We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to cover parental leave.
The successful candidate will have accountability for several key areas of operational delivery of BITC’s programmes across England, Scotland and Wales. This role will ensure the high quality and consistency of performance through these aspects of operational delivery and development, working closely with businesses, internal stakeholders and external partners. This role is responsible for leading and managing a high-performing team, delivering programmes and contractual obligations across their patch. The post holder will lead on driving programme/contractual performance (both KPI’s and financial) motivating and inspiring the team. They will also have responsibility for ensuring continued funding from key partners and securing new income; monitoring and reporting on this important activity as it contributes to BITC's vision within a set geographical area or programme/project areas.
The successful candidate will have knowledge and experience of:

Purpose of job:
As Senior Fundraising Strategist you’ll play an integral role in defining the fundraising strategies for cross organisational campaigns and targeted fundraising and engagement activities. The role is responsible for overseeing high-quality sourcing of volunteers to join as 1MM Mentors, in London and nationally. This includes partnership development, online site listing, and matching mentors/mentees, and oversight of some corporate programmes. Also to consider safeguarding measures, fundraising, meeting growth targets and leading all aspects of mentor management. The role will help to establish a pipeline in line with 1MM’s aspirations for 2024 and beyond. This role reports to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).
1MM Regional Manager for Volunteer Mentors main tasks include:

Helping 1MM to scale by helping establish over 150 new, high quality mentoring matches each quarter. (A match means that the mentor and the mentee have completed 1MM’s training and have had their first meeting)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced operations manager to join our team. We are looking for someone who will help strengthen the foundations of our organisation, as well as help us expand our growing network of partner organisations across the UK.
As a small charity, the role will require balancing practical tasks with strategic planning and management. Building on what has already been done, you will work directly with the CEO to help build the operational structure of Big Green Heart, and support its day-to-day operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be trained as a Big Green Heart facilitator with an expectation that you may be needed to facilitate a workshop during your time at the organisation.

You will participate in professional and networking events related to Big Green Heart’s field of intervention.

You will support staff members, trustees and volunteers, providing guidance and training in the operations of the charity as needed.

As National Support Coordinator you will provide support to our members living with a rare neuromuscular condition, myasthenia, their families, and carers.
