Job Summary

Ten Ten Resources is seeking a Schools Support Officer to play a vital role in supporting our partner schools in their use of our award-winning Catholic educational resources. Acting as a key point of contact for school staff, you will help ensure a smooth, welcoming and highly responsive experience from onboarding through to ongoing support.

You will handle school enquiries, maintain CRM data, manage user accounts, and support the delivery of school communications and helpdesk services. You’ll also contribute to the systems that underpin our delivery, bringing order, insight, and efficiency to the heart of our operations

This is a full-time, home-based role (35 hours per week), but we are open to applications on a job-share basis. Whether full-time or part-time, you’ll work closely with our collaborative and mission-driven team, combining independent responsibility with shared support.

Responsibilities

As Schools Support Officer, you’ll play a vital role in supporting schools and ensuring the smooth running of our operations. Your key responsibilities will include:

Client Support

• Act as the first point of contact for school enquiries across email, phone, voicemail and webchat.

• Respond to queries, resolve user issues, and provide quotes for subscriptions and trials.

• Triage communication to the relevant team member, where needed.
   

CRM & Data Management

Maintain the accuracy and integrity of our CRM (HubSpot), including:

• Keeping contact details up to date.

• Researching school term dates and contact information.

• Auditing pupil numbers and other key data.

• Building segmented databases for outreach to new markets.
   

Project Support

• Assist with content uploads and conduct basic technical checks.

• Support the planning and organisation of projects (e.g. filming, product launches).

• Research and source goods or services to support delivery.
   

General Admin

• Prepare and send occasional hard-copy mailouts.

• Handle post and support light finance admin, such as banking cheques.

• Provide flexible administrative support as needed across the team.

Place of Work

This is a home-based role, open to candidates based in the UK. The successful candidate will work remotely as part of Ten Ten’s home-based team.

The role is full-time (35 hours per week), typically worked across Monday to Friday. However, we are open to applications on a job-share basis, where two individuals work together to fulfil the responsibilities of the role. While there is some flexibility in working hours, availability is expected during core daytime hours to ensure collaboration with colleagues and timely support for schools.

We meet weekly as a team on Zoom to share updates, collaborate on projects, and pray together. In addition, we gather in person at least three times per year - typically once per term - for planning, training and team-building. These in-person gatherings usually involve overnight stays and are held at various locations around the UK.

We welcome applicants from across the UK who can commit to regular online engagement and travel for termly in-person meetings.

Job description

Job Purpose

To manage and develop the home from hospital settle service in the hospitals that you are responsible for, to support timely and successful patient discharges from hospital and prevent re-admissions.  You will work in collaboration with hospital teams and community teams to lead and manage your team to support the smooth transition from hospital to home for service users.  The service works with people for time limited support (usually up to 6 weeks) to adjust and settle back in their homes, and to prevent readmission into hospital. 

Key Tasks

• Work in partnership with the hospitals and other health and social care professionals to coordinate safe and timely discharges for referred clients.  This involves attending meetings with hospital personnel including Discharge Co-ordinators and Ward Managers to discuss discharges and plan who and how individuals will be supported as appropriate. 
• Manage a team working across two hospitals and ensuring the service is available between the contracted hours.
• Work collaboratively with other agencies providing support services.
• Conduct initial assessments of people referred to the services as necessary.
• Plan and develop person centred interventions to provide short term support for people after hospital discharge.
• Work with GPs as appropriate in identifying and supporting patients to reduce unnecessary hospital admissions.
• Work with people with a range of needs, dealing with issues ranging from social isolation and keeping people engaged in their community, to preventing unnecessary admission to hospital.
• Support the hospitals with delayed transfer of care (DTOC).
• Coordinate and monitor the caseload of referrals allocated to team members to ensure a fair and manageable distribution of work.
• Rota planning to ensure staff flexibility and availability, enabling planned rosters that best suit both hospital and patient needs.
• Develop your team which includes; supervision, appraisal, planning of continued professional development opportunities and training needs.
• Conduct regular management audits to ensure a consistent way of working and identify development and training needs in the team or individual.
• Develop and deliver a flexible service that can respond to peaks and troughs in demand.
• Ensure the service is meeting key performance indicators, and identify any concerns e.g. demand for the service exceeding the levels in the contract and taking proactive action to address this.
• Monitor performance of the services against KPIs and produce reports to demonstrate performance.
• Deliver front-line services when needed, e.g. sickness or staff shortages.  This is by exception rather than you regularly doing support work.
• Manage the budget, sign-off expenses, and ensure the project is delivered to budget, liaising with the Finance Department as necessary.
• Support the directorate with generating funding e.g. being actively involved in consultation of possible projects, providing activity data, opportunity spotting, and/or supporting the production of tenders.
• Occasionally provide weekend on call cover for the services you manage, and other hospital settle services provided by AUKEL.

