The Role

As Community Coordinator, your role will focus on the growth and sustainability of the FareShare Go programme; through maximising relationships and adding value to create the best experience for our charity community. The successful candidate will be an exceptional communicator, with an approachable nature who will play a vital role in developing and maintaining charity and food partner relationships, together with raising awareness of FareShare Go across your local area.

The Community Coordinator will work across their designated area, with the following key outcomes:

• Charity recruitment and onboarding. Community Coordinators are responsible for maintaining and increasing the number of charities collecting from food partners in the CC’s area, by generating leads through their local networks and research, working with the Regional Support Team to guide charities through the FareShare Go onboarding process and matching charity needs to available food sources in their local area using the ‘right charity-right store’ principle.
• Charity account management. Community Coordinators manage relations with all the charities in their area, in collaboration with the Fareshare Go Customer Support Team, to ensure the best possible experience for their charities. CCs conduct charity account reviews in person or remotely, with all their charities at least once a year, carry out annual Food Safety Checks and follow up food safety or contract breaches to ensure that the FareShare Go programme delivers the very highest levels of food safety assurance for our food and charity partners.
• Food partner account management. Community Coordinators manage relations with food partner outlets in their area, working closely with the Escalated Customer Support Team to resolve issues between charities and outlets by visiting stores and restaurants to collaboratively fix problems and promote engagement by food partner colleagues. Community Coordinators build and maintain relationships between food partners and local charities by educating colleagues about their charities, promoting volunteering opportunities and maximizing the value of local relationships between charities and food partners.
• Area development. As the territory owners for their areas, Community Coordinators use their local knowledge to increase the volumes and food types that their charity accounts can accept and use, to ultimately maximise the social value of food distributed through the programme.  This includes supporting charities to increase their capacity to take more chilled and frozen food, expand their services into new areas or new distribution channels and reach more members of the local community.
• Community marketing and engagement. Community Coordinators are ‘the face of FareShare Go’ in their local areas and promote the programme’s benefits to local voluntary organisations, umbrella groups and zero-waste and food insecurity groups.  They work collaboratively with FareShare Regional Centres in their area, researching local activities, presenting at group meetings and educating charities about FareShare Go and the food and other support they can access from our food partners

Person Specification

Essential

• Level 2/3 Food Safety training is desirable, but training will be provided.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Support Coach to join our new Independent Approved Premises (IAP) covering the night shift on a rolling rota. You will play a key role in supporting our residents who have left prison and are based within a residential setting to reintegrate into the community. You will develop and engage with our residents to produce tailored support plans which support their individual needs in successful rehabilitation and reintegration within the community. You will identify their needs, goals and skills, and then support and motivate them to achieve their potential. The service holds a strong focus on public protection and effective risk management.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of residents and participants at all times
• Engaging with residents throughout the night, ensuring they are adhering to their license conditions. This may include planning activities to engage with them such as movie nights, games nights, and other activities applicable
• Be a valued and reliable member of the team on the night shift, completing handovers for day colleagues for a seamless service
• Building trusting professional relationships with residents, helping them to achieve their goals and aspirations which could be through tailored one to one sessions, group sessions, in and out of service activities, and general wellbeing check ins

About You

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a new service which works with offenders as they are released from prison. It is a community based setting, rather than custodial where residents can go out in the community, depending on their Licence restrictions. Join our team as a Housing Lead to play a major part in supporting our residents with their long term housing needs. You will act as a bridge between various housing stakeholders and residents, to ensure a tailored move on plan is put in place which meets the needs of all. We thrive to ensure our residents have the right access to resources and tools to support them in reintegrating into the community, and re-establishing relationships to support with their rehabilitation. 

Responsibilities include:

• Act as the main point of contact between landlords, housing associations, local authorities, private landlords, wider Social Interest Group Services, and our residents
• Work with the wider team to support residents with their long term needs
• Provide specialist support to the wider team to ensure they are regularly trained and kept up to date with policies and procedures, including government changes
• Provide regular reports and updates
• Manage current resident tenancies, ensuring timely rent payment
• Support with property and building management and maintenance including scheduling repairs

About you

We're looking for someone who has knowledge on different types of tenancies, an understanding of the types of needs of our resident group, and able to provide tailored solutions to meet their long term goals. You will have a true passion to support in making a change, supporting rehabilitation, and providing opportunities to people to make positive changes to their lives, and reintegrate into society. You will have a general understanding of the criminal justice system, and/or have experience supporting people with multiple/complex needs. Further, you will have:

• Previous experience in coordinating/delivering activities and interventions with people from different backgrounds
• Experience of working with people of complex backgrounds and/or a good understanding of the sector
• Knowledge of risk management and risk assessment
• Knowledge of license conditions and public protection
• Knowledge of tenancy management, able to share knowledge with others in the team and residents

About the Role

Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) works for the health and dignity of Palestinians living under occupation and as refugees. MAP is the leading UK charity delivering health and medical care to those worst affected by conflict, occupation and displacement, in the occupied Palestinian territory and Palestinian refugee camps of Lebanon. 

