Are you passionate about helping organisations to improve their culture through EDI training and awareness raising?
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and passionate person to join our EDI team. This is a new role that aims to support the co-creation of a sustainable EDI training solution that delivers our ambitious strategic plans for improving our working and volunteering culture.
The training will also support behavioural change in both of these communities. Through the creation of safe, brave spaces, you’ll be raising the awareness and knowledge of EDI related topics for both our staff and volunteers.
You’ll be pivotal in helping us to design, deliver and evaluate a training offer which meets our EDI training needs. In addition, your expertise will support other training programmes associated with behavioural change.
As a result, our colleagues and volunteers will grow in confidence by equipping them with the tools to be active allies. You’ll build knowledge and awareness to support our ambitions to create a fully inclusive culture.
To be successful in this role you’ll bring a wealth of industry experience including; expert knowledge of organisational development and EDI best practice along with examples of developing co- created learning solutions.
This activity will involve rolling out training solutions to scale and geographical dispersed individuals so you should have excellent communications and interpersonal skills, and be solutions focused. Project management experience would be advantageous for this role.

The Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity within the Project, your role will be based within our newly refurbished Centre where you will manage a caseload of service users who may have complex needs and challenging behaviour. You will provide Advice, Guidance and information (IAG) to vulnerable adults and holistic support to address their needs within a psychologically informed environment and will provide specialist VAWG support.
Part of your role will also include Coordinating and facilitating our Drop-in Service for rough sleepers, providing them with a range of services including food provision; laundry; showers; clothing and nurses clinics.

Salary

Hours
Average 40 hours a week on a five-week rota. Normal working pattern will be working across early and late shifts & working two weekends. Some flexibility in working hours is expected.
Pension
The employee will be enrolled into a pension scheme providing the post holder meets the criteria for eligibility. Minimum pension contributions will be paid by the employer for you if you are eligible.
Annual Leave

Royal Trinity Hospice is the local hospice for southwest and central London. We provide free specialist palliative and end of life care for people living in Wandsworth and parts of Lambeth, Merton, Westminster, Hammersmith & Fulham, Kensington & Chelsea and Richmond.
The organisation has recently embarked on a new five-year strategy and this exciting role will play a pivotal part in the overall delivery of the technology aspects. The successful appointee of this role will sit within a small but busy IT team and will be responsible for first class support of Royal Trinity Hospice’s customers and systems.
Reporting to the IT Operations Manager, the Senior IT Support Technician will be responsible for providing 1st and 2nd line support services to the staff, volunteers and service users at the hospice, and will support the IT Operations Manager in their day-to-day activities, ensuring the IT service is delivered to the agreed standards, as well as providing mentorship and team-leadership to the IT Support Technicians within the team.
What you’ll be doing
The primary duties of the Senior IT Support Technician include, but are not limited to:

Skills and experience required

- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Windows 10 OS.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure, AzureAD and Microsoft Endpoint Manager.
- Working knowledge of Windows Server OS, Exchange and Active Directory.
- A sound understanding of network and server infrastructure.
- Knowledge of IT security software solutions.
- Knowledge of various end user computing hardware e.g. Laptops, PC’s, Phones etc.
- Experience of Citrix XenDesktop and XenApp is desirable but not essential.
- Able to work to SLA’s and KPI’s.
- A strong ability to fault find customer issues remotely, in person or over the phone, ensuring that outcomes are documented within support tickets.

Duties and key responsibilities:
Office Maintenance
- Oversee the general maintenance of the office.
- Manage office supplies by tracking office inventory and replenishing supplies including kitchen and stationery.

- Managing deliveries to the office and organising couriers.
- Organise travel and accommodation bookings across the whole charity including fundraising events.
- Organise travel, meetings and staff attendance at events including the British Sarcoma Group conference.
- Make any bookings and arrangements for the team that involve financial transactions, for example booking travel, conferences, training courses, flowers for supporters and event purchases.
- Provide meeting room management, including bookings and catering.
- Carry out ad hoc administrative tasks for other departments when requested e.g. fundraising and information send outs during busy periods or absence.
Health & Safety
- Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures, maintaining a safe working environment in the office. This
- Regular health and safety inspections of the office and workstations.

Duties and key responsibilities:
Content development:
- Work with the Information and Content Manager to research, write, edit and produce new information materials including print publications, web pages, videos, etc.

