The International Chief Outreach Officer (ICOO) will assume responsibility for all international communications, outreach and emerging countries and reports to the International Chief Executive Officer
This position will ensure that the ministry is maximising its potential and impact in raising prayers, awareness and donations for Barnabas Aid, whilst upholding its distinct Christian identity.

The Marine Society & Sea Cadets (MSSC) is a vibrant and growing charity delivering life changing nautical adventure for young people through the Sea Cadets to give them the best possible head start in life. We also provide personal and professional development opportunities for seafarers with the Marine Society. Working with our staff, cadets, and volunteers, we have built a vision and five-year strategy to take us forward and further improve the astounding contribution already made through our work to the lives of thousands of young people and seafarers, while fully supporting our volunteers who are vital to our success.

We are currently looking for an OTW Project Assistant who will support the delivery of the On The Water project at one of our boating stations in Edinburgh. The project provides young people from outside Sea Cadets, age 9-14, the opportunity to get on the water, learn new skills and build confidence through boating activity. This is a very varied and rewarding role that requires someone who is self-motivated, inspiring, organised, creative, tenacious, positive, IT competent and with a real interest in people with a attention to detail and real enthusiasm for the project.

Project delivery at Port Edgar Boat Station takes place between 30th July 2025 and 1st August 2025 when the young people will be attending boating sessions. During this busy time the Project Assistant will be based at the boat station each day to complete registration, manage group change overs, track project targets, encourage survey completion and fill booking gaps. Prior to delivery at Crosby, the role will be focused on supporting the booking process and engaging in community outreach. Once delivery is complete, the Project Assistant role will then predominantly be supporting the evaluation and data collection as well as supporting participants to join their local Sea Cadet unit.

The On The Water project is running at two further sites in London and Birmingham for an extended delivery period. The post holder for Crosby will also support delivery at the other 2 sites outside of their own delivery period where needed. This may be virtual administration support or require travel where expenses are paid.

Key Responsibilities

• The welcoming and registration of participants for the On The Water project
• Collecting and uploading daily statistics and figures that show how the project is progressing
• Making new and repeat bookings
• Talking to participants and their parents/carers about the opportunities within Sea Cadets
• Managing a waiting list and reducing drop-outs
• Responsible for the safety and wellbeing of participants alongside the Boat Station staff
• Ensure that participants complete surveys to share their experience of the project and encourage adults to feedback on their young people’s experience
• Attend any meetings as required by the project
• Assist with the evaluation of the On The Water project

Job Title: Head of Maintenance and Estates

About the role

Reporting to the Director of Housing, we are looking for a Head of Maintenance and Estates to lead on the effective delivery of an efficient and customer focused maintenance and estate service across our properties within SIG. Managing a small team, you will focus on management and leadership activities to empower staff to achieve high quality results in the service. You will take oversight of the Maintenance and Estates function, to ensure the smooth running of upkeep and repair operations, working with various teams internally and externally to build sustainable working relationships.

You will have overall responsibility for ensuring policies and processes are up to date and that the way the function is run has continuous improvement. You will lead with creating and implementing a strategic plan, supporting with short to medium to long term objectives. You will work to ensure properties and estates are kept safe, to required standards and lead the team towards achieving the SIG ‘Good Homes’ standard.

About you

We are looking for someone who has extensive experience in managing similar repairs and estates services and who is able to lead a team to be empowered to provide a high-quality service. You will be able to to develop and implement maintenance plans, strategies, and procedures, and have confidence to take ownership of your department, making key decisions.

• Management and leadership experience, including with direct line of reports and indirect
• Experience in developing and implementing formal maintenance plans, strategies, and procedures with a key eye to detail
• Experience in directing and delivering customer service functions, ideally in a repairs and maintenance or cleaning context
• Experience in completing and managing risk assessments

The Programme Manager is an exciting and influential role at RCPCH Global, a specialist unit within the College, in which you will lead the management of our Early Child Development and Disability programme work in Lebanon and the wider Middle East region; you will also be responsible for supporting smaller programme development with our partner, the Paediatric Association of Sierra Leone. Based in our London office, you will oversee the implementation of the programmes, including the delivery of high-quality programme activities.

As Programme Manager, you will monitor and manage all financial and budgetary aspects of the programme in compliance with donor requirements and take the lead on all programme reporting to donors, maintaining and ensuring high-quality programme monitoring and evaluation processes are adhered to. You will also provide strategic/backstopping technical support on Maternal, Newborn and Child Health programme design, budget formulation, financial and activity reporting and M&E with the other members of the Global Team.