MAP seeks a Head of Logistics Systems and Training to lead the development and implementation of standardized logistics policies, procedures, and tools (excluding procurement). This role is central to ensuring that logistics systems are fit-for-purpose, efficient, compliant, and supportive of MAP’s medical aid delivery across the occupied Palestinian territory and Lebanon. A key focus will be on staff capacity building and field support to ensure high-quality logistics practices aligned with medical and humanitarian standards. 

About You

You are an experienced humanitarian logistician who enjoys designing and building systems, ways of working, and governance to support more effective logistics processes and function. You have a broad range of expertise across warehousing, transport, customs and fleet management, and particular experience in health supply chains and medical logistics.  You are able to bring a team with you through training to develop adherence to policies and procedures, and apply your experience in emergency response to give context appropriate advice. A solid communicator, you convey both the detail of processes and the reasons behind them to ensure buy-in from stakeholders at all levels of the organisation

Duties and key responsibilities

1. Policy and Systems Development

• Develop, document, and roll out logistics policies and SOPs in the following key areas:

o Warehousing and cold chain management (with sensitivity to medical supply needs)

o Stock control, inventory, and distribution tracking

o Fleet and transport management (including movement of medical supplies across checkpoints and borders)

o Asset tracking and management

o Import/export procedures and customs clearance, especially for medical goods

o Logistics record-keeping and audit readiness

• Ensure that logistics systems are context-appropriate, compliant with MAP’s internal policies, donor regulations, and relevant health standards (e.g., WHO guidelines, GMP).

• Ensure that there is one version of the truth in MAP’s logistics systems, working with other systems, projects, and governance bodies as required.

• Support the development of the required systems to enable improvements in the supply chain function.

2. Training

• Conduct multiple needs assessments to identify logistics training gaps across MAP’s country offices.

• Develop training materials such as competency frameworks, learning and development programmes, and associated training materials tailored to MAP’s operational and medical logistics context.

• Deliver training and coaching to logistics, operations, and program staff in Lebanon and the oPt (West Bank and Gaza).

• Build staff capacity in cold chain, medical warehousing, and cross-border logistics procedures.

• Establish systems for ongoing learning, including refresher trainings and knowledge sharing.

3. Quality Assurance and Compliance

• Monitor field implementation of logistics procedures and identify areas for improvement.

• Ensure all MAP medical logistics operations conform to Good Distribution Practice (GDP) standards.

• Support internal audits and donor reviews by ensuring logistics documentation is in place and systems are audit-ready.

• Work with MAP’s MEAL and Operations teams to develop KPIs and performance metrics for logistics operations.

• Develop and maintain a logistics risk management plan (RMP) and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) plan, supporting the identification, assessment, and prioritisation of risks. 

4. Operational Support

• Provide technical support to country teams during emergency responses, including surge capacity for logistics planning and setup.

• Liaise with program teams to ensure alignment between logistics support and medical programmatic needs.

• Work closely with MAP's Procurement function to ensure consistency between Procurement and Logistics systems, policies, and procedures.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Essential:

• University degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Humanitarian Operations, Public Health Logistics, or related field.

• Significant experience in humanitarian logistics, including field-based experience in complex or protracted crisis contexts.

• Demonstrable experience developing logistics SOPs and operational tools (excluding procurement).

• Experience developing and implementing logistics systems (e.g. inventory management, e-assets).

• Strong training and facilitation skills, including ability to work across cultures and languages.

• Knowledge of Good Distribution Practice, cold chain and medical logistics standards.

• Familiarity with customs, import/export, and movement constraints in occupied and conflict-affected areas.

• Understanding of donor compliance frameworks (e.g., FCDO, ECHO, UN agencies).

• Prior experience with medical or public health-focused NGOs.

Desirable:

• Arabic language skills (spoken and written).

• Experience working in or on the occupied Palestinian territory and/or Lebanon.

Beacon is an online membership and activity management system for u3as. It provides a simple interface for managing members, groups and finances. Beacon currently provides over 650 individual u3as with over 300,000 members with a secure, efficient and effective means of managing their day-to-day business functions. 

SiteWorks offers a website presence solution for u3as, Networks and Regions. A volunteer-led team provide WordPress websites on a managed platform. SiteWorks provides over 700 u3as with a website presence.

