The Partnerships Manager will manage a portfolio of commercial and fundraising accounts totalling c.£250k, as well as some new business development. The portfolio includes a £60k per annum CRM relationship with Plum & Ashby, focused around the Wave of Light candle campaign for Baby Loss Awareness week, with lots of influencer and comms engagement. The new business element will support the Senior Partnerships Manager and the Head of Corporate in their new strategy for increased brand, strategic and coty partnerships.

Key responsibilities:

• Account manage and build strong relationships with corporate partners at a 5-figure+ level
• Create and deliver high quality account management and stewardship plans for your accounts
• Build strong relationships with all key stakeholders internally and externally
• Take a proactive role in developing and nurturing a pipeline of new opportunities

Essential criteria:

• Experience of fundraising in a charity setting – ideally in corporate partnerships, although we’d also be open to transferable skills from trusts, major donors or community fundraising
• Successfully managing funder relationships at a 5-figure+ level
• Experience owning and delivering upon a fundraising target and KPIs

As the Community Shop and Online Manager for our flagship store in Mere Green you will lead a team of paid staff and volunteers. You’ll be empowered to make decisions locally whilst working within a supportive framework. You’ll work within and for your local community ensuring that engagement and support is understood and promoted. 

You’ll have great commercial skills, an understanding of how online selling works and why customer service is key and want to be part of a successful team. Ideally, you’ll have previous retail management experience, be able to demonstrate strong leadership and have the ability to work with and motivate any team.

Reporting into a Regional Manager you will be responsible for ensuring that your store and the online store runs efficiently and delivers a positive financial contribution to the Hospice. You’ll also have the support of a Retail Regional Supervisor, available to provide encouragement, training and development of best practise.

Your role

As Assistant Shop Manager at Scope's Bognor Regis shop, you’ll work alongside the Shop Manager, and use your creativity and flair to flourish in our retail environment. Our retail roles are full of variety, and every day is different! One day you might be be generating and processing stock and designing an eye-catching window display. The next day you might be recruiting and training our wonderful volunteers. Every day there will be a different challenge that you’ll find extremely rewarding. You may also deputise and be responsible for running the shop when the shop manager is absent. A great attitude and willingness to learn are just as important as relevant experience.

About you

You’ll be a dedicated team player with a strong work ethic and committed to providing excellent customer service. You do not need specific retail experience. But we do ask that you are business minded and have worked in a fast paced, service environment where you put the customer’s needs first. You’ll also need to showcase a great attention to detail, solid IT skills and have a creative eye for displays. You will have extensive experience of supporting organisations to deliver safe and impactful programmes, with a good understanding of skills development programmes, especially in relation to employability, entrepreneurship and education. This will be coupled with significant experience of working in Sub-Saharan Africa. About the Role 

As Shop Support Manager, you will provide focused support on defined areas, working alongside the Shop Manager to understand the shop, community, and proposition.   

This is an exciting new role with huge opportunity to impact the success of our Teddington shop, and to act as an ambassador for our brand in the local community!

Working closely with the Shop Manager in our Teddington shop, you'll take on a varied role delivering on key areas of work to enable the delivery of the shop's potential. You'll help embed new processes and ways of working that empower the volunteer team to help the Shop Manager drive the shop forward. 

From supporting volunteer recruitment, to taking on responsibility for day-to-day operations or leadership of the shop, you'll provide key support and additional capacity to the Shop Manager to enable the shop's continued success.   

About You 

You will be someone with exceptional project coordination skills, who understands the importance of community and enjoys supporting people to exercise similar passions through volunteering. 

You'll bring: 

• Project coordination or operations experience within retail or a transferable setting, e.g. community engagement, volunteer management, retail operations etc. 
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build & maintain positive working relationships with a variety of people.
• A flexible, positive and resilient attitude, able to work at pace in a fast-moving environment. 
• Results driven approach with experience of working to targets. 
• Experience and confidence using a range of IT platforms including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), as well as systems for the management of other areas (e.g. reporting, volunteer management). 

