We are looking for a successful Individual Giving Manager to join our dynamic Fundraising Team. You will be developing and delivering innovative fundraising strategies to grow our individual donor base, maximise supporter retention, and expand legacy giving.

About You
We are looking for a passionate and creative individual giving fundraiser or marketeer to develop and drive forward the programme. You will have a track record of delivering against income targets and KPIs and be experienced in delivering campaigns and activities on time and within budget.
With excellent writing and communication skills, you will be able to build strong relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and Manage Individual Giving Campaigns:
Help design and implement engaging individual giving campaigns across multiple channels (direct mail, digital, email, telemarketing, etc.).
Plan, manage, and execute regular giving programs, aiming to grow a sustainable donor base.
Monitor and report on campaign performance, using data to optimise and drive continuous improvement.
Recruitment of New Donors:
In conjunction with your line manager drive the recruitment of new individual donors through online and offline channels, focusing on building long-term relationships.
In conjunction with your line manager develop strategies for donor acquisition via social media, digital marketing, and fundraising events.
Create and manage lead generation initiatives to convert prospects into committed supporters.
Develop and Run Legacy Campaigns:
Design and deliver targeted legacy giving campaigns to raise awareness and increase donations through bequests and regular giving.
Ensure legacy messages are communicated effectively across different touchpoints, including online, print, and events.
Cultivate and steward legacy supporters, ensuring they feel valued and part of SANE’s vision.
Direct Marketing and Social Media:
Work closely with the Digital Marketing Team to create content for direct marketing and social media to encourage donations and engage with potential donors.
Collaborate with the Media and Communications Team to ensure that fundraising messages are compelling, on-brand, and reach the right audience.
Measure and analyse the impact of digital fundraising and social media efforts, making data-driven decisions to improve engagement.
Website and Digital Fundraising:
Work with the Digital Marketing Team to ensure the charity’s online donation platforms are optimised to drive conversions and facilitate a smooth giving experience.
Work with the Digital Marketing Team, Deputy Head of Fundraising and COO to develop strategies to integrate online donation opportunities within the website, social media, and email communications.
Donor Stewardship:
Develop and implement strategies for donor stewardship, ensuring individuals are thanked, informed, and engaged post-donation.
Maintain a regular and consistent program of communications with donors, keeping them updated on the impact of their gifts.
Identify opportunities to upgrade donors to higher giving levels and inspire loyalty.
Collaboration and Reporting:
Work closely with the Services and Media and Communications Teams to gain SANE Services statistics, case studies and up to date on general mental health information, to align individual giving efforts with broader fundraising strategies.
Provide regular reports on campaign progress, income generation, and donor acquisition metrics to the line manager.
Assist with donor relations and events as needed to nurture relationships and engagement.

About the role:
The Junior Content Producer is a new role that will play a pivotal role in supporting the Content Team to deliver Drinkaware’s multimedia content strategy by creating engaging multimedia content. The role is key in ensuring that the public can make conscious, informed choices about alcohol and can find help if they need it.
Main duties and responsibilities:
Content
- Manage the Content Team’s production Monday boards, to ensure tasks are assigned, tracked and deadlines are met
- Manage content requests in line with the content development process
- Support the Creative Content Lead and Senior Digital Content Officer with digital and printed content production and delivery
- Support the Operations and Programmes, Partnerships and Research teams with content creation and delivery
Social media
- Support the Senior Digital Content Officer with the delivery of the social media plan by scheduling social content in line with our content panning cycles
- Build relationships with specific audiences through community management across social media channels, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn, which includes finding influencers/advocates/case studies for Drinkaware
- Monitor social channels for reactive engagement opportunities and flag any reputational risks emerging on socials

About us
The Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) brings together 15 leading UK aid charities to raise funds quickly and efficiently at times of humanitarian crisis overseas. This role will require you to lead on organic social media as part of the DEC Communications team, working closely with the Digital and Innovation team in Fundraising, collaborate with social leads across our 15 member charities and public figures through our talent agency. During appeal launch periods it will also involve managing a small social media team of volunteers.

Senior Social Media Officer
Location: London
Salary: £38,000 Per Annum Based on 35 Hours Per Week

As Senior Social Media Officer, you will promote greater public awareness and understanding of the British Red Cross using our social media channels – everything from Facebook to TikTok.
You’ll work closely with colleagues across the Marketing, Fundraising and Communications directorate to ensure integrated communications. You’ll work alongside colleagues across the communications, content and digital teams.
Specific areas of focus will be on international and emergency appeals working with key stakeholders in the organisation and within the movement. You will help explore how we can engage with new and more diverse audiences to support people living in crisis, in the UK and around the world.
You’ll support the social media manager to plan and implement our social media strategy, innovate and make the British Red Cross an exemplar of social media storytelling.
This is an opportunity to develop and create campaigns that inspire people to act and drive positive engagement. We want you to develop and lead creative and compelling social campaigns and activity. We need you to inspire the public to take action to support people living in crisis.
What you’ll bring to the role…
- Expertise and know-how: you have an excellent understanding of social media, can use social media management and creative editing tools.
- Digital experience: you have significant experience of working in a digital environment in a social media, editorial, public relations, marketing or similar context.
- You have demonstrable examples of successful pieces of work and campaigns delivered, ideally in an NGO or aid agency context.
- Project Management - Lead on projects as the main social media representative. Managing multiple campaigns at once and coordinating work with other departments, regional and international colleagues.
- Prioritisation: ability to handle multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-changing environment, being reactive to news and emerging crises.
- Tact and diplomacy: you can handle sensitive and confidential information and can use sound judgement about sensitive issues (often involving vulnerable people).
- Network management: you must have experience of building and managing online communities, reputation management and extensive professional use of networking or content sharing sites.