Crucially, you will be responsible for liaising with local programme counterparts and stakeholders in the field, which may include regular field visits. You will also take the lead on the recruitment and management of short- and/or long-term programme volunteer clinicians, as well as short-term advisory consultants, for the programme.

You will lead, with the Global Team members, on wider donor liaison, including development of fundraising strategies and target donor institutions, and you will help develop new programme grant agreements, as well as promoting RCPCH Global activities to external stakeholders.

Suitably qualified in international development, public health, international and global health, health systems strengthening and child health, or with equivalent work experience, you should have excellent project/programme management skills and have a background in a relevant international/development management or implementation role. 

With demonstrable experience of designing, initiating and leading complex programme development processes, including with senior government counterparts, local partner organisations and international and multilateral donor agencies, you should have a significant understanding of budget management and financial reporting, including to bilateral and multilateral donors.

Previous experience of successfully managing large complex programmes, including supporting field-programme teams both remotely and in the field, within the international development and/or health sectors is essential, in particular with experience in working with Palestinian communities both in-situ in the West Bank and Gaza, and in other refugee camp environments as well as broader experience of working in developing countries is highly desirable.

Although based in London, this role may include some travel to Lebanon and other countries/regions as required. 

RCPCH Global is a unit within RCPCH which designs and manages a range of international projects and programmes to improve neonatal, child and adolescent health, primarily in sub-Saharan Africa, Asia and the Middle East. Our programmes use teams of skilled clinicians and other health professionals to work with counterparts in targeted low-income countries to train and mentor doctors, nurses and other health workers, as a means of helping to build the capacity and quality of the health systems in those countries. 

The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health sets and maintains standards for the education and training of all doctors working in paediatrics and child health in the UK. The Director of Finance and & Operations will provide strategic and operational leadership across the following key areas: finance, people, governance, legal, facilities, and risk. They will lead a multidisciplinary internal services team and work closely with the Director, Senior Management Team, and Board of Trustees.

Major priorities will include embedding a new finance system, supporting the successful delivery of a cross-organisational CRM implementation, and the next five-year strategy and financial plan.

This position requires a qualified accountant with strong strategic planning and commercial acumen, ideally with experience supporting income growth and business innovation in a complex, values-driven organisation. They will be a natural relationship builder with excellent interpersonal, influencing, and communication skills.

While prior experience in the arts, heritage, or charity sectors is welcome, it’ is not essential. What matters most is a genuine passion for Art Fund’s mission to make art and culture accessible to all.

The purpose of the role is to lead an outstanding IT service across the Trust and cultivate a high performing team that supports all staff, people we support and other stakeholders.

Reporting to the Resource Director, the role will be key in supporting the digital transformation agenda, providing IT and data expertise that will enable higher quality of life for adults with learning disabilities and maximise efficiencies within the services that we provide. 

Main Responsibilities   

• Developing the IT strategy in alignment with the Trust wide strategic goals and evolving digital transformation priorities;

• Oversee the Trust’s approach to Cyber security, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and best practice. Being the subject matter expert for the organisation.

• Oversee the Trust’s data and privacy framework, ensuring compliance with GDPR and other data protection laws and training and educating staff as required on data protection measures; 

• Lead, mentor and develop the IT team of four, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement;

• Prepare and manage the IT department budget, optimising resource allocation to achieve maximum value and efficiency and ensuring the team is equipped with the necessary skills and resources; 

• Oversee the development, implementation and maintenance of the Trust’s IT systems; 

• Providing IT expertise and advice for the software owners across the Charity including supporting the development of management reporting using Power BI;

• Support the development of an environment of digital innovation and best practice, ensuring the use of technologies for the benefit of the diversity of the people we support; 

• Support any technology implementation plans ensuring all technology solutions are project managed effectively. To supports team members to ensure they identify risks, contingency plans and engage with stakeholders for effective collaboration; 

• To lead on procurement and contract negotiations with vendors of IT systems and software providers, ensuring ITTs and contract awards are in line with the Trust policies and value for money is achieved;

• Producing regular reports on KPIs for the IT team and reporting reasons for variances against target

What you’ll bring to the role:   

• Recognised Degree in Business IT or Computer Science related discipline or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience 

• Proven track record in a senior management digital transformation position.

• 6+ years’ digitalisation experience. 

• 5+ years Project Management experience.

• Excellent working knowledge of Power BI 

• Proven track record on delivering complex projects. 

