About the Role
We are looking for an experienced ERP Programme Director to lead the successful delivery of MSI’s global finance and supply chain transformation programme. This programme will transform our capabilities and delivery across MSI’s 37 Country Programmes and Global Support Office (GSO) with the introduction of new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) technology, driving us forward to deliver our vital mission.
The Director will shape the overall programme from the outset, so that it is set up for success. The successful candidate will need deep transformation and ERP experience, delivering full ERP programme lifecycles in complex organisations like MSI. For the programme to be successful, building strong relationships with key stakeholders across MSI’s Country Programmes, Regional and Global Support Offices will be crucial.
The transformation programme has been approved and is currently at the inception stage, giving the ERP Programme Director the opportunity to make key strategic decisions that will shape the programme; such as the selection of an ERP technology solution best suited to MSI’s business requirements, appointing and onboarding a third-party implementation partner and to design and recruit the internal project team required to ensure success of the programme.
We anticipate a 3-year programme cycle with occasional international travel to MSI country programmes as required for the successful delivery of the programme.

To succeed in this role, it is essential that you have the following experience:
- Successfully delivered 8+ full-lifecycle ERP implementations in medium to large international enterprises. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics preferred but not essential.
- Strong track record in strategic transformation, change leadership and programme management delivering large programmes that have resulted in transformational change in the Finance and Supply Chain domain.
- Experience of overseeing complex multi-million pound programme budgets.
- International NGO and/or healthcare sector experience preferred but not essential.
- Experience driving operational efficiency in finance and supply Chain and implementing a framework for process standardisation and improvement.
- Experience delivering finance transformations involving shared service operating models.
- Extensive ERP vendor / system implementor contract management experience.
Formal Education / Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field expected, but we’d welcome applications from candidates with equivalent experience
- MSP, PMP or other relevant project or programme management certification expected
- Supply chain, logistics, or accounting certification preferred but not required

Location: London Support Office (hybrid working - 2 days per week in the office) or where any MSI country programme operates, preferably UK or Africa.

Salary: £80,000 to £100,000 per annum commensurate with experience, for UK based candidates. Discretionary bonus + benefits. For all other locations the salary will be in line with the national context.

1. Background and Purpose
The Deputy Director works in close partnership with the Executive Director (ED) to enhance the work of the small, dynamic secretariat team to create more momentum across its network. This new role will be instrumental in delivering on the strategic objectives and securing sustainable funding through its continued evolution. The person will be responsible for connecting the various programmatic areas of work quality assurance and impact, capacity support and its new country level work. They will guide planning processes to be able to track and analyse our impact. They will leverage the knowledge of the team to seek new opportunities for ensuring the Alliance delivers on its mission. They will be instrumental in developing and implementing long-term plans and processes that can bring new levels of success for the organisation.
2. Main Duties and Responsibilities
Guide and facilitate the team’s delivery of the CHS Alliance strategy:
· Work with the ED on delivering the strategy to position CHS Alliance as a network driving system change for greater accountability to people in crisis, creating relationships within teams and externally to influence change across the global humanitarian sector.
· Develop processes to support the team track progress on how we are meeting our objectives so they can be clearly communicated and analysed to continue to deliver on the ambitions of the Alliance’s strategy.
· Facilitate a strong culture of organisational collaboration to achieve goals and objectives; developing a framework that support the team’s cohesion in delivering the goals of the organisation to create greater impact.
· Provide oversight of the funding needs and priorities and support strong proposal development and compliance with donor funding and guide decisions on how to allocate and manage resources.
· Work closely with the ED, to establish and execute a fundraising plan to achieve the strategy and workplan of the CHS Alliance, including donor intelligence.
· Provide support to ensure staff can complete their responsibilities to their highest potential.
· Initiate programmes and activities that are resourced and effective and efficient as possible.
External partnerships & donor engagement:
· Stay abreast of emerging trends in the volatile context of humanitarian action and provide strategic thought leadership on the dynamic and shifting priorities and what it means for the Alliance network.
· Work closely with the ED to create a strong donor advocacy and engagement plan that goes beyond fundraising to work with donors as drivers of accountability.
· In coordination with the rest of the Alliance team, engage with external stakeholders to build and maintain relationships contributing to the CHS Alliance strategic objectives.
· Work closely across the teams to keep abreast of the Alliance members’ needs to meet the CHS commitments.
· Actively seek opportunities for partnerships to advance the CHS Alliance Strategic Plan (e.g. with members, academia, coordination bodies like the IASC, or other key stakeholders).
· Promote the CHS and the work of the CHS Alliance through relevant social media channels or platforms, through conference presentations and through workshops or other events.
· Represent CHS Alliance and its positions at meetings, speaking engagements or through opinion pieces. Assist the CHS Alliance to influence policy in the sector.
· Act as the public face of the CHS Alliance, along with the ED, to promote its mission and purpose.

