Job description

Our client supports children and young people up to the age of 25 when someone important to them has died or is not expected to live, and parents and families when a baby or child dies or is dying. Alongside this direct support, the organisation provides high-quality training to professionals across health, education, emergency services, and the corporate and voluntary sectors. Prospectus are delighted to be supporting with their search for an interim Major Gifts & Special Events Fundraiser (4 days a week).

This integral role will provide essential short-term support across major donor stewardship and the delivery of high-profile fundraising events. The postholder will help maintain strong relationships with major supporters, ensure timely and personalised communication, and support the planning and delivery of two flagship events, along with other key fundraising activities.

Candidates will need proven experience in charity fundraising, preferably with major donors and high-value events, alongside strong communication, organisational and relationship-building skills. They must be confident working both independently and within a busy team, able to prioritise effectively, and comfortable managing multiple tasks at pace.

£33,000 pro rata
Fixed contract until 31 May 2026
Part time - 4 days a week
Remote with occasional visits to High Wycombe
