Key Duties and Responsibilities

· In collaboration with colleagues, to develop the Hear Us Academy (accredited peer support training modules)
Volunteer Database Management
· Manage the volunteer database by maintaining an accurate record of Hear Us volunteers, including but not limited to activity status, address, and communication preferences on Hear Us database(s).
· Ensure all recruitment checks are completed and accurate volunteer records are held in compliance with the Data Protection Act and GDPR.
Linkwork Project Support
· Act as a deputy for the Peer Support Coordinator where required, in managing a small, vibrant team of peer support volunteer Linkworkers (all of who are current or former mental health service users).
· Assist with Linkworking Project support, such as supporting volunteers in signing up for the SLaM Involvement Register, arranging an induction with Hear Us and introducing peer support Linkworkers to wards and services.
· In the absence of the Peer Support Coordinator, organise and manage the peer support Linkworking rota, finding cover where necessary, ensuring as few sessions are cancelled as possible.
· In the absence of the Peer Support Coordinator, maintain good relations with the SLaM Involvement Register, and submit peer support Linkworkers’ timesheets as required.
· In the absence of the Peer Support Coordinator, ensure the ongoing delivery of Linkworking Sessions
· Help monitor the peer support Linkworking Project, evaluating its effectiveness on improving services and gathering feedback from service users, Linkworkers, and SLaM staff.
· Gather and provide peer support Linkworkers with signposting material and information that can be shared with service users.
Stakeholder Management
· Work in partnership with the Peer Support Coordinator, Engagement and Campaigns Manager, Welfare Rights Manager, Events Coordinator, Deputy CEO, CEO, trustees, and other staff members to achieve the charity's aims and ensure stability and longevity for Hear Us and its members.

The Junior Policy & Advocacy Officer will support the delivery of MCF’s policy, advocacy and research work. Key Responsibilities
1. Policy Monitoring and Research Support
• Track and summarise relevant UK policy, regulatory, parliamentary and sector developments related to civil society, charity regulation, funding, equity, inclusion and climate-related legislation or sustainability policy, reflecting MCF’s commitment to sector-wide awareness of climate action.
• Assist in drafting policy briefings, consultation responses, evidence submissions, and research summaries.
• Support the Head of Policy & Advocacy in compiling data and insights for reports, position statements and strategic documents. • Conduct desk-based research on thematic issues affecting Muslim-led and minority-led organisations.
• Monitor media commentary relevant to the British Muslim-led Voluntary and Community Sector and contribute to the preparation of responses, in collaboration with the Policy and Communications teams.

About the Role
As a Breck Foundation Speaker, you’ll help share Breck’s story and empower communities to use the internet safely and positively. You’ll deliver both in-person and virtual talks, engage with schools and organisations, and play a vital role in raising awareness of online safety nationwide.
Generating your own leads and bookings is a key part of this role, with additional commission available for each successful booking.
What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone with a compassionate outlook who enjoys working with young people (students between 18 and 30), can maintain a positive mindset in unpredictable situations and handle responsibility. This is a people-centred workplace and all work we do is geared towards our mission and to look after the welfare of the students living here. You will be working as part of a small team, sharing office space and in close collaboration with colleagues and students. This is a diverse role where you will meet interesting people from around the world. The day-to-day job can be challenging, but we provide full training and the chance of learning many new skills. Reporting to the Warden / Deputy Warden and working alongside another Assistant Warden you willassist with the general office admin duties and various tasks around the house (including some basic maintenance and repairs) for which we will provide adequate training – however, a positive attitude is essential. You will also need to be comfortable with taking personal responsibility to ensure delegated tasks are completed successfully, effectively and, where necessary, using your own initiative.
Whilst your role and daily tasks may vary, they can include (not an exhaustive list):
·Maintaining office admin paperwork, computer filing, responding to e-mails & phone calls
·Completing basic bookkeeping tasks, e.g. inputting/issuing invoices & receipts into Xero
·Inducting new residents - hour-long introductory talk to ensure they are very familiar with the running of the House from their arrival onwards, ensuring rooms are of an acceptable standard when they leave – this needs to be done with the right measure of authority
·Bedrooms & Bathrooms – repairs to fittings, unblocking drains, replacing sealant etc.
·Pest control – e.g. checking for rodent or bedbug activity, organising and potentially carrying out treatment
·Preparing and cleaning rooms before letting where necessary - e.g. following maintenance (note: rooms are otherwise cleaned by residents; communal areas by professional cleaners)
·Pastoral care – e.g. discussing personal or academic issues with residents and finding solutions
·Planning and supervising communal activities, e.g Welcome party, barbeques, etc.
·Social media posts, taking meeting notes, working with the charity trustees.

Job purpose:
- Lead and grow community fundraising activity and campaigns to support Willow’s strategic income goals
- Build and steward strong relationships with donors, fundraisers, volunteers, and community partners to increase support and awareness.

Key Responsibilities:
- To help lead and develop our Community Fundraising strategy and plans within agreed budgets to achieve financial non-financial targets.
- To raise awareness of our work and to inspire support through:
- Providing outstanding stewardship to our network of supporters to maintain engagement and build loyalty. To provide a highly personalised approach to supporting Willow’s fundraisers ensuring our supporters receive a positive experience throughout their fundraising activity

- To work with the Communications Team to produce campaign materials, share interesting stories and fundraising updates. Prepare content for newsletters, website, and social media.
- To develop a team of volunteers to support fundraising activity. This could include delivering talks, attending events, and promoting Willow at community events.
- To foster relationships with Willow’s network of charity shops and explore collaborative opportunities to mutually support each other’s initiatives.
- To ensure accurate recording of supporter information and reporting on activity through:
- Updating the charity’s database, Raisers Edge (RE) recording all donor contact and fundraising activity.
- Using RE as a tool to aid fundraising using data insight and reporting
- To prepare end of campaign reports to improve results for future campaigns and capture learnings.
- To prepare regular income reports and updates as required.
- To keep up- to- date and comply with the rules as set by the Fundraising Regulator, GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) and other relevant legislation and codes of practice and good practice.

This is a fixed contract to support the AMA in exploring income generation opportunities for Goose, an AI powered learning platform co-designed with heritage organisations for heritage professionals across the UK. Within this project we are looking to:

We are looking to work with someone who has experience of fundraising and sponsorship within the heritage sector.
We have developed Goose as part of an Innovation project funded by National Lottey Heritage Fund. We’ve been working with developers Make Sense of It to build an AI tool that understands the heritage sector, knows about its seasonal challenges, diverse audiences, limited budget and the balance between preservation and accessibility that defines heritage work.
You can use Goose to :
· Create social media content that brings history to life
