What does an Individual Giving Officer do?
To support the planning, project management and delivery of a full programme of Individual Giving acquisition campaigns and appeals to optimise response rates and lifetime value potential of donors and members. Working closely with the Data & Insights Manager you’ll gather and interpret the necessary insights to support campaign and appeal planning and will work closely with Marketing colleagues to ensure the delivery of campaigns and appeals across multiple channels.
Overview of main duties and responsibilities
•Model the Society’s values - Commitment, Compassionate, Professional and Expert - in your leadership approach to drive a high performing culture, high employee and volunteer engagement through effective communication, and by giving and receiving regular feedback
•Work closely with colleagues and partners to deliver and monitor an effective Individual Giving plans and programmes, including:
o Membership acquisition activities, including supporting the management of third-party acquisition agencies
o Campaigns and appeals, including urgent or emergency appeals
•Responsible for monitoring and tracking related expenditure
•Provide support to the Supporter Experience Manager and Stewardship Officer to design and implement appropriate and effective supporter journeys for new members and supporters
•Work closely with the Data & Insights Manager to ensure campaigns and appeals are insight-led.
•Support the Marketing and Communications team to develop and optimise campaigns and appeals.
•Work collaboratively on all Individual Giving products and propositions, ensuring alignment with brand and key messages
•Manage relevant relationships with partners and suppliers to ensure effective use of budget and alignment with strategic objectives.
•Adhere to all fundraising regulation and best practice guidance, identifying areas of development and contribute to the Fundraising Team’s ongoing pursuit of excellence
•Develop relationships with Operations colleagues to support the collection of appropriate campaign, appeal and stewardship stories and content.

Overview
At Young Roots, we want to see a compassionate and welcoming society for young refugees and asylum seekers in the UK. We work alongside young people seeking safety in the UK, building trusted relationships, providing practical and emotional support and promoting young people’s rights and power.
Our youth clubs and casework are transformative for young refugees, allowing young people who have fled danger, had traumatic journeys and who are often here alone, to find community and connection, have a space to be a young person and access support in addressing a whole range of practical challenges they face. We also draw on our evidence from working every day with young refugees and asylum seekers to call for change to the laws and policies which are harming young people.
The Youth Development Coordinator is responsible for the development and delivery of our youth development programme for young refugees and asylum seekers.
You will be focused on ensuring our programme activities achieve our outcomes, are in line with our strategy and identify areas for change and development under the direction of the Head of Services. An excellent communicator and skilled at working with partners, you will be key in the implementation and running all of our weekly youth activities, including a Youth Club and Advice and Support Hub working closely with the Youth Development Worker and having oversight of our weekly Young Women’s group.
As an experienced manager, you will lead our team of skilled youth workers, working alongside the Brent team to provide holistic support to young asylum seekers and refugees in Brent.
You will prioritise the participation of young people in all activities, ensuring excellent safeguarding by following our policy and protocols, and ensure that we collect excellent data for monitoring and evaluation and to aid our future planning. You will also assist with staff and volunteer recruitment and reporting to our funding partners.
The Youth Development Coordinator will hold a Designated Safeguarding Officer role at Young Roots for which they will receive full training.

Key Responsibilities

In this role you will ensure high-quality, impactful innovation delivery while positioning Elrha as a global leader in humanitarian innovation. You will be responsible for the provision of strategic technical insights in the design and delivery of focused innovation initiatives and drive the strategic development and integration of innovation methods across our work.
If you have substantial experience in innovation delivery and practice, with a focus on impact, we are keen to hear from you. We welcome applicants with development, social and humanitarian innovation experience.
Your application will need to demonstrate:
- Substantial experience in innovation delivery and practice roles, including leading the design and delivery of innovation programmes with a focus on impact at scale.
- Deep technical knowledge of innovation theory and practice, specially including the area of scaling of innovation
- Proven understanding of the humanitarian and/or development system, including the challenges and key stakeholders within the sector(s)

The Senior Events Officer will lead a dynamic and high-profile events programme, through a strategic and considered approach. As Head of Philanthropy at The Hospice of St Francis, you will be accountable for the planning and delivery of at least £1.5 million annually and stewarding legacy income. About Leeds Baby Bank
At Leeds Baby Bank our mission is to ensure no child goes without. We support families in Leeds, with children aged 0-5 years, who are experiencing poverty. We provide families with all the essentials and equipment they need for their babies and young children. This includes bed bundles, nappies and toiletries, baby baths, potties, highchairs, prams and buggies, clothes and shoes, toys and books.
Families are referred to Leeds Baby Bank by our professional referral partners. This includes midwives, health visitors and social workers. This ensures we’re helping families who are in the most need. We also run an Outreach project, where we support families in the community at four different community centres across Leeds. Here we provide signposting and advice as well as essential items for young families.
About the role
The Head of Charity will work with the board of trustees to lead the day to day running and management of Leeds Baby Bank. You will be self-motivated and enthusiastic with demonstrable leadership experience and a strategic mindset. The Head of Charity will lead a dedicated staff and volunteer team to achieve the ongoing strategic aims of Leeds Baby Bank, whilst also having the skills to support the charity through a period of ongoing change.

Main duties and responsibilities

- Review policies and procedures proactively and reactively as required, in line with the charity’s review procedures.
- Responsible for the charity’s day to day risk management procedures, this includes updating risk assessments, ensuring that ongoing risks are reported on and highlighting new risks to the Board of Trustees.
- Provide strong leadership, direction and management in all aspects of the charity’s work and represent the charity with stakeholders and publicly.
