Role Summary
Bliss is the UK’s leading national charity for babies born premature or sick, and we are looking for a Digital Programme Lead to join our skilled and creative team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to take responsibility for developing, coordinating and overseeing the delivery of Bliss’ digital activities. This role works with colleagues across the organisation to ensure Bliss’ digital activities are delivered in line with Bliss’ strategic priorities, as well as being able to innovate and make the most of potential new technological or digital opportunities. The Digital Programme Lead will provide effective line management and support to the Digital Officer to ensure Bliss’ day to day digital operations are running smoothly
- Location: Hybrid, with a minimum of 3 days over 2 weeks worked in our London Bridge office
- Salary: £40,000 FTE (pro rata)
- Terms: 25-28 hours a week, 12-month fixed term contract starting mid-late Sept 2025
Role Details
This is an excellent opportunity for someone to take on the overall management of digital activity at Bliss, leading the Digital Team to deliver all core activities to maintain existing channels and services as well as leading the cross-team approach to planning and delivering digital innovation and improvement.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
•Significant experience in digital project management, agile working and the delivery of a website and other digital products and services
•Proven experience of digital innovation and a creative approach to finding solutions and solving technical issues
•Significant experience and understanding of user research / testing, and of managing agencies conducting this on our behalf; as well as co-creating digital products and services with users
•Up-to-date knowledge of digital trends and ability and appetite to keep up to date with advances in these as well as experience of translating these into proven digital enhancements
•Technical knowledge and expertise:
-Expertise in website CMS and a range of digital technologies
-Utilising search engine optimisation to increase the targeted traffic
-AB testing and piloting of digital projects
-Using CSS, HTML and PHP and excellent IT skills with the ability to use Word, Excel, and Adobe CS6, Indesign and Photoshop.
•Line management experience, and ability to lead and develop direct reports
•Proven ability to build effective internal and external relationships and to make digital accessible to non-digital people
•Exceptionally high attention to detail and desire to make a difference.

Job Title: Head Baker

About The Felix Project
The Felix Project is London’s largest food redistribution charity. Our vision is a London where good food is never wasted, and no one goes hungry. We aim to reduce the negative impact food waste has on the environment by working with the food industry to rescue high quality surplus produce, that would otherwise have gone to waste. This food is sorted at one of our four depots or turned into meals in Felix’s Kitchen. It is then distributed to over 1,200 community organisations, such as food banks, homeless shelters and primary schools, all of whom are working within communities across London to feed people experiencing hunger.

Purpose of the Job
To be the driving force and manager of this new operation, you will join a brand-new operation with the chance to put your stamp on it and drive it forward into the future.
Whilst having the support structure of the wider Felix Production teams and West London Depot Operations team.
You will be the manager of this site and have overall responsibility for its day to day running, it is a hands-on role with most of the working day spent in the kitchen and running the bakery unit. At the beginning of the operation, you will be the only permanent employee there, but this team will expand to add an additional junior baker once fully operational. However, there is the Depot team and the wider production team who will be supporting the day to day as well.
We are a volunteer lead operation so you will have volunteers working alongside you to support the operation.
- In mid-2025 we will open our third production faciality, Felix Bakes. A small operation designed to help us rescue more surplus food and turn it into high value baked goods
- All these goods we make will go back to our brand-new West London Depot, based in the same trading estate and then delivered to some of the 1,200 Community Organisations we support around London
- A particular focus will be on seasonal produce gluts (carrots, courgettes, potatoes), meaning we can ensure more of this produce does not go to waste and add value to the people we support across London
- It will work in partnership with our second production faciality The Felix Food Factory, which will be able to process and/or freeze some of these seasonal gluts into an easier to use format for Felix Bakes
- We are launching this operation in partnership with Deliveroo, who have gifted us the use of this space.
· The Felix Bakes Kitchen is a unit within a wider “dark” kitchen site, which has onsite support and management of the whole unit.
Duties and Accountabilities
- Be the lead manager of this new operation
- Volunteer and staff management
- Support in the creation and delivery of all required H&S, Food Safety and HACCAP plans
- Working with all internal stake holders across the departments at the Felix Project to maximise the output and impact of the unit
- Reporting on and delivering against the units stated KPI’s and development goals
- Participate and conduct internal and external audits, meeting the required standards
- To be the figure head of the project, including internal and some external promotion of the new operation
- Driving continuous development of our product range and reacting to the changing nature of our food supply
- Fully accountable for the units’ outputs and safety standards, reporting and working closely alongside the Head of Production to ensure all standards are met.

