About the team:
Kinship is in the third year of delivering the first national peer support service for kinship carers in England. We have created 145 peer support groups and supported and trained kinship carers to create and lead their groups in a way which meets their needs.
With a new contract from the Department for Education, we’re now entering a new phase of our service with a focus on:

creating 90 new sustainable peer support groups in areas of most need over 21 months;
-
sustaining and developing the current 145 existing groups; and
-
providing support and help to build a sustainable and welcoming community for all peer support groups across England.
This role will coordinate the ‘hub’ resources and content with a focus on supporting sustainability and building resilience of peer support groups and their leaders. Specifically, this role will manage an ‘online hub’ for support group leaders and provide an excellent ‘customer experience’ for all support group leaders. You will support the hub innovation.
Together with the Peer Support Hub Lead you’ll take a human centred approach to working with group leaders to develop a central hub of accessible and useful resources and activities (for in person and online). You’ll build good relationships with support group leaders, building in their insight to develop resources and activities that will support them in their role.
You’ll help kinship carers to sustain their groups, working with colleagues across Kinship to promote consistent access to services and activities (training, programmes, information, advice and campaigns), ensuring a joined-up user experience.
About the role:
The role of the Peer Hub Coordinator will provide operational delivery of the Peer Support Hub. With excellent marketing, communication and digital skills this role will work with the Peer Support Hub Lead to develop an ‘in person’ and online peer support community.
In this context, your role supports the centralised ‘hub’ of the service, delivering an exciting programme of training, speakers, toolkits and resources to help peer support group leaders develop, build and sustain their group well. This will be building on and innovating the current Support Group Network.
Your role will support group leaders to feel connected and supported, learn from each other and build a powerful and resilient peer community.
The type of person we're looking for:
Super organised, you are someone who uses their initiative, anticipates challenges and proactively provides seamless solutions.
You’ll be comfortable with using digital technology and tools to build communities and develop resources. You’ll be curious about digital community tools, and you’ll want to work closely with our digital and content team to develop an amazing online experience.
You’ll also be a people person – understanding how building ‘in person’ relationships is key to unlocking community power for kinship carers.
You’ll be the right-hand person to the Peer Support Hub Lead making sure we deliver a really brilliant experience.
Key responsibilities include:

Operational delivery, innovation and management of a dedicated online and in-person peer support ‘hub’.

Building direct and positive relationships with support group leaders.

Roll out mechanisms and tools to support groups to remain sustainable including but not limited to; informal buddy matches, online hub for support group leaders, monthly e-news, monthly speakers, themed specialist training (like setting up a safe Facebook group / promoting your group) and celebration events.

Facilitation of regional network meetings.
Essential requirements include:

Experience of developing jargon-free content for different audiences and channels.

You will have experience in:
· Experience/ background of providing person centred support to people with a disability or long-term health condition and their carers.

With a focus on removing barriers and reducing stigma surrounding seeking support, our strategy empowers individuals, communities, and faith leaders.
We are looking for an experienced Project Coordinator to join our team and lead the implementation of 'Your Voice Matters.' Collaborating closely with our Director of Support Services and fellow Betknowmore colleagues, you will oversee the delivery of workshops, facilitate focus groups, and participate in community engagement events. Supported by our partnership with The Faiths Forum for London, you will play a pivotal role in fostering relationships within the Black community to maximize the project's impact over the next two years.
This position is primarily home-based, with regular travel across Greater London as required. The role is full-time, offering a competitive salary between £33,000 - £35,000 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications. We are looking for two individuals to help deliver an impactful GOALS service across London and build effective networks of support for people before, during and after treatment.
A main aspect of the role will be to support and work closely with individuals presenting with lived experience of gambling harm issues and/or people affected by this issue. The GOALS Supporter will understand gambling related harm and dependency issues and be able to ensure safe working environments and take a robust lead on safeguarding and harm minimisation procedures and policy.
The post holder will work with the Director of Support Services and GOALS Coordinator to support the development and maintenance of the systems and structure of the service, ensuring that governance and polices are implemented, safeguarding and safe working practices are systematic and develop a clear understanding of how the service integrates with the national gambling treatment service.

More specifically, the post holders will:
• Research speaking opportunities and engage/build sustainable relationships with schools and other youth spaces with the aim of securing speaking engagements (known as bookings).
• Work with the Breck Foundation team to set up all new speaking engagements and ensure set communication processes are met and all calendar entries completed.

Role Purpose
The main purpose of the programmes team is to grow, develop and deliver all aspects of the day-to-day relationship management of:

Each Regional Manager is responsible for a local patch which currently typically consists of 5-6 schools or colleges, up to 100 students and 4-5 operational relationships with our corporate partners. There will be opportunities to be creative, as well as being autonomous in how you run and develop the programme with the Career Ready schools and colleges in your area.
Main responsibilities and accountabilities
Centre Management and Student Support
· You will work 1:1 with our community of school/college coordinators in your region to support them in delivering the programme. This will require regular meetings and communication, to support coordinators with the planning and managing of masterclasses, workplace visits and other Career Ready events for students and volunteers
· Regularly communicate and report to the Head of Programmes
· Execute our strategy across the region
· Support schools and colleges in programme onboarding (students and mentors) and delivery of paid internships
· From time to time there may be a need to deliver sessions to skills and careers leads and to groups of young people within the school and college setting
· Recruit new schools and colleges to the network from the region in accordance with priority target areas. Manage their induction, training, activities prior to launch and implementation of the Career Ready programme
· Assist schools and colleges on our programmes to plan, manage and run events (i.e. icebreakers, launches, or student promotion sessions) and be prepared to present at such events.
Partnership Management, Stakeholder Engagement & Business Development
· Day-to-day operational account management for employer supporters, ensuring they have excellent experiences.

General

About the role:
Kinship are seeking to recruit experienced event co-ordinators with a whole range of skills and great energy to join our brand-new training team. They will be responsible for delivering this first ever programme of its type supporting kinship carers across England in their caring role.
As a pivotal part of the team, you’ll be supporting delivery of high-quality in-person and online training events across England. You’ll be the first point of contact for the team and be experienced and responsive in dealing with enquiries. You’ll be used to working with suppliers and have proven experience of planning, co-ordinating and supporting the delivery of large events. You’ll bring significant working experience of using Microsoft tools, and other platforms and technology including Zoom. As an exceptional communicator and storyteller, you will have the ability to write for a variety of audiences, inspiring engagement, raising awareness, and driving income growth. You will be experienced in developing and implementing multi-channel communications plans, encompassing social media, digital, and print. Additionally, you will manage and grow the charity’s press and media engagement.
This is an exciting time to join the charity as we embark on several major campaigns and advocate for improved experiences and outcomes for children and families affected by childhood cancer.
Summary of role responsibilities

Develop, implement and manage a dynamic communications plan for Solving Kids’ Cancer UK that encompasses the three key pillars of our work, across all communication channels;

Lead on the development and implementation of online marketing campaigns to raise wider awareness, demonstrate our impact, grow our income, and position our organisation as a thought leader in paediatric oncology;

Develop and grow our charity’s’ media presence and profile;

Raise the charity’s profile and reach through the generation of new online and offline audiences, followers and supporters.
