Job description
Session Leader (7611)


We are seeking 2 caring and fun filled Session Leaders to join our Short Breaks Services in Abingdon and Witney, Oxfordshire

Session Lead (16 hours)

£18,220 - 24,738 pro rata

(Depending on experience)

Providing safe, fun and stimulating Short Break sessions for disabled children, you'll offer direct care and interaction. You'll have an understanding of the needs of children with disabilities along with experience of working within a play/activity setting.

The sessions are held in two schools located in Abingdon and Witney.

Sessions are held after school from 15:00 to 18:00 and then in school holidays from 09:00 to 15:00.

These posts are to lead the sessions held in Springfield School Witney and Kingfisher School, Abingdon. Session planning, evaluation and recording will be part of the remit.

These posts are to cover 4 days a week

Extra hours are offered in school holidays.

In view of the travel that will be necessary for this post, access to own transport is essential.

The sessions are Monday to Friday 14:30 - 18:30 with extra hours available in school holidays when we run Holiday Schemes.
