About the Role
Our Communications Assistant will amplify all the great things the Foundation does. They will be responsible for JPF’s youth-focused social media channels (Instagram, TikTok etc.), creating marketing material focused on inspiring and motivating young people to engage with the Foundation, and our community development. You will need to champion young people, ensure that we are amplifying young people’s voices and providing them with the tools, resources, contacts and services that enable them to achieve great things. This is an exciting opportunity to join us as we grow our impact as a Foundation. About You
We are seeking an efficient, highly organised team member with creativity and the ability to communicate effectively. You should have a passion for our work with young people. You will have strong digital skills and be able to use these to improve our social media performance and reach. An understanding of content curation for social media, newsletters and websites is desirable. About Your Responsibilities
The Communications Assistant will be responsible for supporting the Communications Team across three areas, as well as supporting a number of other initiatives across the Foundation.
The primary duties are:
Digital Communications and Marketing
• Newsletter Creation: Develop newsletters for young people, collaborating with the Grants Team and our partners to curate engaging and relevant content.
• Promotional Materials: Oversee the design and production of leaflets and brochures aimed at young audiences.
• Website Maintenance: Regularly update the JPF website with blogs, case studies and other content to highlight opportunities and programmes like the Individual Grant for Volunteering or success stories of Achievement Award winners.
• Storytelling: Work with the Communications and Engagement Officer and Events Team to source and share positive news stories of Achievement Award winners in press releases and across our digital channels.
• Press and Outreach: Assisting in drafting press releases and executing outreach campaigns to promote JPF’s work to key networks and to the broader public.
• Event Promotion: Work in partnership with the Events Team to promote attendance at our Achievement Award events through our website and social media platforms.
• Youth Consultation Panel (YCP) Collaboration: Collaborate with JPF's Youth Consultation Panel to create educational and professional development content for the Jack Petchey Alumni Network.
Programme Launches: Work with colleagues across JPF to launch and promote new programmes, grant opportunities and recruitment across our digital channels.
• Competitions and Opportunities: Enhance JPF's youth engagement through creative competitions and development opportunities that celebrate young people’s achievements.
Content Creation
• Daily Duties: Handle day-to-day scheduling, monitoring and interactions across our youthfocused social media platforms (X, Instagram, TikTok) to maintain audience engagement.
• Campaign Development: Lead the creation of social media campaigns celebrating young people’s achievements and promoting opportunities for young people and grantees to get involved with JPF.
• Content creation: Develop engaging content for social media channels, including sourcing images, creating/editing videos and designing graphics in line with JPF’s branding.
• Video Content: Work with staff and our Youth Consultation Panel to produce more film content for our social media channels.
• Social Media Takeovers: Host social media takeovers with our Youth Consultation Panel to amplify their voices and views.
• Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyse the performance of our social media channels, benchmarking activities against past metrics and producing regular reports for the Communications and Engagement Manager.
• Annual Plan: Contribute to JPF’s annual communications strategy, including devising social media plans, providing recommendations to enhance audience engagement and expand reach.
• Trend monitoring: Stay updated on news and trending topics related to young people and JPF, proactively responding to highlight our opportunities and work.
Community Development
• Youth consultation Panel (YCP): Work with the JPF team to engage with and support our Youth Consultation Panel to share their opinions and help inform the work of the Foundation.
• Alumni Network: Support the development of the Jack Petchey Alumni Network, a community of past JPF programme graduates, expanding its uptake and planning future events.
• Youth Survey Development: Support the creation, distribution and analysis of JPF’s annual youth surveys.
• Partner Collaboration: Work with the Communications and Engagement Officer to manage our partners to promote their programmes and opportunities to young people.
• Identifying Stakeholders: Collaborate with colleagues on developing JPF’s Patrons and Ambassador’s plan with a focus on young people from the charity’s past as well as social media influencers.
Other Responsibilities
• Event Representation: Attend key events to capture content and represent JPF as a spokesperson when needed.
• Event Support: Assist in organising and facilitating events and conferences as required.
These duties represent the typical responsibilities associated with this position. However, flexibility is essential and all employees may occasionally be required to undertake additional tasks as directed by JPF.
The postholder will work at all times within the policies, procedures and values of JPF, in particular Safeguarding, Health and Safety, Data Protection and Publicity Consent policies.