Administration

• Lead on contract reporting, this includes quarterly annual and ad hoc reports
• Carry out annual customer service surveys.
• Maintain electronic records of referrals and interventions to assess service impact, support local improvements, and report on KPIs
• Meet and produce reports as required by the Head of Service.
• Ensure patient records are regularly updated through AUKEL database, and support staff to complete their administration via training etc.
• Work with the Communications team and the Head of Service, market and promote the service.
• Build and circulate a resource pack for the wider AUKEL team to generate referrals between services delivered by the charity.

 Quality

• Be familiar with and implement AUKEL policies and procedures.
• Ensure the service is delivered in accordance with Care Quality Commission principles.
• Ensure a cycle of continuous improvement by taking a “lessons learnt” review approach.
• Ensure that the requirements of the contract specification for the services are met.
• Ensure integration with other AUKEL projects, and service users are referred/sign-posted to appropriate support services available to them.
• Respond to safeguarding or other concerns and take appropriate reporting and management action.
• Lead on recruitment of staff for your team, and support others at AUKEL.

 Liaison

• Represent AUKEL and participate in appropriate external meetings and events and remain aware of local, regional and national issues affecting AUKEL clients.
• Develop external relationships with stakeholders, and build positive connections with health and social care partners
• Attend contract management meetings with commissioners alongside the Head of Hospital and Home Services.

General

• Meet regularly with line manager for support, supervision and appraisal.
• Attend team and staff meetings, (and other meetings) as required.
• Complete any training required to fulfil the post.

To provide appropriate emotional and practical support to women in the sex industry  and/or those who are being sexually exploited with a specific focus on those who are homeless. The women we support require intensive practical and emotional support as well as  support navigating health and other social care or criminal justice systems. The women will have poor mental or physical health,  experience  with homelessness and of the criminal justice system, are often victims of sexual and/or domestic abuse and many are homeless. This post specifically will offer support through the Housing First approach, offering access to a home, alongside intensive support. Working within a harm reduction ethos prioritising women’s safety and wellbeing, the intensive personalized supported will help women to access other services making appropriate referrals for women who wish to make changes, including exiting/transitioning out of sex work. You will be responsible for ensuring that women with varying needs are supported effectively throughout their pathway of support with Basis and partners, advocating for and with the women you are working with including where necessary challenging stigma and judgement women face. This post will work in close partnership with the Tenancy Management Support worker employed by Turning Lives Around.

Our services in Leeds provide support to adult women (and those identifying as women/non- binary) involved in all aspects of the sex industry or who are experiencing exploitation. The postholder will provide support to women identified as requiring or accessing intensive support. The team work to Basis’ organisational values, taking a rights-based approach and provide evidence-based services to enable and empower women to make informed choices. The team have an established reputation for providing high quality, effective safety advice, information and support, enabling safer working practices. Brief role description:

The Fundraising Officer plays an integral role supporting the Fundraising team at the Forces Employment Charity (FEC).

As part of the Marketing, Communication and Fundraising Directorate, and led by the Head of Fundraising and Development, you will research and identify new funding opportunities and support their conversion into long-term relationships. You will be supported by senior members of the fundraising team to create and write high-quality proposals to secure funding, and stewardship reports to demonstrate impact and outcomes to our funders.​

Job Title: Floating Support Worker

This is an opportunity to join Refuge as a Floating Support Worker to provide high quality practical and emotional support to survivors of domestic abuse and their children living in our dispersed refuge accommodation in Warwickshire. This service will provide emergency accommodation across Warwickshire with high-quality domestic abuse support, ‘by-and-for’ services for survivors of domestic abuse and their children. 

The post holder will provide high quality support and safety planning to survivors and their children who are fleeing domestic abuse. This includes enabling survivors to access housing, welfare, benefits and legal advice.  A key requirement is to provide personal welfare support and to ensure that survivors are provided with a safe, supportive and welcoming environment in accordance with Refuge’s philosophical principles.

The Floating Support Worker (FSW) will carry a caseload of survivors of domestic abuse to enable them to provide a more holistic and intensive support package. They will work closely with survivors from the point of crisis through to move on from the emergency accommodation. FSWs will work in partnership with both statutory and voluntary sector partners to ensure that the whole range of survivors’ needs are met.

As part of this role, you will be required to participate in an out-of-hours on call rota.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Blood Cancer UK research team following the recent launch of our ambitious new five-year research strategy which seeks to accelerate progress towards the day when no one dies from blood cancer or the side effects of its treatments. This post sits alongside two other research grants officers responsible for our clinical research and fellowships portfolios.

We are looking for a Specialist Support Worker, to work alongside our Senior Specialist Support Worker to provide focussed support to our beneficiaries across London.

Job summary: 

You will work as a member of Corporate Partnerships team which sits within Philanthropy and Partnerships. You will work closely with the Corporate Partnership Manager (Account management).

You will manage a portfolio of corporate supporters, building excellent relationships with key contacts and cultivating them for additional support, providing first-class stewardship and maximising income-generating opportunities.

