We are seeking an individual experienced in developing bids in response to tenders, research and consulting opportunities. We have an exciting opportunity to join Sovereign Network Group (SNG) as Head of Tenancy Sustainment. The Role
Reporting into our Customer and Neighbourhood Director, you'll be responsible for the development of strategies, policies and procedures relating to all tenancy sustainment activities. Being a specialist in this field, you'll also scan the horizon to identify potential significant changes in external policy and financial landscape, introducing best practice from other organisations and sectors.
You'll be the main point of contact internally for all matters relating to tenancy sustainment, working collaboratively across the business to ensure that consistent best practices are embedded within Locality teams and the wider business. Externally, you'll represent SNG and our commitment and vision in tenancy sustainment – influencing and working alongside key external stakeholders and delivery partners, building relationships aligned to our corporate and customer strategies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Working with internal and external stakeholders to provide and source expert advice, and manage the development of services, to ensure SNG meets its commitments, monitors its performance and evidences its delivery relating to regulatory obligations, changing regulations, guidance and best practice
- Developing and leading a stakeholder management plan across local, regional and national government bodies responsible for the delivery to specialist areas
- Piloting partnerships with other services to enhance the provision of support to SNG's customers and developing funding solutions to provide support to core budgets
- Managing large complex annual budgets, ensuring appropriate monitoring of expenditure and compliance with procedures and levels of approval
- Ensuring that the appropriate training and development programs for Locality teams are in place across a range of areas, including domestic abuse, safeguarding and ASB
- Leading on all strategic and operational elements of service development across localities; proactively involving customers through engagement and scrutiny, to help shape and facilitate the co-creation of the service as required
- Articulating a clear vision, providing direction, and promoting a culture of accountability, high performance, and continuous improvement
What we need from you
Ideally you should have previous experience in a similar senior role, with strong experience and knowledge of the latest requirements for housing providers across tenancy sustainment. You'll also need:
- Excellent demonstrable knowledge of programme development and performance improvement in a customer focussed environment
- Ability to plan, track and forecast income and expenditure against relevant budgets, to deliver a value for money service whilst taking actions to mitigate any risks
- Evidence of delivering on innovative concepts, utilising future changes in policy to support flexibility in a responsive organisation
- Experience of promoting an organisation at a regional and national level to raise the profile of the business
- Ability to inspire, support and develop others to optimise their performance
- Track record of meeting deadlines and working effectively with others in a complex and dynamic environment
- To have strong people skills and be an effective communicator, able to influence and challenge
- Proficiency in Microsoft office suite with intermediate or advanced excel skills

The British Academy – the UK’s national body for the humanities and social sciences - is seeking a Membership and Training Assistant to join the Early Career Researcher Network (ECRN) team, supporting the delivery of our inclusive, researcher-led network for early career researchers working across the SHAPE disciplines.
The role
The ECRN Membership and Training Assistant will play a key role in providing administrative support for the Early Career Research Network. The role holder will work closely with the ECRN team and will interact with researchers, universities and other stakeholders, as well as academic Fellows and colleagues from across the Academy.
You will support the ECRN Membership Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Network’s membership function. Key responsibilities include monitoring membership workflows, responding to member enquiries in a timely and professional manner, and serving as a primary point of contact for early career researchers interested in joining the Network.
The primary focus of this role will be managing membership and data-related activities, but you will also be providing administrative and logistical support for the Leadership and Advancement Programme and wider Network as required.
You will be confident using Microsoft Office programmes daily, such as Outlook, Excel and Teams and will be supporting with online events through Zoom. You will have to keep membership records up to date on our CRM database, Salesforce and communicate with our members.
The role holder will gain a proficient understanding of our membership policies and procedures and support the management of our online community platform.
You will be expected to travel across the UK from time to time to attend events and meetings with our delivery partners and other key stakeholders where appropriate.

The Head of Social Policy leads the development of our thinking across public service reform, social security and housing. This role develops - and is responsible for the effective delivery of a NEF-wide social policy strategy and of projects that are delivering on this strategy. The Head of Social Policy acts as a key spokesperson for NEF and promotes our work at a local, regional and national level.
As NEF has a particular strategic focus on transforming the way policy is made so that it better reflects the lived experience of the people, communities and movements that most need change, we look to heads across our different themes to help develop and test new approaches to policy and advocacy.
The Head of Social Policy generates project ideas, oversees the development of quantitative and qualitative research, leads funding bids and manages day-to-day funder relationships. This role leads a team which both develops our thinking on social policy and provides expertise to other teams at NEF.

This role plays a key part in the delivery of Operation Smile UK’s retention programme, generating income and retaining existing cash and regular giving donors. Key Responsibilities
Campaign Delivery & Coordination
· Deliver cultivation and retention campaigns, setting up and developing schedules in Asana and coordinating all required stakeholders.
· Manage timelines to ensure all activity is delivered on time and to plan.
· Compile campaign costs and track expenditure against budgets, flagging issues as they arise.
Creative, Data & Fulfilment Management
- Develop campaign briefs for creative, data output, print and fulfilment for review by internal teams and suppliers.
- Manage the creative sign-off process: collate feedback from stakeholders and ensure briefing accuracy to suppliers.
- Proof all campaign materials to maintain brand integrity and accuracy.
Digital & Email Communications
- Support the development of donor emails in line with agreed campaign structures.
- Coordinate the production and scheduling of email content in collaboration with the communications and data and tech team.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Compile campaign results for analysis and provide reports to inform future activity.
- Work closely with data teams to ensure appropriate segmentation and tracking.
Donor Stewardship
- Support the thank-you process, including personalising and developing donor thank-you cards as required.
- Contribute to improving supporter journeys and experiences through campaign touchpoints, especially for regular givers.