Key Details

About the Role
As a Recruitment Manager, you’ll drive our process for finding and selecting the founders of the new organizations we launch. This is a highly impactful role, for two key reasons:

The number of organizations we launch is currently limited by the number of exceptional founders we can find. Your ability to find and select an additional outstanding founder will likely result in an additional incredible organisation launching. For every Lucia Coulter & Jack Rafferty we find, we can launch another organisation like LEEP, preventing more than 44 million children suffering lead poisoning.

The biggest predictor of charity success we have is the strength of the co-founding team. If you can refine our recruitment process to reliably attract and select higher-potential founders, the organizations we launch will help more humans and animals at scale.
Our Recruitment team operates across two distinct, though overlapping, areas of work:

Outreach - attracting high-potential entrepreneurs to apply

Vetting - selecting the very best founders out of the applicant pool
We operate as a tight-knit team of four who work flexibly across the two domains. We anticipate a new hire doing both Outreach and Vetting work, with some possibility to specialise more in one direction or the other based on experience and preference.
At AIM, we prize the ability of staff to work with speed, autonomy, and flexibility. We don’t expect you to have prior experience in recruitment. We do expect you to be a fast learner and excited about taking on whatever work is most essential on a given day.
More concretely, you’ll split your time between the following:

Job title: Employer Engagement Manager

Overall purpose
The Employer Engagement Manager (EEM) will play a critical role in ensuring refugees supported by Breaking Barriers access meaningful, opportunities that align with client needs and labour market demand. The postholder will lead employer outreach and partnership building in priority sectors and embed consistent systems and processes that make employer engagement coordinated and impactful across the organisation. The EEM will support pathways, work placements, recruitment pipelines and workshops by ensuring employer input is actively embedded where relevant.
This is a strategic, hands-on role, the successful candidate will map and cultivate employer relationships, secure employer input into sector pathways, workshops and recruitment initiatives, translate labour market intelligence into programme improvements, and design the operational processes that enable Programmes and Corporate Partnerships to work together effectively. You will operate in a matrix environment, collaborating closely with the Programmes, Corporate Partnerships and Client Services teams but will not hold direct line-management of delivery staff.
The role is set up to be ambitious but achievable within 12 months. The priority is to build tested, repeatable employer engagement practice (relationships, processes, insight-sharing and measurable impact) that can form the foundations of a permanent employer engagement function if/when funding allows.

Tender is an arts charity working with children and young people to prevent domestic abuse and sexual violence through creative projects. The Science Communications Manager leads an expert team that inspires and informs the public, donors and researchers about dementia research, the progress being made, wider developments in the field and the impact of Alzheimer’s Research UK (ARUK) funding.
With much of the charity’s fundraising propositions centring around our research portfolio, this role and the team it leads, are the keystone that unites our research output and fundraising approaches. This means working closely with our Philanthropy and Gifts in Wills teams to create impactful research content, as well as supporting engagement activities.

Key Responsibilities:
· Work with both the Senior Science Communications Manager and the Head of Communications, as well as colleagues in the Research team to plan and implement inspirational science communications programmes and initiatives that support the delivery of the charity’s 10-year strategy.
· Lead and develop a team of two Officers, working closely across the wider science communications team.