In addition to this, you will proactively support the development of new business opportunities, conducting prospect research and building relationships with corporate prospects.

Principal accountabilities

• Manage a portfolio of low-level (£0k - £50k) corporate partners, including but not limited to fundraising, cause-related marketing, and sponsorship relationships.
• Proactively support the recruitment of new partners and the cultivation of new business opportunities. Conducting prospect research and developing impactful relationships.
• Deliver and support the team in providing first-class stewardship for corporate accounts.
• Support the creation of corporate fundraising materials e.g. posters and fundraising guides.
• Ensure contracts and legal responsibilities are drafted and in place for all partnerships and relevant activities, and conduct necessary due diligence.
• Process all thanking, banking and administration for corporate gifts received.
• Maintain and update the Raiser’s Edge NXT database in relation to your portfolio of supporters, including prospect and proposal tracking, ensuring that all data kept is in accordance with the Data Protection Act.
• Support with delivering High-Value Special Events, such as the coordination of guests, as required.
• Administration support, such as managing supporter mailings, managing the partnerships inbox and corporate web form enquiries.
• Research opportunities for development and recognition of corporate partners - e.g. charity awards .

Day-to-day you will manage the SHOAL database as the person responsible for collecting, collating and presenting the data relevant to all of SHOAL’s activities, partners, programmes and projects.

The primary set of data you will be managing is the SHOAL 1,000 Fishes Database. This is a database of more than 2,000 fish species that will require constant updates on their conservation status from experts and partners.

You will be a key person in collaborating with potentially hundreds of partners across the world to ensure that our database of priority species adequately reflects the action on the ground for each species.

To stand out you will bring your passion for conservation to the overlooked issue of the freshwater biodiversity crisis. You will be comfortable working in a small team, be self-motivated, and able to work independently, with a willingness to learn and adapt. Purpose of the Job

This is a key role within a small and busy finance team. The postholder is responsible for a range of transaction processing and finance administration; mostly focused on purchase ledger, sales ledger, assisting with the month-end process, and plays a vital role in upholding HFEH Mind’s financial controls.

Working closely with the Finance Manager, the Finance Officer will also need to communicate effectively with staff across the organisation and a wide range of suppliers to help resolve queries and ensure that the purchase and sales ledger processes are operating efficiently and effectively. Excellent organisational skills, the ability to prioritise to achieve internal reporting deadlines, and meticulous attention to detail, are critical for this role.
 

Job Description

Purchase and payments

• Ensure all invoices, expenses and credit notes received are processed following the agreed systems and controls.
• Process invoices and expenses into the accounting system.
• Creation of twice weekly and ad-hoc pay runs.
• Process and pay file generated into the bank software.
• Produce and send out remittances.
• Aged creditors review monthly
• Oversee that authorisation processes are being followed by staff.
• Process staff expense claims following the agreed systems and controls.
• Organise and process occasional cash floats and petty cash, ensuring unspent cash is accounted for and all transactions evidenced and recorded.

Card purchases

• Oversee day to day administration of card purchases, ensuring cardholders upload receipts and code transactions by the stated month end deadlines.
• Transfer fully evidenced and coded transactions from credit card template to Sage
• Reconcile transactions to the bank statements

Sales

• Raise sales invoices as requested and per income schedule.
• Sending out sales invoices to customers.
• Creation of a debtors report twice a month and distribute.
• Coordinate with operational staff for the recovery of debt; escalating in line with procedures.
• Posting cash receipts and allocate to the relevant invoice.

Banking

• Reconcile banking on a timely basis
• Post direct debit payments

Inbox management and other queries

• Daily review of new messages received into the finance email inbox from staff, suppliers and other parties, dealing with queries directly where possible.
• Be especially vigilant about phishing, Malware / spam emails which are common in generically named inboxes and following all data protection guidance given.
• For more involved queries, liaise with and assist other finance team members to resolve them appropriately; maintain responsibility for ensuring they are resolved.
• Excellent organisation and administration of both inboxes, to ensure the status of queries is clear at all times and appropriate records are kept on file.

Other regular tasks

• Support the Finance Manager with weekly payroll administration, for example communications with staff members regarding timesheets and new starter information.
• Pay cheques and cash into the bank account, including accurate completion of banking.
• Withdraw cash from the bank as necessary
• Lead on ensuring the digital filing structure is adhered to and support the rest of the team with scanning and filing as needed.
• Lead on the archiving of paper documents stored in the office.
• Assist with other tasks appropriate to your level of training where needed, to help ensure that the finance function operates effectively, including providing cover where staff are sick or taking annual leave.
• Work to the month end deadlines agreed within the finance team, to ensure timely production of management accounts and internal reports.
• Take responsibility for your continuous professional development, ensuring you maintain up to date knowledge of relevant financial legislation, accounting standards, good practice and new initiatives as relevant to the Mental Health and charity sectors.
