CEO Role Summary:
The CEO provides strategic leadership, ensuring high-quality inclusive arts provision whilst overseeing operations, staff, fundraising, compliance and partnerships. They act as the organisation’s ambassador and contribute to the planning and delivery of both our charitable and business orientated objectives, reporting directly to the Board of Trustees.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic, Leadership and Planning -
· Lead organisation, strategic management and business development

Operations and Compliance -
· Oversee facilities, H&S compliance and sustainability
· Incorporate all Charity Commission and Companies House updates
· Maintain tenancy relationship with Barnet Council
· Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead and Data Protection Officer (ICO)
· Ensure all risk assessments and safeguarding incidents are documented
Finance and Governance -
· Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and financial reports
· Oversee financial control, resource efficiency, and long-term planning
· Lead on new business income generation strategies, including art sales
· Report financial and strategic performance to the Board of Trustees quarterly
· Ensure timely delivery of board papers and assist trustees/directors development
Personal Specification

About the role
You’ll be responsible for the operational delivery of newly diagnosed activities and events. You’ll contribute to planning, monitoring, reviewing and taking action to maintain quality research.
You’ll work collaboratively with volunteers and staff to ensure the smooth running of our offer, to inspire people newly diagnosed with Parkinson’s, their family, friends and partners, to face the future positively.
What you’ll do:

Manage the operational delivery of the Newly Diagnosed programme working collaboratively with the Newly Diagnosed Volunteer Support Officer and local teams.

Maintain monitoring, evaluation and reporting, using data and insights from the programme and other teams and directorates.

The role
This is a key role in ensuring the smooth operational delivery of a wide range of training programmes and workshops, both online and in person, for early career researchers across the UK and internationally.
We are looking for an effective communicator and team player, confident in liaising with internal and external stakeholders, including training providers, course participants, network members, and partner organisations. You will take responsibility for coordinating event logistics, maintaining participant records, preparing communications, and ensuring that training materials are kept up to date and accessible.
A core duty of the role will be supporting the delivery of engaging and inclusive training opportunities, helping to identify and address the diverse needs of participants. This will involve working collaboratively to improve processes, providing feedback on participant experiences, and contributing to the development of new training initiatives. About the role:
The postholder will support the delivery of a specialist domestic abuse (DA) project in partnership with Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust (CLCH) in the London borough of Brent. The role aims to raise awareness and promote best practice in responding to domestic abuse across CLCH staff, improving support for patients impacted by domestic abuse. This will involve delivering training, workshops, and guidance to health professionals, providing consultancy on embedding DA response pathways, and helping CLCH navigate referrals to local domestic abuse support agencies. The role combines professional training, advocacy, and systems change to strengthen the health sector’s response to domestic abuse. The postholder will work across the Brent borough, attending community hubs and co-locating to deliver services when needed.
The postholder may be approached by staff seeking advice or consultation regarding male victims of domestic abuse. While the role’s primary focus remains on supporting women, the postholder will be open to supporting male victims through appropriate signposting and referral guidance. They will also be willing to undertake relevant training (e.g. Respect toolkit) to ensure inclusive and informed responses. Training will be provided.

About You:
To be successful as the Domestic Abuse Advisor & Trainer you will need the below experience and skills:
- A thorough understanding of the dynamics of domestic violence (physical, emotional and sexual violence, so-called ‘honour-based violence’, forced marriage, stalking and harassment) and its impact on women, children, families and communities.
- Experience in designing, delivering, and promoting engaging training and learning sessions on domestic abuse, tailored to professionals and stakeholders across a variety of settings.
- Experience of partnership working and of maintaining excellent working relationships with a range of stakeholders as well as experience of working within in multi-agency environment.
- Ability to provide consultancy and guidance to multidisciplinary teams on domestic abuse-related issues, offering informed advice and support.
- Excellent communication skills (listening, verbal, and written), with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse professionals and stakeholders.

The team is based at our busy community centre from where it offers a range of services from community meals, art classes to gardening services and digital support. We support older and disabled people living in Fulham, London. Much of our work is delivered by volunteers, so this post is critical to our service delivery. The next few years will be critical in determining what kind of world we all live in. We need to urgently reverse the loss of wildlife and put nature into recovery at scale if we are to prevent climate and ecological disaster. The Landscape Recovery team was set up as a response to the urgency of the inextricably linked nature and climate emergencies. The purpose of this team is to encourage and facilitate cross-Wildlife Trust action on landscape scale recovery, inject the rewilding approaches into the work of the Wildlife Trusts, coordinate land management activities where scale-economies are clear and to substantially increase funding for nature’s recovery across the Wildlife Trusts. The team is developing a range of programmes where RSWT acts as a ‘collective vehicle’ for groups of Trusts. For example, RSWT is leading a programme of peatland restoration through the Precious Peatlands project. Opportunities for such programmes are increasing – the UK is at a tipping point where either wildlife continues to decline or we finally grasp the opportunities of nature’s recovery.
About You
Working closely with colleagues at the Royal Society of Wildlife Trusts and with Local Wildlife Trusts, the Land Management Practice Officer will support The Wildlife Trusts Nature Reserves community of practice. This role will focus primarily, in the first instance, on supporting local Wildlife Trusts to reduce their pesticide use.
The post will help Trusts develop and share knowledge, skills and capacity in the realm of pesticide use reduction and, where possible, also across other aspects of land management. This work will support Goal 1 – Nature’s Recovery – of the Wildlife Trusts’ Strategy 2030.
You will be a highly organised, collaborative, and an experienced individual adept at managing customer focussed relationships. You will understand the needs of the Wildlife Trusts and the context in which they operate. We're seeking an enthusiastic Education Coordinator to help shape the future of chemistry education.
With a focus on Northern Ireland, you'll lead regional initiatives, tailoring them to local needs and supporting teachers through workshops and online sessions. You'll build strong partnerships with local education authorities, schools, and teacher networks, and collaborate with national organisations to advance our education policy across the UK and Ireland. This role will require extensive travel throughout Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, including attending and running events for teachers and student teachers, working with members, and meeting key education contacts. Regional engagement and delivery: Lead the project management and delivery of education initiatives tailored to the needs of the local education community, aligned with our strategy. What we are looking for:
• A degree in science, preferably in the chemical sciences, or an equivalent qualification, together with evidence of working with schools, ideally with a teaching qualification.
• An understanding of school level, further and higher education and a breadth of knowledge of the education systems in the UK and Ireland together with a deep knowledge of the local curricula.
• Experience of stakeholder relationship management and an understanding of customer requirements, including those of: school teachers; FE teachers, HE academics and support staff; careers advisors; employers; governments and its agencies, and non-government bodies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including a proven ability to write effectively for different audiences and deliver clear and engaging presentations both online and in-person.

Fundraising and Grants Administration
