We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Children and Young People’s Support Worker (C+YPSW) to join our refuge team and help create a safe, nurturing and empowering environment for children and families affected by domestic abuse.
You will deliver trauma-informed, child-centred support, ensuring that safeguarding, wellbeing and recovery are at the heart of everything you do.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Provide one-to-one emotional and practical support to children and young people.
- Complete assessments, safety planning and support plans.
- Deliver age-appropriate activities and holiday playschemes.
- Work closely with Family Support Workers and partner agencies.
- Identify, record and respond to safeguarding concerns.
- Support mothers to ensure children’s needs are met.
What We’re Looking For
- You will need to have experience of working with children, a Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare, and a Paediatric First Aid qualification
- Full UK driving licence held for a minimum of two years (insurance requirement for use of work vehicles)
- Experience working with children and young people, ideally within domestic abuse, safeguarding or trauma-informed services
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection
- Ability to build trusting, professional relationships
- Good record-keeping and IT skills
- Commitment to equality, diversity and survivor-centred practice

This is an exciting opportunity oversee the development, fulfilment, and delivery of the charity’s new and existing fundraising products, helping to achieve the highest levels of engagement from both new and existing supporters.
Key responsibilities:
- To be responsible and accountable for the fulfilment and delivery of fundraising products, both within the Legacies and Products team, and the wider organisation
- To be responsible for development and delivery of product development roadmaps and project -level management information for new and existing products
- Create and populate numerical reports and models which communicate current and potential product performance. These will evaluate achievement, forecast results and analyse data, helping stakeholders at all levels understand success
- Support in the management of the Products team’s budget, particularly with the raising of purchase orders, processing of invoices, and securing quotes from suppliers
- To be a subject expert on fundraising products, maximising income by sharing knowledge, specialist expertise, best practice, and experience with others across the organisation
To be successful, you will need or need to be:
- Highly developed written communication skills to understand, interpret and present complex information in a clear and persuasive way for a range of audiences.
- Highly developed ability to verbally present information, including fundraising ideas, pitches and project updates to a range of audiences in a clear, inspiring and confident way to achieve desired outcomes.
- Ability to collate complex numerical and financial data from various sources, analyse findings present them in an easily digestible format
- Excellent time management skills, regularly managing conflicting priorities and working to deadlines for multiple products, projects, and campaigns.
- Proven ability to think creatively and innovatively both in solving problems, project management and in the development of product innovation.

Purpose of the role:
Seasonal Worker Scheme (SWS) call handlers will be responsible for responding to a variety of forms of contact made through the SWS support line. You will work as part of a small but dynamic and friendly team responding to a variety of callers and contacts. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include answering incoming calls and contacts, making callouts, sending emails, drafting referrals to external agencies, and maintaining accurate data. You will form part of a triage service that will signpost callers and contacts to identified third parties who can deal appropriately with their enquiry. You will ensure all actions and data are recorded accurately and promptly to aid relevant follow up and close out of issues. You will be person-centred and deal with a variety of worker issues, including dealing with workers who may be in situations of exploitation. SWS call handlers will report directly to the Worker Wellbeing Manager within our Business Services Team.

We are looking for a highly skilled and thoughtful Senior Product Officer to play a key role in developing, delivering and improving a wide portfolio of fundraising products. Sitting within the Engagement and Fundraising directorate, you will support and lead on the development and fulfilment of new and existing fundraising products—from regular giving and lotteries to digital propositions and innovative new ideas.
