Title of Consultancy: Field Entomologist
Location: Aguigadji, Ketou District (field-based, with regular reporting to the Sightsavers country team)
Background of Project Work
The Bellec Trap project supports the field implementation of entomological material evaluation in Aguigadji, Ketou District. The consultant will oversee this community-based project, focusing on strengthening the capacity of blackfly collectors, organising the analysis of entomological indices, and coordinating and monitoring project activities in the field.
What this project work will focus on
The consultant will be responsible for:
- Training blackfly collectors on SOPs for human-landing-catch and Bellec trap collection
- Daily equipment checks and provision of essential materials
- Anticipating and addressing equipment shortages
- Assessing the physiological condition of collected blackflies and identifying vector species
- Calculating entomological indices and documenting trap placements
- Collaborating with Principal Investigators to develop SOPs for virtual supervision
- Identifying and mitigating challenges in project implementation
- Providing regular documentation (images and video) of trap placements
Key responsibilities
- Strengthen the capacity of blackfly collectors for Bellec trap and HLC collection
- Organise the analysis of entomological indices
- Coordinate and monitor the implementation of the project in the field
- Supervise and report to the Sightsavers country team
Duration of the consultancy
The consultancy will last six months, split into two phases:
- Phase 1: 17 November 2025 – 17 February 2026
- Phase 2: 1 August 2026 – 31 October 2026
Payment terms
The agreed budget for this consultancy will be discussed during the interview process. Consultants with a proven track record in the areas outlined will be engaged through an expression of interest process. Consultant’s expertise
- Master of Science in Medical and/or Veterinary Entomology or a related field
- At least five years’ experience in entomological fieldwork
- Experience with electronic data collection applications (e.g., Kobo Collect, ODK Collect)
- Proven experience in analysing and interpreting entomological data
- Experience as a supervisor and trainer in entomological surveillance and data collection
- Practical experience in morphological identification and dissection of blackflies
- Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure in an emergency context
- Excellent command of French (professional fluency in English desirable)

· participating in recruitment activities and training for prospective adopters
About you:
As a Social Worker, you’ll bring a minimum of 2 years post qualification experience in childcare social work and as a Senior Social Worker, a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience. You’ll have an understanding of child development and the impact on behaviour of interrupted development. You’ll have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrate a commitment to equality, diversity, equity and inclusion within service delivery.

About the Role
As Trade Supervisor, you will oversee and assist with the delivery of all the trade work required throughout the organisation, ensuring safe completion to a high quality and within budget and agreed timescales.
Key responsibilities include:
- Line manage the trade teams supporting and liaising as necessary in driving improvements within the service.
- Support the Operations Manager to manage, motivate, recruit, train and develop staff.
- Work with colleagues in ensuring that 24-hour breakdown and emergency cover is scheduled.
- Manage external suppliers, consultants and contractors engaged in works.
- Provide the day-to-day support on energy and utility management including consumption reduction and efficiencies.
- Take responsibility for the delivery of all trade work as allocated.
- Assist in the planning, costing and liaison required for the effective delivery of works;
- Undertake the role of ‘working foreman’ delivering high quality work as well as ensuring the quality of the work of other trade staff.
- Carry out all 0-7 RIBA stages of works including all documentation from initial brief to completion ensuring compliance with statutory and non-statutory standards, health & safety, codes of practice, planning process O&M’s, and building regulations.
- Manage all permit to works, quotations, purchase orders, invoices, risk assessments, method statements, programme and budgets throughout the design, tender, construction, handover and post-construction phases
About You
We are looking for someone with an appropriate City & Guilds trade qualification/NVQ and/or relevant experience.
You will also have:
- Experience of supervising a large and varied team
- Demonstrate experience in a variety of maintenance and construction trades
- Knowledge and experience of effective management of Health & Safety
- Experience of interpreting drawings, specifications and schedules
- Able to demonstrate good organisational skills with experience of working on a variety of projects
- Demonstrate the ability to make good decisions under pressure and deliver on deadlines
- UK full valid driving licence

The Royal Court Theatre has an exciting opportunity for someone to join the Front of House team as a Box Office Supervisor.
The Box Office Supervisor is a key role in the Front of House Team and will work closely with the Box Office Manager, Front of House Manager, and General Manager, to support the day-to-day operations of the box office and provide excellent customer service via telephone, email and in person to all Royal Court customers.

Main role requirements:
- Post qualifying experience in family placement work or post qualifying experience in other childcare settings.

Purpose of the Job
HFEH Mind is recruiting Trainee CYP-PT Therapy practitioners for the Autism Spectrum Condition & Learning Disabilities (ASC/LD) modality for the January 2026 intake at University College London. These posts are trainee roles in which postholders are employed by HFEH Mind and concurrently enrolled as students on the UCL/Anna Freud PG Diploma in CYP-PT: Therapy.
Trainees are employees of HFEH Mind, and will undertake workplace placement duties under supervision while completing the academic and practice requirements of the postgraduate diploma. The role combines practical, placement-based clinical work with academic study and requires the ability to balance these demands.
Course start date: 19th January 2026
Training Information
This full-time training will begin in January 2026 with around 2.5 days a week for academic work (teaching and personal study), and 2.5 days based at the service seeing clients (children, young people, and carers) related to training assignments. Trainees will be both an employee of the service and an enrolled student with UCL/Anna Freud. Upon completion, qualified trainees will receive a UCL Postgraduate Diploma.

Antenatal Results and Choices (ARC) are a UK-wide charity offering impartial information and specialist support to parents undergoing antenatal testing. ARC also partners with healthcare professionals to promote high-quality, equitable care.
We are recruiting an ARC Project Coordinator, who will lead a project aimed at improving pregnancy aspirations and readiness in communities, particularly those less likely to engage with maternity services. The project will focus on healthy conversations, accessible and accurate information, and equitable access to interventions, helping reduce inequalities and support informed pregnancy choices.
The coordinator will also be responsible for recruiting, training, and supervising a small team of volunteers who will help deliver some parts of the project.
