What the role involves
1. Ensuring that there are regular training opportunities for both new starters and those requiring refresher sessions or updates when new functions or forms are released. This will include running system training drop in sessions to assist with queries / hear feedback, and relaying information from these to the Information Governance and IT manager.
2. To support managing the case recording system help desk – so that support is always ava
ilable to front line workers and other stakeholders.
3. Working with the Learning and Development Coordinator to establish an evaluation method and implement this to enable us to assess the effectiveness of each training session and using this to improve future delivery.
4. Produce effective training materials and guidance documents, and develop and maintain a training area on our case recording system, including the creation of dummy forms and files for new users to access and use as a training sandbox
5. Performing case recording system changes to forms and lists as directed by the Information Governance and IT Lead
6. Support the Data Reporting and System Support Lead with regards to user administration and user support at times of absence and increased need
7. Working with the Learning and Development Coordinator to support the creation of e-learning training modules for our LMS (currently RISE) Acting at all times in line with safeguarding legislation and guidance in addition to Safer London’s practice guidelines and wider pan-London processes and protocols.
8. Undertaking any other duties as required and commensurate with the level of this post, including covering the Data Reporting and CRS support lead post functions when relevant.

Salary: Level 3 – £30,000-£35,000
As Health and Wellbeing Lead, the purpose of your role will be to work with volunteers and colleagues to support Sheds and Shed Networks to improve men’s health and wellbeing across the UK. This work is within the context of informal, peer-led, self-determined spaces, where the emphasis is on activity not health prevention, which suits many men and works well for them.
This role involves engaging directly with Sheds and Shed Networks, supporting them to foster partnerships with local health and social care organisations, as well as supporting local health and social care organisations to understand and engage effectively with Men’s Sheds in their area.
You will work with volunteers, colleagues and external experts to gather and share accurate, accessible and relevant resources, information and case studies related to men’s health and wellbeing with Sheds and Shed Networks. This will include developing and engaging with digital health tools, information and training, as well as taking an empowering and capacity building ‘train the trainer’ approach to the design and delivery of all training and workshops related to men’s health and wellbeing.
You will work closely with the Head of Volunteering to support volunteers to promote the role of Men’s Sheds in preventative and community-based health locally and will work with colleagues to support volunteers to actively contribute to promoting the role of Men’s Sheds in preventative and community-based health at a national level.
You’ll be the main contact for volunteers, Sheds and Shed Networks for all things related to Sheds and men’s health and wellbeing.
Key responsibilities:
1. Sheds and Shed Networks
· Be the main point of contact for all Sheds and Shed Networks for all things related to Sheds and men’s health and wellbeing – ensuring you are approachable, responsive and consistent.
· Empower volunteers and colleagues to support Sheds and Shed Networks to foster partnerships with local health and social care organisations.
· Empower volunteers, colleagues and the wider Shed community to support local health and social care organisations to understand and engage effectively with Men’s Sheds in their area.
2. Information and resources
· Work with volunteers, colleagues and external experts as part of the UKMSA Advisory and Guidance Group to continuously gather, develop and update relevant resources, information and case studies related to men’s health and wellbeing. Regularly share clear and accessible information and resources with Sheds and Shed Networks.
· Work with volunteers, colleagues and external experts as part of the UKMSA Advisory and Guidance Group to build knowledge and understanding of relevant organisations and services related to men’s health and wellbeing. Regularly share clear and accessible information about organisations and services with Sheds and Shed Networks.
· Work with Sheds and volunteers to gather case studies and develop resources highlighting Sheds that demonstrate innovation and best practice in the field of health and wellbeing.
3. Training and workshops
· Work with volunteers, colleagues and external partners to develop an empowering train the trainer model to enable Shed Leaders and Shedders to plan, deliver and evaluate training and workshops related to men’s health and wellbeing.
· Work with volunteers, colleagues and external partners to co-design and deliver training and workshops related to men’s health and wellbeing at UKMSA events.
· Support peer-to-peer learning amongst Sheds and Shed Networks through regional events, online forums, and learning networks.
4. Digital health and wellbeing
· Work with volunteers and colleagues to test and empower Sheds and Shed Networks to use digital platforms for hybrid training, remote participation, or digital inclusion efforts.
- Work with volunteers and colleagues to utilise and adapt data tools (e.g. CRM, health analytics and dashboards) for monitoring health and wellbeing related outcomes and for reporting impact.
5. Monitoring and Reporting
· Work with volunteers, Sheds and Shed Networks to collect and report data in relation to men’s health and wellbeing to demonstrate the role and impact of Men’s Sheds in preventative and community-based health.
· Work with volunteers, colleagues, Sheds and Shed Networks to contribute to relevant evaluation and research projects relating to Sheds and men’s health and wellbeing.
6. Stakeholder Engagement
- Work with volunteers to build relationships with local and regional health, community, and voluntary sector organisations.
- Represent UKMSA at relevant networks, events, and conferences.
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of the annual Shedfest and other key events, coordinating and supporting volunteer involvement in relation to men’s health and wellbeing.
- Work with colleagues, including the CEO, to build effective working partnerships across the UK men’s health sector
Key expertise required:
- Knowledge, skills and experience in men’s health and wellbeing.
- Some knowledge of how to effectively improve men’s health and wellbeing in the Shedding context, and a willingness and interest in working with volunteers to develop and share expertise in this area.
- An understanding of the importance of taking an empowering train the trainer approach to planning, delivering and evaluating training and workshops related to men’s health and wellbeing.
- Ability to build relationships with local and regional health, community, and voluntary sector organisations, and to support others to do so.
- Skilled at actively collaborating with volunteers and subject matter experts.
- Confident communicator - able to build rapport, deliver training, and manage sensitive conversations.
· Strong relationship builder - able to connect with people, build trust and maintain long term engagement.
· Willing, able and confident to travel to meet volunteers and attend Shed events regularly.