The role
As the motion design producer at Breast Cancer Now, you’ll play a key role in helping bring our work to life.
You’ll be creating high quality, engaging content about our life-changing research, campaigning, fundraising, services and health information. And you’ll be part of the multimedia team, where we produce video, photography, motion design and audio that help strengthen our brand and tell our story.
Reporting to the senior multimedia manager, you’ll be producing motion design projects that cover all aspects of the organisation. This includes producing multiple small and large-scale motion projects throughout the year to support major campaigns and projects. Experience of producing long and short-form content with an eye towards social trends is also desirable.
The role may require some work on larger video and photography projects throughout the year to support the wider team, so any skills in video production, video editing or photography would be an advantage.
About you
You’ll have a keen interest in all things motion design and have a good portfolio of work to show this. You’ll be hard-working and highly motivated, with a flexible approach to your work. And you’ll be used to working in a busy team environment and able to work on your own initiative.
Strong communication skills are essential as you’ll be working with teams across the charity, supporters and people affected by breast cancer.
You must have considerable experience using adobe creative suite, particularly after effects, illustrator, photoshop and premiere. Any knowledge of blender or other 3D software would also be welcome.

Our role is to sustain a thriving British furnishing industry with a talented workforce delivering high quality products, which supports those in need from within its ranks and those who have served it in the past. We achieve this through three pillars of activity – education, excellence and welfare.
We are seeking an organised and driven individual for a maternity cover to lead on our education and training programme, which is facilitating the growth of a talented workforce by inspiring, connecting and retaining the next generation. This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity to make a real impact, addressing the skills gap in the industry, working alongside young people.
This is a varied role with a significant focus on events and project management, including special events, as well as engagement activities to raise awareness of career opportunities in the industry. This includes driving forward our new 'My Furniture Career' website aimed at 15 – 24-year-olds and attending careers fairs. This role will also involve working with specialist education providers to support the provision of industry specific education and training.
A successful applicant will have demonstratable experience of organising and delivering large scale events, timely and cost-effective project management and financial reporting. You will be able to work independently and with a high level of attention to detail and used to prioritising a complex workload. Experience of working in the sector or in a previous educational role is not required.
Job Purpose
- To be the focal point for implementing all Education and Training activity within the Company, and to report back to the Education and Training Committee to maximise its reach and effectiveness.
- To implement several large-scale national events engaging young people, industry and specialist education providers.
- Oversee and steer the activity around a new website to engage young people with possible careers in the industry, ensuring growing engagement with young people and job posters.
- To administer and deliver several small grant programmes which support furniture and furniture students or those working with said students.
- To support and report quarterly to the Education and Training Committee.
Key Responsibilities
Events
- Young Furniture Makers Exhibition - To plan, organise and deliver the annual one-day exhibition showcasing the best new talent to industry. Securing event sponsorship and working with sponsors during the organisation process to ensure positive relationships. Working with over 70 exhibitors, multiple sponsors and external suppliers to ensure a successful event.
- Young Professional Industry Engagement event programme - To plan, organise and deliver the annual three-week programme of CPD visits for a selected group of participants to industry hosts across the UK. Working with participants and over 20 organisations to schedule and deliver the programme.
- Furniture Making T-Level conference – Working with the Chair of the Education and Training Committee and selected members to plan, organise and implement a one-day conference on the practicalities of overing the Furniture T-Level in an educational setting.
- Organise and attend several regional career fairs and trade shows to promote the education and training initiatives and encourage young people to consider a career in furniture and furnishings.
- Plan and organise the content of an Education and Training slot at the annual Furniture Makers’ HR Conference to highlight key events and programmes.
- Ensure that equality, diversity and inclusion is considered in all aspects of Education and Training events.
Grants
- Administer a small annual grants scheme supporting colleges and universities which provide specialist furniture and furnishing education courses.
- Manage a travel bursary scheme to support exhibitors attending the Young Furniture Makers Exhibition.
Website
- Administer the jobs board featured on the My Furniture Career website, screening and approving posted vacancies as well as liaising with those posting jobs to confirm the status of the vacancy, sharing data once the vacancy expires and collecting feedback data from the poster.
- To work with the Digital Officer to agree a schedule of content for the website and its associated social media.
- Work with the Communications Manager and Digital Officer to promote the use of the website by the targeted audience group as well as the HR community to post vacancies to the jobs board.
- Produce a quarterly report detailing the usage and any highlights regarding the website.
- Report any technical issues to the website provider and liaise with them to fix the issue.
Reporting
- Quarterly reporting on activity and budget to the Education and Training Committee.
- Supporting the Committee Chair by setting up Committee meetings and taking minutes.
- Supporting the Committee Chair with any other administration as necessary related to the Committee.
- Assist with any ad hoc administration as necessary related to the FIESTA Committee.
Miscellaneous
- Assisting the Education and Training Committee Chair with any administration in regard to the Masters Certificate Scheme.
- Send quarterly feedback surveys mentoring participants and collect the data for reporting purposes.
- Work with the Communications and Marketing Manager to promote Education and Training events.
- Keep the Education and Training budget up to date and process all invoices in a timely manner.
- Report back to all event sponsors after any Education and Training sponsored event to keep sponsors updated and aware of the events successes.

About the role
