About the role:

This role involves both face to face and virtual support in a hybrid model of working. There is an expectation that you will do a mixture of working from home, our office near Old Street and in co-location at Kings College Hospital. You will:

• Implement effective ways of working with victims to increase safety & reduce harm
• Provide a high-quality, front-line service to victims of domestic abuse
• Work within a multi-agency framework consisting of the MARAC and local partnership responses to domestic abuse
• Run group training sessions & share your specialist knowledge with acute staff across the hospital

You will need:

• knowledge of help-seeking barriers & support needs of victims of domestic abuse

This tole is based in Cumbria. Turning the Spotlight is a busy service supporting families experiencing domestic abuse including perpetrators. You will manage case workers and facilitators in our dedicated healthy relationships programme.

We're excited to partner with one of London's leading universities to seek a temporary Study Abroad and Partnership Officer. In this full-time role (35 hours per week), you'll provide crucial administrative support during a busy period. Initially, the position will run for 2 months with potential for extension.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Behaviourist (Clinical Behaviour Services) to work on providing an internal referral service for behavioural medicine, recommending treatment protocols, monitoring patient progress, and assisting with more complex cases as required.

What does this role involve?

As Veterinary Behaviourist you’ll:

• Work with the Community Clinical Animal Behaviour and post-adoption support teams in devising the optimal behaviour rehabilitation strategy for dogs in their care while liaising with external veterinary practices as required to support the work of clinical teams.
• Support and advise staff across Dogs Trust on matters relating to psychoactive medication and links between disease, physiology and behavioural signs, under the direction of the Head of Clinical Behaviour Services.
• Provide behaviour consultations to owned dogs with behaviour problems especially those with a medical component that requires specialist input.
• Assist with staff training through workshops, clinical case reviews, mentorship and conferences.

About you:

With a good knowledge of dog behaviour, training and welfare you will have a veterinary qualification with postgraduate experience as a veterinary surgeon. With basic knowledge of statistical methods and ability to evaluate published research you will have enthusiasm for professional development, research and developing specialist skills in veterinary behavioural medicine.

The role of the Clinical Behaviour Services team is to provide clinical behaviour services for members of the public including adopters of Dogs Trust dogs and in association with Dog School.

We are seeking a for a new Director & Head of Legal Practice to take forward this unique, niche Law Centre.  There is an opportunity for expanding the work of the Law Centre and showcasing the worth of health justice partnerships.We are looking for an energetic and compassionate lawyer with a broad experience of either housing or community care casework and representation, who is capable of being a legal aid category supervisor in either area, who has the confidence to lead the team and to develop it so that we can continue to make a real difference within the community.

Qualifications and experience

1. 5 years’ PQE qualified lawyer, with demonstrable experience of management at a senior level.
2. Ability to meet the supervisor for the Legal Aid Agency contract in either housing or community care.

We are looking for a full time Peer Engagement Practitioner.

This is an innovative new service, integrating the expertise, skills and knowledge of the network in Barnet with NHS Mental Health services. The purpose of the role is to provide peer led psycho-social support to clients, working within specialist Mental Health teams and the VCS delivery partners. This role will also serve to enhance the work of the MH teams, and other practitioners within the service, to ensure it remains clients focused, recovery informed, and embedded with experience led practice.

The role will carry an active caseload, working with clients to determine their recovery needs, identifying resources available within the community, providing expert advice and support, facilitating recovery focused peer support groups, and contributing to the development of new community resources.

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Mind CHWF to join our Facilities team as a Receptionist and Administrative Assistant.

As a crucial part of the Facilities team, you will be the face of the organisation welcoming clients, visitors and fellow staff members, ensuring that the central reception function, including facilities runs smoothly. You will be responsible for telephone calls to the main reception, ensuring call are answered in an efficient and polite  manner and messages are relayed. You will also provide effective administrative and facilities support whilst making sure that the reception area is the optimal working environment for all.

This is a unique opportunity to lead their financial strategy and operations, making a significant impact on a cause that truly matters.

This part-time role offers a flexible schedule of 19 hours per week, spread over 3 to 4 days, with a requirement to attend the office at least once a month and participate in occasional evening Trustee meetings. As a Finance Controller, you will support the management team and finance committee by utilizing financial information to effectively plan and administer services. Your responsibilities will include managing the contract for outsourced day-to-day financial operations and overseeing our fundholding relationships. You will also use business intelligence tools to develop dashboards that deliver insightful data for strategic decision-making and perform trend analysis to optimise financial decisions.

The role involves ensuring the provision of accurate and comprehensive financial management information across the organisation, collaborating on developing budgets and financial reports for both current and potential funders, identifying risks, contributing to successful audits, and maximising cost recovery on restricted contracts.
