Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage research and insight projects, including quick-turnaround polls and primary/secondary research to strengthen Young Enterprise’s evidence base.

• Monitor, clean and validate data, ensuring high standards of data quality and completeness.

• Stay up to date with external research and sector trends, particularly in education and youth research, building strong peer networks.

• Support external reporting and dissemination, ensuring funder monitoring and evaluation requirements are met and impact is shared effectively.

Location: Based within the Non-residential service in Wembley, working within communities, homes, and other residentials. About the Role

This is a great opportunity for a Deputy Service Manager to join our team based in Wembley. You will support the Service Manager to ensure high quality service delivery, being a key contact for staff, helping them feel supported, skilled, and empowered within their roles. In this role you will be based within a service which is at the heart of delivering person-centred support to vulnerable adults who have been, or are at risk of homelessness. 

Key Responsibilities include:

• Line Management and Leadership, supporting your team providing advice, guidance and support throughout their employment lifecycle
• Support the Service Manager in leading the day to day operational delivery of the service
• Risk Management ownership, ensuring processes and policies are followed
• Financial Management, including petty cash and budget management
• Contract management and Internal auditing, admin, and general other duties as required. 

About You

We are seeking a passionate, driven and motivated colleague to help lead our service in a trauma informed and inclusive way. Someone who is knowledgeable in the needs of our residents, particularly around homelessness and complex needs, able to support the team in delivering their daily duties. You will be driven with passion for what we do, and be able to work flexibly to meet service needs, providing new ideas and opportunities to develop the service further to continue to achieve excellence!

• Understanding of homelessness and complex needs of people from different backgrounds

Recovery Worker

Job Title: Complex Need Recovery Worker

Location: Based on site in Balham. Please note that this service has step free access.

Salary: £27,000

Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours a week over a rolling rota which includes 7.5 - 12 hour day and night shifts, Monday to Sunday working between 08:00 -21:30. You may also be required to work flexibly around these hours as per resident and service requirements, including weekends and bank holidays.

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated, patient, and compassionate Recovery Worker, with a specialism in complex needs to join our team, which supports residents who have a current or history of complex and mental health needs. In this role, you will deliver flexible, tailored, person centred support to residents to improve their quality of life and achieve their personal goals. You will utilise your communication skills to build trusting, professional rapport with our residents to help them overcome personal challenges. Our residents may have multiple and complex needs which includes with their mental health, substance use, and physical health. The service supports them to move onto lower supported or independent housing, and you will be at the forefront in their journey.

Some Key Responsibilities Include:

• Create tailored support plans through one to one sessions, group sessions, and multi agency meetings
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of residents at all times
• Focusing on empowering our residents to take control over their lives and meet their personal goals
• Planning activities to engage residents with other people, communities, and opportunities
• Be a valued and reliable member of the team, completing handovers for night colleagues for a seamless service
• Supporting residents with taking their correct medication
• Keeping support plans up to date using our online portal

About You

We're looking for someone who has a genuine passion for supporting people who may have complex needs which includes mental health challenges and substance dependency. You will be able to build professional and trusting rapport with others, and work towards achieving positive outcomes, using a flexible and adaptable approach that recognises each individual’s unique and varied support needs. You will be motivated to help people overcome personal barriers and make a real difference to their lives, finding fulfilment in a role driven by a genuine commitment to supporting others. You will be able to remain calm, flexible, and positive when responding to challenging situations, and be motivated to support people to build resilience and independence. Experience in mental health or support work is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.

• Experience working within a residential setting
• Experience working with people with multiple and complex needs, ideally in mental health
• Ability to show empathy and compassion to our residents, and different challenges they face
• Ability to motivate, and empower others to achieve their personal goals and overcome barriers
• Previous experience in creating co-produced support plans, key working, and care plans

Citizens Advice Canterbury District is looking for a Finance Manager to join the newly formed Citizens Advice North East Kent. As such you may be required to work from any of these Citizens Advice locations: Swale, Canterbury District and Thanet and remotely, as required.

We are looking for someone who will provide a full financial management service to ensure Citizens Advice North East Kent operates effectively and is compliant with all legal and sector requirements, ensuring that accurate and timely financial information is produced for the Chief Executive Officer, the Senior Leadership Team and Board of Trustees.

This is a newly created post within our organisations, established as we undergo significant structural changes and merge our three districts into a single entity. The transition requires dedicated financial expertise; therefore, we are looking to appoint a Finance Manager who will play a key role in supporting and influencing this organisational change. The post holder will be responsible for overseeing the financial monitoring and reporting of our newly formed organisation and ensuring robust financial management throughout the transition and beyond. You will need to ensure the sharing of financial knowledge and reports amongst senior colleagues so that they can understand financial implications of decisions. The post is open to some remote working as well as those able to work in our geographic locations.