About the role

SUMMARY OF ROLE
The PR & Marketing Manager is a specialist media and storytelling lead within RABI’s Marketing and Communications team, with a core focus on strengthening the charity’s voice across agricultural, regional and national media. This pivotal role requires a journalistically minded communications professional with a strong track record in media engagement, story sourcing, and reactive PR. With a firm grasp of audience insight, campaign messaging and fast-paced content development, the postholder will manage all inbound media enquiries, drive proactive press activity, and lead the creation of compelling editorial and campaign copy that elevates RABI’s brand and influence.
The role reports to the Senior Strategic Communications Manager and is supported by the Marketing & Communications Coordinator. It will work closely with colleagues across the organisation to uncover impactful stories, draft powerful messaging and manage time-sensitive responses. This role is ideal for a media professional with experience in journalism, public relations or press office environments who brings a blend of creativity, copywriting skill, and newsroom agility.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
PR and Media Relations
- Lead the delivery of RABI’s press office function, including proactive media outreach, reactive response, and managing journalist relationships.
- Continually scope, plan and deliver media engagement activity to secure positive and frequent press coverage across agricultural, health, regional, and national media.
- Draft compelling press releases, media packs, statements, and comment pieces aligned to RABI’s strategic priorities.
- Cultivate and maintain a live, segmented database of journalists, editors, sector influencers and media contacts.
- Serve as contact for media handling during high-profile campaigns, events, or issues, supported by senior colleagues and external PR agency partners.
Campaign Marketing and Creative Development
- Develop and implement creative marketing campaigns to support RABI’s major initiatives, appeals, events, and sector outreach.
- Coordinate the production of marketing content including videography, photography and storytelling assets.
- Direct the framework and management of RABI’s online asset library.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including External Affairs and Fundraising, to create engaging marketing outputs tailored to key audiences.
- Oversee third-party designers, writers, photographers and multimedia producers for marketing and PR related materials.
- Ensure all outputs are brand-consistent, audience-focused, and aligned with RABI’s tone of voice and messaging guidelines.
Publications and Content Planning
- Oversee the planning and delivery of RABI’s outward-facing publications and branded content, ensuring they align with organisational priorities, audience needs, and campaign timelines.
- Act as editorial lead—commissioning, writing, and editing content in collaboration with internal teams, external contributors, designers and printers.
- Manage project timelines and workflows for all publications, from initial scoping through to production and distribution, ensuring content is delivered to a consistently high standard and to deadline.
- Maintain high standards of content governance, applying editorial judgement and ensuring compliance with brand guidelines, accessibility standards, and legal/ethical requirements (e.g. safeguarding, consent, GDPR).
- Work closely with the Senior Strategic Communications Manager to shape RABI’s long-term publications roadmap, ensuring that content plays a strategic role in reputation building and stakeholder influence.
Digital Collaboration and Integrated Marketing
- Work in close partnership with the Digital Communications team on the cohesive planning and delivery of integrated campaigns across digital and traditional channels.
- Support the Digital Communication team’s planning and rollout of supporter journeys via email, ensuring communications that reflect RABI’s brand voice and objectives.
- Input into CRM-led campaign planning using Microsoft Dynamics 365, helping segment audiences, personalise outreach and track engagement.
- Share campaign results and insights with the Digital Communications team to jointly evaluate performance and identify opportunities for refinement and learning.
Team and Project Leadership
- Line-manage the Marketing & Communications Coordinator, ensuring clear direction, regular feedback, and development support.
- Support the delivery of integrated campaign plans led by the Senior Strategic Communications Manager, ensuring timely implementation of PR and marketing deliverables.
Brand Awareness and Recognition
- Identify new opportunities to grow brand awareness and RABI’s share of voice within the agricultural and wider wellbeing sectors.
- Lead on promotional activity for awards submissions, key events and organisational milestones.
- Create and coordinate celebratory communications for sector recognition, shortlists or accolades achieved by RABI.
Insight, Evaluation and Learning
- Track campaign and media engagement performance using AgilityPR and generate insights to optimise future planning.
- Produce monthly reporting dashboards for the Senior Strategic Communications Manager with narrative summaries of media reach, campaign engagement, and PR activity.
- Apply a test-and-learn approach to campaign marketing, incorporating audience insight, message testing and performance data into continuous improvement cycles
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Essential
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Marketing or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working in public relations, media engagement, or campaign marketing, with a demonstrable track record of leading successful, high-profile communications activity.
- Proven ability to manage integrated marketing campaigns from concept to delivery.
- Exceptional copywriting skills with a flair for storytelling and message crafting.
- Experience in managing staff or direct reports
- Proven experience developing publications and editorial outputs in a professional setting, including commissioning, writing, and managing multi-stage content workflows.
- Ability to transform complex or sensitive material into clear, compelling narratives for varied audiences.
- Confidence working with designers, printers and digital producers to deliver high-quality, on-brand content across formats.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to work across multiple priorities with confidence.
- An understanding of brand application across different channels and content formats.
- Familiarity with media monitoring tools
- Strong understanding of email marketing principles and experience working collaboratively with Digital teams on CRM-supported campaigns.
- Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
Desirable
- Experience working within the charity, health, rural affairs, or public services sector.
- Knowledge of the agricultural sector or issues affecting rural communities.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud or Canva.

