We have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as an Individual Giving Marketing Senior Executive. We need you to support the development of supporter acquisition and retention campaigns across the Individual Giving (IG) marketing function to achieve the relevant product objective for Fundraising & Marketing. You'll support the Individual Giving Marketing Manager to deliver the marketing plan, meeting and exceeding KPIs, to time and budget. You'll be part of a team implementing our strategy to grow our regular giving audience by delivering an exciting portfolio of multi-channel and supporter-centric campaigns.
What will I be doing?
Leading on the delivery of campaign set up, development and launch across multiple channels (including ALT digital channels, telemarketing, direct mail, email, social)
Translating cross-channel integrated briefs into production specific briefs, leading on the delivery of data and digital campaign set-up requirements in collaboration with a number of internal teams
Taking responsibility for the content and creative production process, working with internal and external stakeholders to develop compelling creative across a range of channels
Leading on in-campaign reporting and post-campaign analysis, sharing recommendations for optimisation and to improve the effectiveness of future campaigns
Working with UX experts to devise pre-launch test and learn initiatives, using results to recommend areas for optimisation
With Marketing Executive support, leading on all aspects of campaign delivery including direct mail production and new supporter letter fulfilment
Keeping the marketing activity plan up to date and ensuring upcoming campaigns and activity are being briefed in to the correct teams in advance taking into account team SLAs
Being a marketing expert for the relevant product function, mentoring and upskilling 1 Marketing Executive.
What skills are you looking for?
Relevant experience of delivering multi-channel campaigns, from planning through to execution and analysis, that meet campaign KPIs
Good understanding of end-to-end supporter journeys and the role of different channels in fully integrated campaigns
Experience of managing and motivating agencies to drive maximum value from relationships

Commercially aware with experience of budget management
Data-driven with a good understanding of UX principles and experience of interpreting results and recommending opportunities for optimisation

You will also spend up to one day a week as a practitioner based in a local SA church or other SA community setting.

Location details: This role has a national remit with expectation that the successful candidate will be able to work across the UKI territory. UK-Med is an NGO providing emergency health support in times of crisis and humanitarian emergencies. We provide clinical support, as well as training and capacity building for health professionals around the world, with particular focus on countries vulnerable to natural disasters, outbreaks or with weakened health systems due to complex emergencies. As the principal partner of the UK Emergency Medical Team (UK EMT), we work closely with FCDO and the WHO, but we are also growing our own programmes. Our work has never been more vital, with disease outbreaks and disasters becoming more frequent, complex and severe.
Following a period of considerable growth in size and complexity of UK-Med’s capacity building portfolio we are seeking an experienced humanitarian leader to join our team in this pivotal role. Our portfolio continues to grow at pace with current priorities and projects covering training and preparation of emergency response staff, developing and consolidating our simulation exercise capability, piloting remote capacity building and TeleHealth, partnering with peer Emergency Medical Teams for capacity building and supporting university programmes.
The Deputy Director of Capacity Building will work with key internal and external stakeholders on successfully delivering UK-Med’s capacity building portfolio, develop and implement effective systems and procedures for training delivery and monitoring, and lead a team of talented training and capacity building professionals from various backgrounds. About you:
We are looking for a confident fundraiser who thrives on developing new opportunities and is self-motivated and pro-active.
We would like you to have at least three years’ experience in fundraising with corporates and/or trusts and foundations, or have demonstrable transferable skills, particularly around networking/new business and writing proposals. About the Role
This is a pivotal role at the heart of the Charity, offering a unique opportunity to work closely with the CEO of a dynamic and life-saving Charity. As Executive Assistant to the CEO, you will provide comprehensive, high-quality executive support that enables the CEO to focus on strategic priorities, external engagement, and organisational leadership. You’ll be a trusted advisor and gatekeeper, anticipating needs, streamlining communications, and ensuring the CEO’s time is used effectively.
In addition, you will act as the Company Secretary, supporting the Charity’s governance framework, maintaining statutory compliance, and ensuring effective administration of the Board of Trustees and its subcommittees. There will also be the opportunity for Project Management.
Success in this role will require someone who is highly organised, discreet, and proactive, with high levels of integrity and resilience. You’ll need to be comfortable working at pace, able to manage competing priorities, and confident communicating with a wide range of stakeholders including Trustees, crew, funders, MPs and members of the public. This is more than just an administrative role – it’s a trusted strategic support position for someone who is passionate about making a difference and who thrives in a values-driven, purpose-led environment.

Job Purpose
To plan, deliver, and evaluate a diverse range of fundraising events, while developing and enhancing the existing annual events portfolio in line with agreed income and expenditure targets. The role is key to generating vital income and raising awareness for Salisbury Hospice, while contributing to the events marketing and communications strategy to increase supporter engagement, secure sponsorship opportunities, and enhance public awareness of the charity.
Key Responsibilities
Events Fundraising
- Develop and deliver the annual income target with the Director of Fundraising & Marketing.
- Plan and deliver a diverse programme of fundraising events (e.g., community events, challenge events, gala dinners, seasonal campaigns).
- Work with colleagues and volunteers to ensure events are delivered on time, on budget, and to a high standard.
- Develop event plans including logistics, budgets, risk assessments, and contingency planning.
- Secure sponsorship, in-kind support and partnerships to maximise income and reduce costs.
- Recruit, brief and manage volunteers and event-day staff.
- Track event income and expenditure, providing regular reports to the Fundraising Manager.
- Support the promotion of the annual sports and challenge event activities.
Marketing and Promotion
- In partnership with the marketing team, develop and implement marketing campaigns for fundraising events across digital, print and media platforms.
- Work closely with the communications team to develop engaging content, including press releases, social media posts, website updates, and email marketing.
- Build relationships with local media and community groups to maximise event exposure. Distribute event marketing materials across the local community.
Supporter Engagement and Stewardship
- Deliver exceptional supporter care, ensuring all event participants, donors, sponsors and volunteers feel valued and informed.
- Develop supporter journeys and post-event stewardship communications to encourage long-term engagement.
- Maintain accurate supporter records on the CRM database and comply with GDPR and data protection policies.
Person Specification
Essential:
- Proven, extensive experience in planning and delivering successful fundraising or public events.
- Demonstrated success in generating income while effectively managing budgets.
- Knowledge of marketing principles and experience in delivering multi-channel promotional campaigns.
- Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Confident in using social media, digital marketing tools and basic design platforms (e.g., Canva, Facebook and Instagram).

Role purpose
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Head Fundraiser to lead efforts in securing financial support to continue our vital humanitarian work.