What the job involves
Prostate Cancer UK offers a range of services to support men affected by prostate cancer and their loved ones. These include a multi-channel helpline, printed and online health information, 1:1 peer support and an online community.
We’re looking for a Support Services Innovation Manager to join us in an exciting new role, focused on growing the services’ reach, personalisation and variety, and helping them respond to key challenges. These include rising prostate cancer rates, more complex care pathways and treatments, shifting expectations around healthcare, and rapid changes in online behaviour due to evolving consumer-facing AI technology.
We’re also in the process of developing an ambitious new 10-year strategy for the charity, and you’ll play a key role in setting the terms for how we approach service development across this horizon. You'll carry out a discovery phase to explore the internal and external factors shaping our services, followed by a summary report with recommendations for innovation. Drawing on these insights, you’ll deliver and evaluate innovation use cases, ranging from MVPs to ready-to-implement solutions.
Alongside specific deliverables, you'll play a broader role across the Support Services team, spotting opportunities for innovation across service delivery, supporting business case development, and helping build our capability to evaluate service impact. You’ll use data to shape recommendations, foster an innovation mindset, and support colleagues to experiment, test and learn. You’ll also strengthen collaboration with the Technology team, help shape our long-term innovation approach, and ensure our work is informed by sector insights and shared effectively across the organisation.

To be successful in this role you’ll bring hands-on experience in service innovation and design, with a solid understanding of co-production and co-design principles. You’ll be familiar with navigating both agile and waterfall approaches to project delivery.
You’ll know how to use data to tell compelling stories, demonstrate impact, and uncover opportunities, and you’ll be able to clearly communicate the value of innovation to a wide range of stakeholders. You’ll also be skilled at coaching and training colleagues to adopt innovation processes and mindsets.
A confident self-starter, you’ll work independently to a high standard and manage your time effectively across both short- and long-term priorities. An understanding of service delivery in a healthcare context is essential, along with the ability to think strategically and ensure innovation aligns with the bigger picture.

The CEO needs to be a strategic leader who can inspire and manage teams, drive fundraising and financial sustainability, and represent the organisation to stakeholders. You will need to be capable of building relationships, fostering a positive organisational culture and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
You will work with the Chair of the Board of Trustees (Chair) and the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to formulate and regularly review the organisation's mission and strategic plan. You will develop deep and trusting relationships with the Community we serve as well as with a wide range of external stakeholders and funders who can support the ideas generated from within the community.

At a more operational level you will work with the SLT to develop operational plans and key performance indicators (KPI) to ensure that GL11 can always demonstrate the value it brings to the community and wider stakeholder network.

Role Summary
Our Communications Officer plays a key role in our central Communications team, working collaboratively with colleagues to create impactful messages which are consistent, clear and well-framed. Through this work, you’ll support thousands of people across three key work programmes – Behaviour Change, Culture Shift and Information and Advice. You’ll have a particular focus on supporting people to share their experiences by working empathetically to gather and develop a diverse range of compelling personal stories on alcohol and alcohol harm, and working with colleagues to bring them to life across our channels. You’ll also play a key role in supporting the Senior Communications Manager with messaging across emails, our website and other digital channels. You will have responsibility for wider tasks across the team, including monitoring inboxes, creating reports and supporting colleagues flexibly, particularly during busier campaign periods.