Previous charity retail experience is not essential. If you have transferable project management experience and are looking for a new challenge, we'd love to hear from you!

We have an opportunity to lead our Health & Wellbeing Team as part of a job share working in collaboration with another senior manager.

You will manage, develop and market Hospital Discharge and Health & Wellbeing Services in Bromley and Greenwich and work in partnership with other providers. You will be responsible for all Hospital Discharge services and work closely with the Hospital as well as  be an active member of the Senior Management team. 

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· To have oversight of the monthly and quarterly reports for the services

· The successful candidate will have responsibility for the following services:

o Take Home and Settle/ Hospital Aftercare Service

o Sitting Service

o Handy Person Service

o Frailty Care Navigator

o Long Term Health Conditions

· The work will include some on call responsibilities on evenings and weekends for the Hospital Discharge Services which an extra payment will be made.

· To work in partnership with other providers and health partners across both boroughs.

· To work within the Bromley Well partnership and maintain contact with BTSE

· To build a strong relationship with the hospitals and NHS staff

· To be responsible for health and wellbeing staff including undertaking supervision, guidance and support, allocation and monitoring of work plans, annual appraisals, identification of training needs and participation in the recruitment of staff.

· To work with the Chief Executive to devise and implement a marketing / publicity strategy to promote primary and secondary interventions and other services for older people.

· To work in partnership with older people, volunteers, statutory, voluntary and other agencies to initiate and deliver a programme of healthy living and recreational activities which meet the needs and aspirations of older people in Bromley and Greenwich identifying and developing new  initiatives and partners.

· To be responsible for ensuring that risk assessments are undertaken of premises, outreach venues, client’s homes and other measures for the provision of a safe environment ensuring that all legislative requirements are met.

· To ensure that evaluation and monitoring of service/project outcomes is implemented, enabling Age UK Bromley & Greenwich to demonstrate the effectiveness and impact of the service delivery.

· To establish and maintain excellent working relationships with clients, work colleagues, volunteers and partner organisations

· To work alongside the Chief Executive to undertake long-term strategic planning of primary and secondary care interventions and other health and wellbeing services.

· To work with older people and with other groups, organisations and agencies in the boroughs to identify potential areas for health, education and social activities that older people want to participate in, and identify funding sources to develop and deliver the new areas of work.

· To be creative and innovative in designing new opportunities and projects for people to get involved across the boroughs in the co-delivery of services.

· To work with diverse and/or hard to reach individuals / groups who are not involved in their community, in particular targeting people who are socially isolated.

· To keep your knowledge up to date with the health priorities and health commissioning strategies in both boroughs to ensure our services are ‘fit for purpose’ and can contribute to the current overarching outcomes agreed between the local Authorities and the ICB.

· To be familiar with the Joint Strategic Needs Assessments (JSNAs) Health & Wellbeing Strategies and decisions agreed at the joint local authority and ICB & Wellbeing Boards.

Your role

As Shop Manager at Scope's Gosforth shop,  you’ll have autonomy to run your shop using your creativity and flair to flourish in our retail environment. Our retail roles are full of variety, and every day is different! One day you might be  generating and processing stock and designing an eye-catching window display. The next day you might be recruiting and training our wonderful volunteers. Every day there will be a different challenge that you’ll find extremely rewarding. You will have relevant experience in retail but a great attitude and willingness to learn is just as important.

 

About you

As Shop Manager you’ll be passionate about retail and have a love of fashion with experience of running a shop, or you’ll be looking for a management role as the next step in your career. To be successful, you’ll need a commercial, can-do attitude and always put the customer’s needs first. You’ll be a dedicated team player with a strong work ethic, a great attention to detail, solid IT skills and a creative eye for displays. It’s important for you to know that Scope Charity Shops are open every day. So some weekend and Bank Holiday cover is needed. Our full time hours are 35 hours a week, working five days out of seven. Weekly hours for part-time vacancies are on a seven-day rota.