As Scientific and Patient Information Manager, you will work in the Medical Education and Scientific Engagement Team at Myeloma Patients Europe (MPE). Under the Department Head and MPE Leadership Team, collaborating with the Head of Communications, you will oversee the following projects and activities:
Patient information and communications management (Approx. 55%)
A key role of MPE is providing up-to-date, comprehensive, and patient friendly educational materials and tools for our members and the patient community, as well as communicating about scientific advances in myeloma and AL amyloidosis. This role will be responsible for working across MPE to develop a patient information and educational plan and develop and deliver resources. MPE expects the appointed person to:
- Perform efficient scientific watch (monitoring advancements in research and clinical development)
- Lead the development and implementation of a patient information plan based on member and patient needs, scientific advances and cross-department projects
- Monitor the readership and usage of MPE patient information materials, incorporating website user analytics and feedback from users to increase the reach and impact of the department
- Research, write, and develop patient information and educational materials (including factsheets, Q&As, webinars and infographics). Manage the execution of materials from development through to publication in coordination with Department Head, other MPE departments, and external stakeholders (key opinion leaders, industry, researchers, proofreaders etc.)
- Work with the MPE Communications Team to develop website news stories, e-Newsletter and social media content related to clinical and scientific updates. This will include planning new and innovative ways of disseminating scientific and medical information to patients
- Attending (in person and/or virtually) scientific congresses and developing conference and scientific meeting summaries, organising post-conference webinars for patients in collaboration with the Communication Team
European Myeloma and AL Amyloidosis Clinical Trial Navigator Management (Approximately 35%)
MPE has developed an online clinical trial search tool of European myeloma and AL amyloidosis clinical trials for patients and advocates. This role will be responsible for the management, improvement, and promotion of this core MPE programme, with a focus on ensuring the tool and content is patient friendly, including:
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate database of all industry and academic recruiting myeloma, AL amyloidosis, MGUS, and smouldering myeloma clinical trials in Europe
- Write and format lay / patient friendly clinical trial descriptions for the Navigator website
- Liaise with industry and academic clinical trial sponsors, clinical trial sites, and other stakeholders to maintain database up-to-date
- Liaise with web developers to manage the Navigator website, make enhancements, and fix technical issues
- Oversee implementation of translated materials in multiple languages
- Elicit feedback from patients, family members, clinicians and other stakeholders to ensure continued improvement and enhancements
- Manage website news and content
Other 10%
- Staff meetings, annual events, support the rest of the team with clinical and scientific information, answer inquiries from patients, carers and MPE members.
About you
Essential
- A Bachelor’s or a Master’ s degree in a relevant scientific field
- Minimum of five years of relevant experience
- Demonstrable experience (and tested during the interview process) of writing and communicating scientific/complex information for lay audiences across different media
- Ability to understand, critically read and process complex scientific information (from clinical trials, scientific papers, conference talks etc) – and communicating about this in lay, patient friendly language
- Excellent capacity for analysis and communicating (verbally and in writing) clearly for a range of different audiences
- Demonstrable project management experience
- Excellent level of both written and spoken English
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to lead and work independently on assigned tasks and take appropriate initiatives
- Confidence in representing an organisation in meetings with external stakeholders at all levels

A team of 14 staff members runs remotely the day-to-day operations, programmes and services within 4 divisions: Access and Policy, Medical Education and Scientific Engagement, Capacity Building and Advocacy, and Patient Evidence.
MPE is dedicated to improving the treatment, care and quality of life of patients with myeloma and AL amyloidosis. To this end, the strategic goals of the organisation are:
