We're seeking an exceptional Programme Manager to lead Autistic and OK through its next exciting chapter until August 2028. • Proven experience in planning, delivering, and evaluating complex, multi-stakeholder programmes.
• Demonstrated ability to scale national programmes (ideally within education, mental health, participation or inclusion).
• Understanding of major policies, initiatives and legislation relating to education and related statutory services in the SEN sector.
• Skilled at forming and sustaining strategic relationships with partners across education, health and the voluntary sector.

CSAN is the official agency of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference, tackling the root causes of poverty and injustice affecting people in England and Wales. We’re facing a steep rise in poverty and significant pressures on social, economic and church resources. At this time, the Church is called to raise a prophetic voice against poverty and the rhetoric of division and work for the building of a more just society.

In 2021, CSAN launched its strategy to extend the social mission of the Church in a post-COVID society. We are developing the infrastructure of the social action network of the Church in England and Wales, including new alliances for diocesan Caritas agencies, advocacy and migration. As our Senior Officer for Migration, you will help to raise awareness of migration issues from the perspective of Catholic Social Teaching and lead on our Ambassadors Programme against Human Trafficking and Modern Slavery, as well as prepare briefings and campaign responses to Government legislation.

Over the last 20 years, CSAN has established a network of 50 diocesan and direct service charities, with a combined annual expenditure on social mission estimated at £400m, excluding the work of schools and religious congregations. Our members build up local community life in diverse ways, and many of them support individuals in difficulty, including with housing, prison and detention, social isolation, ill-health, violence, disability, employment, care, therapeutic and welfare support.

The key responsibilities of the Senior Migration Officer are:

1. To provide timely information to the CSAN team and the network on UK Government resettlement programmes and legislation on immigration.

2. To support CSAN’s work to improve public policy and practice on immigration, with compelling evidence from our network, and enabling effective participation in advocacy for a humane system.

3. To work closely with the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of England and Wales on issues of migration and human trafficking.

4. To lead the implementation of the Gubay-

funded CSAN Ambassadors against Human Trafficking programme, preparing and delivering programme materials.

5. To support cross-cutting key workstreams and alliances in CSAN, especially the Domestic Abuse alliance and racial justice, in partnership with the Bishops’ Conference.

The work of the small national team requires a high level of integrity and teamwork, respect for and capacity to navigate complex civil and church contexts at pace, and a stable commitment to personal formation and training. The Criminal Justice Services Manager will manage and develop all aspects of Birth Companions’ criminal justice-based services and line-manage the criminal justice services Coordinators, (currently three staff members but this likely to increase as we expand our services).

They will develop and maintain strategic partnerships with other relevant agencies and ensure the successful delivery of services through internal monitoring and evaluation, external evaluation and the charity’s governance structures.

The Criminal Justice Services Manager will be responsible for contributing to the development and implementation of new prison and wider criminal justice system-based services through stakeholder engagement and service design where opportunities are identified.

The Criminal Justice Services Manager will also contribute to the policy, engagement and strategic work of the organisation where appropriate.

This is an opportunity to join Refuge as an IGVA supporting women and children who are impacted by different strands of Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG). The independent gender violence advocate will work closely with victims of gender-based violence from the point of crisis, to provide high quality independent advocacy and support to survivors of gender-based violence at the highest risk and their children.

The role will be part of increasing the ability of partner agencies to recognise, reject and respond appropriately and safely to all forms of gender-based violence (including domestic violence, sexual, financial and emotional abuse, female genital mutilation, forced marriage and honour-based violence). The job involves working within a multi-agency framework consisting of the MARAC and local partnership protocols and procedures that prioritise the safety of survivors. The post holder will empower survivors by providing them with emotional, practical and personal welfare support. This is an exciting time to be at Battersea at the start of a new five-year strategy for the charity as it seeks to scale up and deliver new services and partnerships that will help it in its mission to help more dogs and cats, creating lasting change for animals and those who care for them, wherever they are. Earned media and PR is crucial to help Battersea build its visibility awareness, and relevance to new and existing audiences to support engagement with our strategic aims. The PR team play a key part in telling our story, shifting public attitudes, and generating support.

We need a confident, dynamic and enthusiastic Press / Media Officer to help us drive visibility, affinity, and relevance amongst new and existing audiences. They will ensure Battersea maintains a high profile and strong, influential voice by working closely with the media and delivering quality proactive and reactive media activity that supports the charity’s strategic aims to help more animals. This role will focus on promoting the work Battersea is doing to help animals not just at our three centres, but also across the UK and overseas.

Responsibilities will include responding to press enquiries and working with production teams, as well as supporting the wider Marketing & Communications directorate on the delivery of integrated campaigns and PR plans that support our animal welfare campaigning (Our Voice), our brand platform ‘We’re all in for them’, our global programmes strategy, our income generation activity, and our sector and corporate partnerships.

This role presents opportunity to work innovatively & responsively, creating new, unique, & informative LGBT+ affirmative resources, crisis support, prevention & wellbeing initiatives; along with having a developmental role in upskilling & supervising sessional staff, trainees, interns & volunteers. 

This is an exciting job opportunity to join a dynamic & committed team, in a key frontline role working directly within our Heads-Out mental health service, which provides individualised mental health plans, crisis safety plans, mental wellbeing workshops, varied mental health support groups including for those seeking asylum, a trans & non-binary group; LGBTQ+ mental health social connections & activities group, and drop-in support.

Opportunities will include delivery of specialised interventions, taking direct referrals and helping to support & stabilise those at heightened risk and/ or living through mental health crisis, plus psychoeducation workshops and group programmes will further enable you to engage, empower & support participants to build confidence, develop skills, strategies & achieve goals to improve, maintain & best manage mental health, increase mental wellbeing, and reduce and/ or prevent future crisis.

elop is a  London based thriving community-led LGBT+ mental health & wellbeing charity offering a range of support, advice, information, counselling, and group support services to lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans (LGBT+) communities. 

There will be one regular evening/ week and occasional weekend working required.

NB: Initially there will be some remote home-based working alongside office-based working whilst we relocate to new premises