A central aspect of this role will be working closely with volunteers; the service manager will play a key role in overseeing and supporting the ongoing operation of both these systems. Historically theses services have largely been managed by volunteer teams, whose commitment and expertise have been vital to the success of both systems. Going forward the service manager will provide oversight and accountability for these critical systems, ensuring they remain reliable, secure and fit for purpose.

Responsibilities

This role is a broad role, covering finance administration, systems administration as well as supporting in a wide variety of tasks across the organisation’s work.

Key tasks

Finance

• Manage day to day finances using Xero, ensuring payments are made as scheduled
• Perform all day-to-day bookkeeping duties using Xero and Excel
• Maintain all necessary accounting records including invoices, expenses, payments and transactions
• Ensure payments are made as scheduled and processed through the bank
• Review and maintain supplier records, (including subscriptions, memberships, insurance etc.) 
• Maintain accurate financial information regarding donations and grants, including sources of donations and Gift Aid
• Assist with Annual Reports and Accounts process and with annual audit process

Systems administration

• Act as main point of contact for our IT support provider and main systems administrator on our databases (Beacon) and project management tool – no prior experience of these systems is required but you must have a willingness to learn.
• Act as GDPR officer, ensuring data retention and GDPR compliance across the organisation.
• Maintain and update records and processes on project management software.
• Maintain an effective filing and data management system for the organisation across Microsoft SharePoint
• Induct and train staff on new systems and processes.

HR support

• Coordinate the recruitment and induction of staff and contractors.
• Maintain Rosa’s staff handbook, ensuring agreed changes are implemented.
• Lead on Health and Safety compliance across the organisation
• Assist in the policy development and policy review schedule.

Governance support

• Service quarterly Board of Trustee meetings, including collating and formatting of papers
• Maintain accurate Trustee records
• Manage information relating to the Charity, including legal documentation required by external bodies

Grant Administration support

• Process funding awards, including processing payments
• Updating and reconciling grants database with financial management system and 360 giving data
• Undertake regular database cleaning ensuring data is stored correctly.

Philanthropy and Partnerships support

• Assist in the organisation of events
• Support in the transition to a new fundraising database
• Support the recording and reconciliation of donations on the fundraising database, ensuring records are maintained and up to date

You will be responsible for:

• Providing a high standard of stewardship for supporters, nurturing existing supporters, thanking donors, and supporting charity events, such as our supporter reception.
• Developing our charity fundraising appeals
• Developing and promoting the challenge events portfolio.
• Keeping the fundraising pages updated, helping to design and produce fundraising materials (flyers and fundraising packs). 
• You will be working closely with the Fundraising and Development Manager and will be required to support the wider Communications team where needed with additional fundraising activities.

This position is home-based with occasional travel for fundraising events.

Initially a 12 month contract, but with the possibility of becoming a permanent position for the right candidate.

A driving license isn’t essential.  Occasional evening and weekend work may be required for events.

The successful candidate will be IT literate, an excellent communicator, highly organised with a strong attention to detail.

A background in fundraising is required, although this could be from intern or voluntary work.  An understanding of ME/CFS is desirable.

Stewardship

• Monitoring the fundraising inbox, acting as a first point of contact for a wide range of supporters and enquirers.
• Developing individual giving income through enhanced communications, great stewardship and supporting on fundraising appeals.
• Nurturing our regular givers and looking for ways to grow our regular-giving donor base.
• Completing thanking processes efficiently for donations.
• Developing and managing tools and resources to support fundraising events such as sending out t-shirts, posters, flyers, donation boxes and fundraising packs when requested.
• Liaising with the communications team to create promotional materials to advertise events through the website and social media channels to increase engagement.

Administration

• Keeping accurate records of all prospect and supporter interactions on our CRM system, Raisers Edge NXT.
• Optimising fundraising and donation opportunities at key charity events, researching and recording information.
• Supporting the Fundraising and Development Manager as and when needed.
• Working with colleagues across, communications and services teams to ensure a smooth flow of information to support fundraising promotion and engagement.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Finance Officer to join our mental health charity, to support and deliver effective, efficient financial processes and compliance with financial regulations and data protection to ensure the smooth and effective running of the organisation.

We are seeking a dedicated and organised administrator to support our membership and workforce initiatives. The sexual and reproductive health (SRH) workforce is comprised of doctors, nurses and allied practitioners who deliver high quality care across the UK and beyond. The CoSRH Membership and Workforce Assistant will support the needs of this workforce, supporting the delivery our Workforce Action Plan in partnership with the Director of Membership, Marketing and Digital and the Vice President of Membership and Workforce. The role:

Administration of the Membership and Workforce Board of Council

• Lead on administration of the Membership and Workforce Board of Council and its sub-committees, including setting meeting dates, sending invitations, preparing papers, taking minutes and actions, and dealing with queries.

Supporting the Finance team with
