We are looking for a fantastic leader to join the KWMC Executive team and help us evolve as an organisation. We have been founder-led since 1996 and now, with CEO Carolyn Hassan’s retirement in March 2024, we are entering a new chapter; one that will both celebrate KWMC’s legacy of community led change-making and evolve to embrace new possibilities.
We are looking for a co-leader who works with generosity and care to make amazing things happen. We hope to welcome someone who brings extensive experience of developing innovative financial, business and operational models for mission and values-led organisations. You will work alongside Creative Co-Director, Martha King, to co-lead KWMC through a process of refocusing and on into the future.

Head of Marketing and Communications
Salary: £52,915.20 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Duration: Permanent
Location: Hybrid - Remote working with requirement to regularly work from HQ in Exeter or any other Devon Air Ambulance premises.
The Role
We have a rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced marketing and communications leader to join the Devon Air Ambulance team and help us tell our story.
Supported by a team of six, and working across the charity, the role will design and deliver marketing and communications strategies to support our mission, vision and strategic aims.
From developing our digital marketing across social media and a new website, to implementing a new visual identity, to underpinning our fundraising activities with creative and compelling communications, the breadth of this role provides a unique opportunity for someone to make a significant contribution to our ongoing success.
The Candidate
We’re looking for an outstanding marketing and communications leader who is strategically minded and delivery focused. They will be able to lead and develop an existing team and be adept at building and maintaining productive working relationships. They will seek out new opportunities to add value to existing activity and develop new ventures in collaboration with colleagues from a diverse range of different disciplines across the organisation. The ideal candidate will bring experience from a charity background and be used to supporting a broad portfolio of income generating activities. They will also be as comfortable leading communications internally as they are externally.
The Package
Salary: £52,915.20 per annum.

The PPASS service aims to improve and enhance the West Glamorgan regional advocacy network by creating a new form of peer advocacy and peer support for parents who are going through the child protection process, statutory assessment and/or the looked after children system within the Neath, Port Talbot and Swansea area.
Main duties
⦁ To provide an advocacy service for parents who are going through the child protection process, statutory assessment and/or the looked after children system
⦁ Provide advocacy support, to clients which may include accompanying clients to meetings, or support in writing letter to represent and/or negotiate on their behalf as requested.
⦁ To work in such a way as to encourage clients to self-advocate as much as possible via training/coaching/rehearsing
⦁ To provide clear information to enable clients to understand their rights and to make informed choices on options available to them
⦁ Undertaking promotional activities across West Glamorgan to promote the service in line with an agreed promotional plan.
⦁ Attending various meetings as requested by the council which may relate to promoting, reviewing and evaluating the service.
⦁ To make and maintain secure, accurate and confidential case records
⦁ To maintain contacts in the community
⦁ Work alongside the peer support workers to provide a wrap-around service for the clients.
In conjunction with the manager actively develop and maintain links with other advocacy groups within Neath, Port Talbot and Swansea.

We are recruiting for an enthusiastic and proactive individual to join our Finance Team in the role of Finance Assistant.
The Finance Assistant supports all aspects of the Hallé’s work at the Bridgewater Hall, the Hallé Venues and concert halls across the UK.
The Finance Assistant works in a department currently comprising Finance Director, Finance Manager, Assistant Finance Manager and Finance Assistant.
The department is responsible for all aspects of the financial affairs of the Society and its related trusts. The Finance Assistant is responsible to the Assistant Finance Manager.
They take responsibility for processing the day-to-day transactions of the company across purchase ledger, sales ledger and the cash book, and ensure the smooth operation of the office. They will also need to work collaboratively with colleagues across the wider Hallé as well as with external customers and suppliers.
The post is full-time permanent based on a 36.25-hour week. Our core office hours are 09.00-17:15, from Monday to Friday. There is an option to work up to 50% of hours from home.
Consideration will be given to applicants wanting to work part-time at an appropriate level to meet the requirements of the role.