BIAS is a leading local Irish charity which has supported England’s largest community in Brent for over 45 years. We deliver our support across London through our welfare advice drop-in service, our active ageing clubs and our Be-a-Friend volunteer scheme. This is an exciting new role in which you will proactively generate and grow fundraising income across all fundraising streams to enable us to continue supporting the most vulnerable members of the Irish community. You will support our fundraising strategy by contributing to digital communications and creative content across all channels, in cooperation with project delivery teams. The role will play a central part in raising awareness and growing supporter engagement through digital  campaigns, donor events, individual giving initiatives and the development of relationships with local businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver BIAS’s community fundraising strategy.
• Develop and implement a varied portfolio of events, community fundraising activities and campaigns, all of which reflect the spirit of BIAS.
• Explore marketing opportunities to raise the profile of the charity.
• Ensure relevant processes are in place to deliver successful, profitable community fundraising activities.
• Oversee the management of fundraising systems and platforms in order to create the best possible experience for donors and participants.
• Develop a robust supporter journey for community fundraisers which leaves them with an excellent experience and generates a long-term relationship with BIAS.

To achieve these objectives, the post holder will be expected to:

• Plan, budget, coordinate and attend an annual community fundraising and events calendar with set objectives, budgets and KPIs for each activity.
• Regularly review the performance of fundraising activities/events, making  recommendations for improvement.
• Build and maintain a variety of community relationships across varying stakeholders.
• Explore and coordinate fundraising opportunities such as online donation platforms, auction platforms and text-to- donate services.
• Work with colleagues to ensure that all events are adequately supported with staff, volunteers and post-event debriefs.
• Ensure that all events and activities are compliant with the Code of Fundraising Practice, GDPR and internal policies.

This job description reflects the basic duties required of the Fundraising Manager. However, it is necessary for all staff to be flexible and you may be required from time to time to perform other reasonable duties which are required for the efficient running of the organisation. What we’re looking for…

• Experience of designing and delivering successful community fundraising events, campaigns and activities, preferably with a track record of at least two years.
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills, including budget and project management.
• Ability to build excellent working relationships, especially with supporters and partners.
• Strong team player who will ensure clear and regular communication with the BIAS management team.
• Ability to keep calm under pressure and maintain a clear head, anticipating risks and problems.

We are seeking a talented Communications Manager to amplify UnLtd’s voice and influence within the sector while shining a spotlight on the incredible work of social entrepreneurs. This role is about balance: telling inspiring stories that bring their journeys to life, while also demonstrating measurable outcomes, addressing challenges, and showcasing how our unique funding and support model drives impact.

As a core member of a small, collaborative team, you will create and deliver high-quality communications across multiple channels. Your work will include managing media relations, overseeing day-to-day digital communications and social media, updating and optimising website content, producing marketing and campaign materials, managing communications projects, and supporting events.

We are looking for someone with experience in a broad communications role, including press office expertise, who thrives in a dynamic environment and brings a proactive, learning mindset. A little bit about the role 

Location: Hybrid, 2 days a week expected in our London Office.

Salary: £65,431.97 (including London Office Allowance) plus competitive pension

The Principal Practice Tutor will play a leading role in and delivering Frontline’s Approach Social Work programme, a fast-track master’s in social work.  This is an exciting role for someone who wishes to combine management and leadership responsibilities whilst keeping a close connection to the work of their team by working directly with participants on the programme.  

The role of Principal Practice Tutor is to provide programme leadership and team management ensuring a high-quality teaching experience as well as ensuring excellent participant placement experience by supporting Consultant Social Workers. 

The role comprises of six core areas of responsibility: 

• Programme leadership and team management
• Resolve escalated participant issues
• Practice learning of participants 
• Support of Consultant Social Workers 
• Delivery (teaching) and Quality Assurance (marking) of the programme’s curriculum
• Supporting and operationalising wider organisational objectives 

You will work alongside the Head of Delivery, Principal Curriculum Leads and Principal Partnership Leads to ensure a high quality, effective learning experience for our participants. You are responsible for successfully incorporating best practice in pedagogy, through the provision of training, guidance and quality assurance activities across teams.

As a Researcher at UnLtd, you will be responsible for a range of research and evaluation activities on key programmes and projects. You will work across the project lifecycle, developing new work, as well as collecting, analysing, and interpreting data to produce insights and reports that inform and influence internal and external stakeholders.  

Alongside this, you will contribute to developing a culture of learning, ensuring that insights and evidence generated by our research and evaluation activity feed back into the organisation, allowing UnLtd to iterate our work and be an impact-driven, agile, learning organisation. This is an independent role within a dynamic delivery organisation, so we are looking for an implementation researcher to help elevate our research to the next level.

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead our Finance Team and ensure the smooth running of the department. Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, managing budgets, and driving process improvements.

You will oversee the production of Monthly Management Accounts, Budget Variance Reports, and ensure all Balance Sheet reconciliations are completed accurately. This role involves close collaboration with budget holders and other departments, providing clear and meaningful financial information to support decision-making.

Please note, this role requires two years post qualification experience in ACCA, ACA or SIMA & experience of people management. Charity experience is also preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support the Finance Team
• Oversee day-to-day financial transactions using Xero
• Prepare monthly management accounts and budget reports
• Reconcile control accounts and investigate discrepancies
• Assist with annual budget setting and system updates
• Handle VAT (including partial exemption)
• Liaise with auditors and prepare annual accounts
• Identify and implement efficiencies and controls
• Contribute to updating finance policies and procedures
