising colleagues: one part-time Fundraising Manager, one freelance Grants Fundraiser and one full-time Head of Fundraising & Development.

Person Specification 

• Proven experience of leading on Trust & Foundation applications generating  high 5-figure and multi-year grants.

• Experience of working with colleagues to provide financial information to funders e.g. developing budgets for grant requests and financial reporting at the end of a grant.

• At least 3 years’ experience in successfully delivering and/or supporting a grant fundraising programme, including demonstrable experience of working to targets and managing multiple deadlines, and understanding the trust & foundations fundraising landscape.

• Successfully managing a portfolio of at least 15 Trusts and Foundation relationships, with evidence of providing excellent relationship management and stewardship strategies resulting in renewed and/or increased levels of financial support from partners.

• Experience of using a CRM system to manage all aspects of grant fundraising, including maintaining a pipeline of grant prospects, managing live grants, and regular data input that helps to store a full picture of our funder relationships.

• Excellent written skills, with proven experience of developing a compelling case for support that connects prospective funders with the charity’s mission and is grounded in the charity’s strategic priorities and funding needs.

• Highly organised to manage a diverse workload with excellent time management and attention to detail. 

• Strong MS Office/Google knowledge, numerate, comfortable with data

The Communications Manager is responsible for managing CASPA’s communications function and brand development. They will ensure CASPA’s mission and purpose is reflected in our brand and social media presence, and effectively engages members, funders and other stakeholders.