• Experience of having designed, implemented, and evaluated organisational transformation digital solutions and has delivered change that added value to the organisation. 

• Highly effective change agent who engages with senior stakeholders to deliver the digital program to the organisation. 

• Benchmarking skills and identifies best practice and knowledge of the digital landscape of organisations. 

• High degree of budget management experience associated with digital technology design and its adaptation. 

• Has strong relationships with approved vendors and with software suppliers of digital services to ensure effective delivery of digital technologies/systems. 

Location & Travel 

Remote based - Home 

Home-based with regular travel to visit Communities in Hertfordshire, Gloucestershire, Yorkshire, and Worcestershire. Occasional overnight stays will be required. Ideally you will be located within travel corridors of Midlands to London or Manchester to York.

The Role 

We are looking for an experienced Social Worker to join our London & South East Team supporting children and young people diagnosed with cancer.

We pride ourselves on delivering the highest quality support tailored to the needs of the children and young people and their families. The work we do is rewarding but also complex and demanding. You will be part of a close-knit Young Lives vs Cancer social work team, working with an established NHS multi-disciplinary team and services in the community.

This role is part home, part site-based. Your contractual base will be both Home and Hospital.

• Lead on the resolution of issues as they arise and all partner contract negotiations.

• Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead, including liaising with external bodies (LADO, MASH) to support on-going cases. ​

• Maintain safeguarding logs and develop and deliver training.

• Oversee and improve policies and provide regular touch-points for staff.

• Ensure your knowledge of safeguarding and the education sector is up-to-date, including KCSIE as well as wider sector trends.​

Our dedicated and friendly team of nine staff are based in central Bath and we are seeking someone to join us in the Partnerships team to focus on supporting fundraising and stewarding high-net worth individuals, alongside supporting the wider work of the Partnerships Team to grow income from Trusts and Foundations.

Working with the Senior Partnerships Manager and Partnerships Assistant you will focus on stewarding, reporting to and securing income from our portfolio of existing high net worth individuals. Leading on the stewardship of a select portfolio of donors, supporting with mailings, appeals and thanking as well as developing prospects with the Individual Giving Team.

As part of a small energetic team, you will also support with specific projects and busy periods such as supporting the BBC Radio 4 Appeal and covering workloads during in-country visits to Ethiopia.

Ethiopiaid is a small charity that makes a big impact in Ethiopia. Our approach is simple, and it works. Since 1989, we have partnered with local NGOs in Ethiopia to provide the funding they need to put their programmes into action.

The projects we fundraise for range from maternal health, education, and disability to opportunities for women and girls, ending harmful practices, palliative care, health and emergency & recovery work. We support our partners to strengthen their capacity and deliver locally led programmes to transform lives at a grassroots level.

Main areas of responsibility, but not limited to:

Fundraising:

• Support income generation from a specific portfolio of high net worth individuals ‘Major Donors and Major Donor Prospects’
• Support delivery of the Major Donor mailing cycles and bespoke mailings including editing, data, printing and sorting.
• Ensure all donations are thanked and acknowledged in a professional and timely manner via relevant channels and by appropriate staff.
• Working to ensure online and offline communications include or exclude high net worth individuals in line with strategy and bespoke communication plans.
• Working with staff who manage our website to create and maintain bespoke landing pages and Partnership website pages
• Liaise with members of the wider team, specifically those working in Individual Giving to ensure; materials produced are always accurate & on brand and high net worth individuals receive any relevant communications produced by other teams
• Support wider fundraising activities and special appeals that involve high-net worth individuals
• Deliver on team KPIs and financial targets

Stewardship:

• Support Snr Partnerships Manager to ensure high net worth individuals bespoke Action plans are actioned and kept up to date.
• Support the stewardship of Major Donor Prospects and support development of donor pathways
• Lead on Major Donors Regular Giving stewardship:
• Working to uplift recurring gifts
• Secure new recurring gifts from Major Donors
• Coordinate a monthly regular giving membership newsletter Tibbir along with the Fundraising Officer (Individual Giving)

Support to the Partnerships Team

• Sharing partner project and budget updates as received
• Attend relevant Monitoring and Evaluation meetings (online)
• Support and provide cover during Partnerships Team members visiting Ethiopia
• Supporting the stewardship of family Trusts (managed by Partnerships Assistant – Trusts & Foundations focus)
• Prospect Research (managed by Partnerships Assistant – Trusts & Foundations focus)
• Potential to support out of office meetings and events

Administration:

• Ensure gifts received are coded correctly taking into account Gift Aid, appeals, specified funds.
