As a Senior Auditor, you'll be responsible for:

The purpose of this role is to provide leadership, oversight and curation to the FYT Leadership Team, and to lead the smooth running of the FYT Organisation which supports the wider FYT Movement. 11. Make links with appropriate Christian, voluntary and statutory bodies and to represent FYT in appropriate forums and pursue opportunities for collaborative working.
12. Support the active promotion of the FYT training and resource offer.
13. Lead the monitoring and evaluation (impact assessment) of FYT’s work

• The Leadership Team is supported by a contract with Giraffe HR that assists in the day to day running of the organisation, primarily managing the finances of the organisation.
• Engagement in ongoing, regular youth work with marginalised young people is not a requirement of this post, but encouraged. FYT will be flexible where possible in order to facilitate this.

The Director role is a new opportunity working across ImpactEd Evaluation. The Role

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the growing Finance team at Dementia UK in a new role that will oversee the smooth running of the accounts function. As the Accounts Supervisor, you will be responsible for accurately posting expenditure to the accounts system, Business Central and providing support and training to the Assistant Accountant.

The role involves overseeing the entire finance function, ensuring timely payments, including international transfers and BACS runs. You will work closely with other departments to ensure invoices are correctly coded and maintain a smooth flow of information between Finance and other teams. Additionally, you will process and manage staff expenses, including both the payment and administration of the expenses system.

Your responsibilities will also include preparing monthly bank reconciliations for the main Dementia UK bank account, as well as month-end balance sheet reconciliations and related journals. You will assist in preparing year-end information for the financial statements and the annual audit in addition to regularly monitoring the Finance inbox. Ensuring that financial processes and procedures are compliant with GDPR will be a key aspect of your role.

To succeed in this position, you will need a good general education to degree level or equivalent, or be part-qualified by experience and actively studying for AAT, CIMA, or ACCA. You should be computer literate in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and at least one accounting programme. Strong accounting and financial management skills are essential, along with the ability to report to and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

Background

Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) works for the health and dignity of Palestinians living under occupation and as refugees. A UK registered charity, we work in collaboration with Palestinian communities and trusted local partners, and coordinate with key stakeholders and relevant clusters, to meet a wide range of health and social needs, from providing vital medical aid in emergencies, to supporting the development of better health services for the long term. We also uplift the voices of Palestinians, and campaign for an end to the barriers to health and dignity that come from living through occupation, displacement, discrimination and conflict.

Purpose of role

MAP is in a period of growth and rapid development, and as such, the incoming Chief Operating Officer (COO) will be responsible for the financial strategy and management of MAP and for the leadership of operational areas to help deliver the organisation’s mission and strategic goals. The COO provides support to the CEO in areas of governance, legal and risk management and may deputise for the CEO as required.

Responsibilities

Strategy, vision and leadership

• Be accountable to the CEO and Board in the areas of finance, technology, risk and compliance, supply chain and logistics, and safety and security.
• Advise the CEO and SMT on financial planning, legal, governance and related policy matters.
• Work closely with SMT colleagues to ensure that appropriate processes and systems are in place across the organisation, including delivery against KPIs.

Profile

Person specification

• Recognised professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA, ACA) or post-graduate business degree mandatory.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in a senior management role ideally with in-house financial management experience gained in a high-growth organisation.
• Experience either as an employee or board member of a non-profit organisation; must be familiar with non-profit finance and accounting regulations.
• Proven track record of success facilitating progressive organisational change and development within a growing organisation.
• Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills including negotiation and conflict resolution skills.

Join All Ways Network (AWN) and play a central role in empowering grassroots Muslim organisations across the UK by securing critical funding and expanding sector capacity. 

Role Summary 

As our Bid Writer, you will strategically lead AWN’s fundraising support to grassroots primarily Muslim-led organisations. You will help shape the service and act as the primary advisor on grant funding, deliver high-quality bids, and build AWN’s capacity to increase the flow of resources into underserved communities. This is a chance to directly contribute to lasting social change for underrepresented Muslim communities in the UK. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Lead and support bid writing for grassroots organisations aligned with AWN’s priorities. 

• Write grant applications directly on behalf of multiple small grassroots organisations, ensuring proposals are tailored to each funder's priorities and the unique strengths of each group.

• Design and deliver training sessions, webinars, and 1-to-1 support on grant writing. 

• Build strategic relationships with funders, local councils, and second-tier organisations. 

• Promote AWN’s funding support services across networks and platforms.

Ascension Community Trust (ACT) is a much-loved community-based charity in Custom
House, Newham. We deliver Newham District Foodbank (a Trussell foodbank run by ACT

Based in Surrey, the Orpheus Centre is an independent specialist college and charity that focuses on developing independence skills through performing and visual arts and makes dramatic improvements to young disabled adults’ lives.  We are currently looking for a driven and pro-active Events Fundraiser to develop, coordinate and deliver the charity’s fundraising events and orchestrate experiences from initial concept to post event analysis. This includes pre-event planning and development, concept development and proposal.

Working closely with the Head of Capital Appeal and Senior Philanthropy and Partnerships Manager, you will design and deliver events which steward and develop key contacts as part of our Capital Appeal.

The role holder will have strong administration skills, attention to detail and work as part of a team.  You will be self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, managing a wide range of tasks.