The roles will lead on planning and project managing delivery of a variety of media channels, both online and offline. The successful candidates will have significant direct marketing expertise with a strong background in project managing multiple campaigns across a range of channels, ideally in a fundraising role, and with proven success at recruiting new donors. You will have a passion for fundraising with a commercial understanding of the charity marketplace and competitors. As well as previous experience in identifying areas of innovation and devising testing plans to launch and roll out, you will also have a track record in successfully leveraging value from data collated on supporter databases, to maximise targeting and data segmentation.

Global Programme Manager (Lebanon)

The Programme Manager is an exciting and influential role at RCPCH Global, a specialist unit within the College, in which you will lead the management of our Early Child Development and Disability programme work in Lebanon and the wider Middle East region; you will also be responsible for supporting smaller programme development with our partner, the Paediatric Association of Sierra Leone. Based in our London office, you will oversee the implementation of the programmes, including the delivery of high-quality programme activities.
As Programme Manager, you will monitor and manage all financial and budgetary aspects of the programme in compliance with donor requirements and take the lead on all programme reporting to donors, maintaining and ensuring high-quality programme monitoring and evaluation processes are adhered to. You will also provide strategic/backstopping technical support on Maternal, Newborn and Child Health programme design, budget formulation, financial and activity reporting and M&E with the other members of the Global Team.
Crucially, you will be responsible for liaising with local programme counterparts and stakeholders in the field, which may include regular field visits. You will also take the lead on the recruitment and management of short- and/or long-term programme volunteer clinicians, as well as short-term advisory consultants, for the programme.
You will lead, with the Global Team members, on wider donor liaison, including development of fundraising strategies and target donor institutions, and you will help develop new programme grant agreements, as well as promoting RCPCH Global activities to external stakeholders.
Suitably qualified in international development, public health, international and global health, health systems strengthening and child health, or with equivalent work experience, you should have excellent project/programme management skills and have a background in a relevant international/development management or implementation role.
With demonstrable experience of designing, initiating and leading complex programme development processes, including with senior government counterparts, local partner organisations and international and multilateral donor agencies, you should have a significant understanding of budget management and financial reporting, including to bilateral and multilateral donors.
Previous experience of successfully managing large complex programmes, including supporting field-programme teams both remotely and in the field, within the international development and/or health sectors is essential, in particular with experience in working with Palestinian communities both in-situ in the West Bank and Gaza, and in other refugee camp environments as well as broader experience of working in developing countries is highly desirable.
Although based in London, this role may include some travel to Lebanon and other countries/regions as required.
RCPCH Global is a unit within RCPCH which designs and manages a range of international projects and programmes to improve neonatal, child and adolescent health, primarily in sub-Saharan Africa, Asia and the Middle East. Our programmes use teams of skilled clinicians and other health professionals to work with counterparts in targeted low-income countries to train and mentor doctors, nurses and other health workers, as a means of helping to build the capacity and quality of the health systems in those countries.
The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health sets and maintains standards for the education and training of all doctors working in paediatrics and child health in the UK. We advocate on child health issues at home and internationally. Additionally, through a variety of activities, the College influences the quality of medical practice for children in hospital and in the community.
The RCPCH has more than 23,000 members and fellows and employs around 200 staff, most of whom work in our London office in Holborn. Main purpose of the job

The Grants Officer will support the Senior Manager to develop and implement monitoring and reporting
processes across the Foundation’s grant-giving activities. To be successful in the role, you must have

Key Responsibilities
Youth Empowerment Fund (60%):
- Support the monitoring and reporting of the EU funded YEF programme. Including coordinationwithin the IAF and with the Big 6 designated leads.
- Communicating with and activating networks of national organizations to participate in the YEF,including sharing opportunities to take part in Big 6 advocacy activities and applying for youthled solutions open-call Local Solutions grants.
- Issuing of grants to successful national organizations and monitoring and evaluation, including regular reporting on outcomes and impact of national projects to the YEF project team.

Contributing to key internal working groups will be another key aspect of the role, as well as monitoring and responding to requests for evidence. At West London Synagogue (WLS), we have made a commitment to helping London’s most vulnerable residents regardless of faith and background. We run 2 drop-ins each month. Our Family drop-in welcomes families with children and of all faiths and ethnic origins who are seeking asylum in the UK. We rely on volunteers to help provide a hot meal, grocery vouchers, toiletries, companionship, and advice for families who have fled life-threatening violence or persecution in their countries of origin.
As well, as our Family drop-in, we run the monthly 'Rainbow' Group.LGBTQI+ asylum seekers in the UK face the same challenges that most asylum seekers face in the UK. In addition, they face further challenges since their sexual orientation WLS opens its doors once a month to provide a safe space for LGBTQI+ asylum seekers to feel a warm community welcome, to build community together, and to receive vital support whilst living in poverty awaiting a decision on their asylum application.
