We are seeking creative and committed Volunteer Fundraisers to help us grow our small charity.

This is a remote volunteer role ideal for someone looking to use their creative fundraising knowledge to make a meaningful impact.

Role Overview
As a Volunteer Fundraiser at Barefoot and Free, you will be reuired to come up with fun ideas to fundraise, be able to engage people to fundraise and encourage new supporters.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organise and execute virtual and in-person fundraising events (eg raffles, quizzes, sponsored challenges)
• Liase with fundraisng volunteers (eg sponsored runners etc)
• Ensure events run smoothly by preparing, schedules, materials and plans. 
• Act as a main point of contact for invividual fundraisers and teams
• Regukar communication to offer encouragement and guidence.
• Procatively check they have everything they need (eg fundraisng pack, marketing materials) 
• Create.design a central fundraising tracker (eg excel or similar) 
• Log all fundraising activities, targets, deadlines ad progress updates 
• Collaborate with the social media volunteers (if applicable) to amplify campaigns
• Support the recruitment of new fundraising volunteers

• Influencing / Campaigning - We are seeking experience and ambition that will help us influence policy and industry practices through the development of relatinships with policymakers, travel and tourism industry and media etc. Also shape campaigns, raise awareness, drive systemic change and support advocacy strategies to remove barriers for families. 
• Digital Transformation - We wish to evolve and develop our digital strategy and technology adoption. A key priority is to ensure our digital growth is considered and aligns with accessibility and security.

Your Skills and Contribution

You'll need: 

• Strategic vision, independent judgement, and an ability to think creatively.
• A proactive attitude, willing to bring new ideas and perspectives to our Board, and confident about challenging decisions, where necessary, in the best interests of the charity.
• Willingness to understand and take on the duties and responsibilities of trusteeship.
• Commitment to the charity and our mission, and the ability to devote the necessary time and effort to do the role well.

The Commitment 

We’ll ask you to participate in four two-hour Board Meetings per year, typically in person at our office in London or remotely.We also get together for a Strategy Day in September/October, which is held on a weekday in London, and you’d need to attend that in person.

We can support with any access needs for in-person meetings.,

There are two Board sub-committees- one which focuses on our Finances and Risk, and one which considers our people (Trustees and Staff). Once you’ve settled into the role, most Trustees join one of them. They meet remotely around four  times a year.

Outside of formal meetings, you’ll be warmly encouraged to get to know the staff team, and attend fundraising events 
or other events to meet referrers, families, and supporters wherever possible.

Overall, you’ll need to be able to commit around 6 hours each month for a mix of meetings and events, contributing
your skills and perspective to projects, building your knowledge of the charity and developing as a Trustee.

Purpose of the Role

This volunteer role is a key part of the HFEH Mind team delivering a range of services across Hammersmith and Fulham, Ealing, and Hounslow. We support clients with mental health with both clinical and non-clinical interventions.

The volunteer will work on our Mind Within Counselling Service which offers low cost counselling up to 20 sessions of varied modalities. to residents in Spelthorne and residents across Hammersmith and Fulham, Ealing, and Hounslow. Our volunteer will support the Mind Within Counselling team with numerous tasks beginning with the projects administration and triage (once trained).

Main Responsibilities

To work closely with the Mind Within Counselling team and support the service with enquires, & service users to access the service.  

Tasks:

· Answer any queries from both professionals and service users that come through to the Mind Within inbox.

· Triage clients for the service through an onboarding process.  

· Support with follow up surveys for those who have accessed the project and obtained their feedback to improve our services.

· Support the Mind Within Counselling team to promote the service to the local community.

· Liaise with our digital marketing lead to ensure the service is being promoted on social media.

· A willingness to undertake training courses.

· Uphold HFEH Mind values and behaviours.

Type of person we are looking for:

We welcome applications from those completing studies in Psychology, Counselling/Psychotherapy, or any Allied Health Profession with a focus on supporting those with mental health needs. 

However, your attitude, motivation, and commitment are just as important as your training/qualifications, or any previous experience. We will review all applications individually and assess them on their unique merits, so do not be discouraged from applying if you do not meet all the criteria listed below. 

We encourage applications from those with lived experience of mental health problems, as well as those from Black, Asian, and minority ethnic communities.

Essential:

· An interest in supporting those with mental health needs to access Mind Within Counselling.

· An appreciation of the complex factors that can precipitate, maintain, and exacerbate mental health problems.

· Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to follow administrative procedures.

Desirable:

· Experience of supporting people with mental health needs, in a voluntary, paid, or personal capacity (i.e., friends and family).

· Awareness of the cultural barriers that may exist to seeking mental health support.

· Able to speak other languages fluently to support the cultural diversity demographics of the boroughs.

Time commitment and expenses:

Role Summary.

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Podcast Producer to support the planning and delivery of the Firmly Rooted Podcast. You will be responsible for planning and booking studio recording sessions, managing post production editing, and working closely with the host and other team members to make this the no #1 podcast for Muslim university students. 

Key tasks

• Brainstorming, contacting and liaising with guests to appear on the podcast

• Booking and preparing the recording studio for filming sessions

• Recording the podcast in the studio alongside the guest and host

• Cooperating with the host to plan the structure and topics covered in each episode

• Coordinating research and brainstorming sessions to identify potential guests and topics

• Collaborating with data analyst and design team to test and produce attention-grabbing thumbnails and titles

• Uploading the podcast to our video and audio platforms

· help on collection days like supermarket collections events or street collections

· help at fundraising events such as quiz nights, cake sales and dances

· promoting a professional image of Cats Protection at events

Time expectation

This role is really flexible! You could choose to volunteer at one event for a couple of hours or attend multiple fundraising events.

We’ll keep you up to date with upcoming local events where volunteers are needed. You’ll then be able to choose which events you’d like to volunteer at and how many hours you’d like to give. However much time you can give, your contribution will help raise much needed funds to continue the work of Cats Protection.

About the role

Ubuntu Pathways is seeking a proactive, organised, and mission-driven intern to join our close-knit London office to assist in organising and facilitating our upcoming office move. This role will report to the Fundraising & Operations Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity for someone eager to contribute meaningfully to Ubuntu’s impact in Gqeberha, South Africa, while gaining valuable experience in global fundraising and operations.

Key Responsibilities

Essential duties include, but are not limited to:

• Supporting digitisation and organisation of donor files

• Preparing the office for relocation (clearing, packing, labelling)

• Conducting donor and grant prospect research

• Supporting marketing and social media activities

• Preparing and filing Gift Aid documentation

• Assisting with general office admin and supplies

• Helping with event prep — sponsorship and auction support

• General upkeep — inventory, shredding, basement tasks

What you’ll gain

What we’re looking for:

Essential Skills & Experience

• Strong commitment to Ubuntu Pathways’ mission and values

• Excellent administrative, organisational, and time management skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• High attention to detail and accuracy in both data and written materials

• Discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, etc.)

• Positive, adaptable, self-motivated team player with a can-do attitude

Desirable (but not required)

• Personal or professional connection to South Africa and an understanding of the local context

• Familiarity with Gift Aid regulations and UK fundraising compliance

• Knowledge of the UK and international development/charity sector
