As we approach our 60th Anniversary, we are fuelled by a newfound energy, armed with a freshly created organisational strategy, and led by a dynamic senior leadership team. Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll play a pivotal role in driving our mission forward by leading the development and implementation of impactful content strategies.
As the Head of Content and Impact, you'll be at the forefront of shaping our content strategy to maximize our reach and influence. You will ensure we craft compelling and curriculum-aligned content that resonates with children and young people across various platforms. Your responsibilities will include developing innovative content strategies, creating captivating educational material, measuring impact, and fostering stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities (please see JD for further details):
- Develop, implement and evaluate a comprehensive content strategy aligned with the Theory of Change and organisational objectives.
- Craft captivating content tailored to diverse audiences, exceeding educational standards and resonating with young learners.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure content consistency and alignment with brand messaging.
- Measure the effectiveness of content initiatives through rigorous impact assessment processes.
- Collaborate closely with a dynamic network of external freelancers and internal subject matter experts, pooling diverse talents to produce innovative and immersive content experiences.
- Facilitate meetings and workshops between key stakeholders to co-create content and align strategies, ensuring children and young people’s needs and voices are at the heart of everything we do.
- Develop and nurture relationships with these stakeholders to gather insights, feedback, and collaboration opportunities.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to drive innovation and differentiation in content strategy and execution.
Requirements (please see JD for full person specification):
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Proven track record of effective teaching and course development, with demonstrated improvements in student outcomes.
- Proficiency in curriculum design methodologies and instructional technologies.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts effectively.
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in education.
- Willingness to engage in continuous professional development and stay abreast of emerging trends.
- Dedication to student success and engagement, demonstrated through a student-centered teaching philosophy and commitment to accessibility.
Desirable:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant STEM subject.
- PhD or interest in undertaking a PhD relevant to the role.

We’re searching for a talented Buyer to join the trading support team. This is a fast-paced department responsible for a broad range of product ranges. We work with some of the biggest brands across the market to deliver the most competitive ranges to our members. This is a unique role with the opportunity to build key relationships with cross-functional teams, contribute to the development of the departmental strategy and build partnerships with market leading brands.
We’re looking for an experienced purchasing professional who is highly motivated, enthusiastic and looking for a new challenge.
The successful candidate will report directly into the Senior Buyer supporting with supplier and category management and assisting with the tender process for designated product categories.
Who you are
You’ll have Buying experience or transferable skills in a relevant purchasing role and will be able to demonstrate a proven understanding and passion for buying.
We’re looking for someone who:
• Has experience of negotiating
• Is confident in working to a critical path and able to prioritise accordingly
• Has good communication skills and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
• Is able to deputise for the Senior Buyer in key meetings
• Has strong numerical, analytical and organisation skills
• Is highly motivated with the ability to use their own initiative

Nursery Practitioner (Level 3) | 40 hours per week | £12.06 per hour | YMCA St James’s Road Day Nursery, Dudley
We are looking for a Nursery Practitioner at YMCA St James’s Road Day Nursery, Dudley. The Nursery offers childcare places for up to 100 children, providing a warm and welcoming environment where families can feel valued and obtain positive help and support.
Responsibilities for the role of a Nursery Practitioner include but aren’t limited to:
· Contributing to promoting good practice and maintaining a high-quality provision
· Completing observations, planning, and prepare a variety of learning enriched activities for your key group using the Early Years Foundation Stage
· Offering support and guidance to parents/carers enabling them to extend their own skills, and by boosting their confidence and self-esteem, ensure the emotional wellbeing of their child.
You will be a qualified and efficient nursery practitioner, with a childcare qualification, ideally with experience of planning and implementing the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum and be motivated and passionate about working with children and their families and strive to provide a safe and stimulating learning environment for children to grow and develop.