Part 1: Role Purpose:
This role is a key member of the busy HQ finance function. Although the role is primarily focused on the HQ finances, the role operates within the context of Street Child as a global charity and so also has interaction with the global finance team. The role offers the chance to work across a number of finance functions, and some of the subsidiary charities. It is essential that the applicant can juggle the complexities of a busy role with has varied work priorities. Key stakeholders are the HQ Finance Manager, Finance Director and the HQ based fundraising team. The role works alongside the Finance Assistant and plays a role in oversight and coaching of this role.
Part 2: Key Responsibilities:
1) (40%) Deliver all functions related to Accounts Receivable
- Ensure that all income from a variety of different sources is correctly and accurately recorded in the finance system and CRM (which is under development) on a weekly basis.
- Supporting with work on accounts receivable including accessing, downloading and saving in a systematic manner reports from donor portals, bank account and other sources.
- Working with colleagues in Fundraising to analyse and code income reports in Excel and uploading it to the Finance system on a timely basis, at least weekly. Following up on how to code any income which is not allocated to a source.
- Working closely with colleagues in Fundraising to ensure prompt collection of outstanding balances from customers, and sending out monthly debtor balance statements.
- Raising donor invoices and requests for payments, and issuing donor receipts.
- Income and customer account reconciliations and revaluations.
- Any other responsibilities relating to Accounts Receivable.
2) (20%) Lead the Accounts Payable process
- Whilst the Finance Assistant is responsible for all payments, the Finance Officer has a lead role in ensuring that all invoices are paid on time, in an efficient manner and that the finance system reflects the transactions within the correct accounting period and correctly coded in the system – including account code, cost centre, project code and donor code.
- Determine most efficient payment platform to process international payments, and ensure that recorded in the finance system at the correct conversion rate.
- Be a point of contact with the Foreign exchange agents to quickly resolve any questions.
- Work with the Finance Assistant to ensure accurate and timely recording of all approved supplier invoices, requisitions, staff expenses and other expenditure in the accounting system and that all supporting documentation for all transactions are uploaded.
- Managing at least two payment runs a week and additional runs as required; ensuring that all invoices for payment are correctly approved by the budget holder, setting up payments on online banking platforms and sending out requests for payment approvals to payment authorisers and verifying that all payments are fully approved in the banking platforms by the deadline set.
- Once the payment is made, allocating the payment against the invoices in the Finance system.
- Reviewing staff expense claims to ensure that all supporting documentation is provided before payment.
- Managing monthly staff credit card reconciliations and ensure that these are returned on time with all receipts and invoices and checking and reviewing classifications, with follow up as required.
- Carry out monthly Creditor account reconciliations ensuring that all balances are valid and backed up with appropriate supporting documentation.
- Fully deliver the set up all payroll payments in time for the monthly pay day. This involves ensuring correct amount and currency of payment (which may differ from the salary of the individual’s employment contract) and method of payment across all HQ staff.
- Any other responsibilities relating to Accounts Payable.
3) (40%) Month end reporting and reconciliation and subsidiary accounts
- Complete all balance sheet reconciliations, including bank and petty cash reconciliations and submit for approval by HQ Finance Manager.
- Once CRM system is in place, undertake reconciliation processes between finance data and CRM data.
- Carry out monthly revaluations of bank accounts.
- Ensuring supporting information for transactions is correctly stored in electronic format on Teams such as bank statements, remittance advices, credit statements.

Using an account management approach, you will thrive on seeking out, building and nurturing relationships with key job roles at every level within our member organisations, offering them regular support and advice on how to get the most out of their membership of Bond.
As the first point of contact for Bond members, you will deliver outstanding customer service with a warm, helpful, and confident demeanour, lead meetings with members to understand their needs and identify engagement opportunities, and introduce members to Bond colleagues when appropriate. A firm grasp of the Member Value Proposition is essential, as is the ability to confidently and enthusiastically speak to all aspects of it when interacting with members.
Working alongside the membership and marketing manager, you will help to develop and implement strategies to retain existing members, using data (in Salesforce, our CRM) to inform and tailor our approach including identifying members with low activity or gaps in engagement. You will gather feedback and intel from members through surveys and other mechanisms so that we better understand how and why they value Bond and to identify potential new initiatives and services they may find useful. One of your responsibilities is member renewals (which is integrated with Salesforce), in which you will work with the Salesforce Adviser to ensure that the process is optimised and efficient. You will also regularly compose member emails and newsletters and contribute to Bond reporting and Board papers.
While the role sits in the Communications and Member Services team, it is integral across the organisation.