About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join UKCF at a time of growth, ambition and innovation. We are looking for an interim Partnerships Officer to help us build and deliver impactful national partnerships that bring real, measurable benefits to communities across the UK.
Initially for a period of six months, you will hit the ground running to pick up an existing portfolio of national programmes currently under delivery. In this client facing role, you will be responsible for administration and operational support in the development, delivery, and evaluation of high-value, strategic partnerships, whether with government departments, major trusts and foundations, corporate partners, or other longstanding partners.
You’ll work closely with the Director of Partnerships & Insight and community foundations to deliver an existing portfolio of programmes and to shape strong proposals and administer the end-to-end implementation of new partnerships.
You’ll also play a key role in helping UKCF and the wider network become more insight-led and data-driven, strengthening our approach to programme design, learning, and impact evaluation.
This role requires exceptional organisational, programme and project management skills. Experience in a trust or foundation, grantmaking, especially within programme design, is a bonus.
You will report to the Director of Partnerships & Insight and also work closely with the wider team including finance, membership and communications staff.
Key responsibilities

Programme delivery and administration – Support the smooth running of national partnerships and programmes, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard. Maintain accurate financial and programme records, track deadlines, and make sure monitoring and reporting requirements are met.

Reporting and insight – Analyse programme data and contribute to clear, high-quality reports for funders, partners, and internal teams. Capture learning and examples of good practice to strengthen future programmes.

ROLE SUMMARY
Reporting to the Director of Partnerships & Insight, this role is central to the effective day-to-day running of UKCF’s national partnerships and grant programmes. You will play a key role in keeping programmes on schedule and within budget, with strong administration and attention to detail at the heart of the position. At the same time, you will build and maintain positive working relationships with funders, community foundations, and colleagues across UKCF, acting as a reliable point of contact and ensuring information flows smoothly. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Under the supervision of the Director of Partnerships & Insight ensure the partnerships and programmes are delivered on time and in budget.

Administer the partnerships and programmes, keeping accurate records of funding allocated, spending by Community Foundations, and collating monitoring reports etc.

Analyse partnership and programme data and contribute to reports for funders and internal teams.

The Trusts and Foundations Fundraising Officer will work alongside the Head of Income, Partnerships and Communications to help deliver Rising Sun’s fundraising targets during this exciting period of growth for the charity.
The main focus of the role is finding, attracting and stewarding new funders to help deliver Rising Sun’s life changing services. You will write compelling funding proposals that demonstrate the impact of our services and how we meet funders’ requirements. You will build strong relationships with grant officers from various foundations, providing regular updates and communicating challenges, solutions and successes as appropriate to develop our reputation as an effective, reliable and trustworthy organisation. Alongside this you will be nurturing our existing portfolio of funders to help prioritise multi-year funding.
Working with you in the Fundraising Team will be the Head of Income, Partnerships and Communications, Trusts and Foundations Officer, Community Fundraising Officer and Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Team. As part of the team you will help to develop fundraising materials such as case studies, impact reports and cases for support.
We are looking for a proactive and organised individual who loves building and nurturing relationships and has a passion for fundraising. In addition, you will have excellent writing skills and experience of generating income from trusts and foundations to grow our income from this stream. As part of our committed team of approximately 50 staff, you will be contributing to the invaluable work of the Rising Sun and making a lasting difference to the lives of those who have experienced domestic abuse.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and manage part of Rising Sun’s portfolio of income and fundraising activities related to trusts and foundations.
- Keep the trusts and foundations stream of the funding pipeline healthy and up to date, carrying out research into new opportunities and meeting application deadlines.
- Write compelling funding applications that answer funders’ questions and effectively communicate the mission, services and impact of Rising Sun.
- Develop appropriate fundraising tools, such as cases for support and impact reports.
- Support the Head of Income, Partnerships and Communications to write bids for commissioned services and government funding opportunities.
- Liaise internally across the organisation to become familiar with our services and stay up to date with current trends to feed into funding applications and develop project proposals.
- Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including survivors and grant officers.
- Be responsible for the management of successful trusts and foundations grant agreements and reporting requirements, working with the wider team to gather information and data as required.

Main purpose of post
An Appeal Support Officer is required to support the activity associated with a
major appeal for the charity. The appeal will raise £1.85m enabling a step change
in our support of Weston Park Cancer Centre.
Reporting to and working closely with our Senior Major Donor & Philanthropy
Manager, Appeal Consultant and Head of Fundraising, you will support the
coordination of appeal activity planning, as we undertake the public phase of the
appeal.
Supporting our established Appeal Board, you will coordinate communications,
prospecting and stewardship management of our major donor growth
programme and portfolio, as we build up both our private fundraising phase and
undertake our wider public fundraising activity.
You will help bring together a range of different public fundraising activities

Key Responsibilities
Support management of the appeal prospects portfolio, including research,
due diligence checks, profiles development and relationship management

Coordinate and manage the appeal plan, including all facets of both the