About the role
This role within our external affairs team focuses on securing impact for our work through the management and delivery of effective communications, events, campaigns and public affairs work.
This varied role involves management of L&W’s digital communications, press and media work, stakeholder relations and events throughout the year. The role also involves supporting the delivery of L&W’s flagship campaign, Get the Nation Learning, and supporting L&W’s public affairs work. The postholder will work closely with the senior management and research and development teams to develop and deliver effective communications and influencing strategies, and to support fundraising through sponsorship of our events and other communications activities. The role involves working with our team in Wales who lead on campaigns and activities in Wales.
The ideal candidate will need experience of working in a busy communications role; experience of developing and delivering in person and online events; a track record of building relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels; flexibility and adaptability; excellent project management skills; and an interest in adult learning, employment and skills policy.
Duties and Responsibilities
Communications
- Secure press and media coverage for L&W’s work, including proactively identifying opportunities to promote our work, responding to press and media enquiries, and working with colleagues to launch research reports and other outputs.
- Lead the development of regular and ad-hoc external communications, including press releases, newsletters and marketing communications.
- Manage our social media channels and website, producing regular, high-quality content.
- Ensure all activities are monitored and evaluated to assess impact and to inform future work.
Events
- Manage the planning and delivery of L&W’s in-person and online events, including our annual Employment and Skills Convention.
- Work with internal and external colleagues to develop content for L&W’s events, including securing high-profile speakers.
- Secure sponsorship for L&W’s events.
- Ensure all activities are monitored and evaluated to assess impact and to inform future work.
Campaigns
- Support the delivery of Get the Nation Learning, including national awards, Get the Nation Learning Week, and regional adult learning awards.
- Work with colleagues to secure sponsorship for Get the Nation Learning.
Policy and public affairs
- Support the planning and delivery of L&W’s public affairs activities, with a focus on UK Parliament, UK Government, Mayoral Combined Authorities, and local government in England, in order to raise our profile and deliver impact.
- Undertake regular public affairs activities, including: horizon scanning and planning for upcoming parliamentary activity; writing to Ministers and MPs; coordinating parliamentary briefings, parliamentary questions and consultation responses; and other policy influencing opportunities.
- Ensure all activities are monitored and evaluated to assess impact and to inform future work.
Other duties

About you
Essential criteria:
- Excellent communication (oral and written), good copywriting, with the ability to tailor communications to a range of audiences.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Strong social media skills including the use of platforms such as Bluesky and LinkedIn, with proficiency in the use of web and social media analytics tools, such as Google Analytics.
- Basic design skills and familiarity with design software, such as Canva.

We’re seeking a Media and PR Assistant to join our busy press office working to grow the charity’s profile and media reach. This role would suit a team player with a proactive attitude who has a keen interest in, and knowledge of, the media. Strong communication skills – both written and verbal - are a must.
About the role
As the Assistant PR and Media Officer, you will work across the media and PR team to support the delivery of impactful media coverage that will build understanding of the issues affecting people with arthritis, increase awareness of Versus Arthritis and drive change.
This will include acting as a point of contact for journalists seeking information and working with colleagues across the charity to provide timely and accurate comment, requiring occasional out of hours work. As well as responding to reactive media enquiries, you will have the opportunity to help deliver proactive media work and write press releases.
Central to increasing awareness and understanding of arthritis is through sharing the experiences of people with lived experience. Alongside the Stories Officer, you will support people to share their stories with media and help manage these important relationships.
A key part of the role is to provide administrative support and to lead on media monitoring and evaluation, ensuring this supports team performance and learning. We’re a friendly and supportive team, keen to help you progress and thrive.

About the role of Assistant Communications Officer:
- You will be supporting both the media team and wider communications team to help us reach as wide an audience as possible.
- Supporting the media team with day-to-day tasks such as writing and issuing the daily news summary, managing rotas, assisting with compiling monthly reports, take part in the team rota to be the first point of contact for media requests coming into the organisation - via press phone and media inbox.
- Supporting the media team with campaign press - writing press releases and creating social media content, pitching stories to journalists, setting up media interviews and writing briefing documents and work with the social media team to monitor our social channels and interact with followers where required.
