- At least five years’ experience in digital fundraising and marketing in a charity or mission-driven organisation

- Experience developing and delivering multi-channel digital campaigns with measurable impact
- Experience using analytics tools
- Project management experience

About the Role

A stimulating and rewarding opportunity has arisen for a Practitioner Psychologist with a Forensic background. You will work alongside the Group Psychological Lead and other members of the team within our Independent Approved Premises (IAP) to deliver psychological services to residents and staff. In this role, you will apply your skills and knowledge in building new teams and expand our operational delivery within our IAP. You will play a strategic role in our organisational growth with new services, with a focus on shaping service delivery; offering specialist advice, supervising assistant psychologists and postgraduate research.

Our IAP's support people who have left prison and are based within a residential setting to reintegrate into the community. They are given support and guidance to aid their reablement, resettlement and rehabilitation post prison. You will contribute towards them achieving goals necessary for their personal development and move on within the community. 

Key Responsibilities include:

• Providing high quality psychological services, contributing to the delivery of Approved Premises aims as specified by the Ministry of Justice.
• Ensuring all services are delivered in accordance with HCPC standards of conduct, performance and ethics.
• Demonstrating clinical leadership by setting direction for the psychological service and driving high standards for quality, safety and ongoing improvement.
• Exercising clinical responsibility for residents’ psychological care, showing skill and judgement in selecting appropriate assessments and interventions.
• Consulting with other parties contributing to a resident’s diagnosis, formulation, treatment and risk management in the community.
• Create opportunities to collaborate with peers including AP-based psychologists nationally and OPD pathway psychologists delivering services to APs.
• Model and facilitate a welcoming and inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and respected.

About You

The Role

The team support local areas to use evidence to improve their services and outcomes for children and families. The Senior Practice Development Adviser will work with local leaders to support their decision-making on how to increase the availability of services and approaches that have evidence of improving child outcomes.

Role Description

The Safeguarding Officer will lead and oversee all aspects of safeguarding within St Edmundsbury Cathedral, ensuring that the Cathedral remains a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for children, young people, and vulnerable adults.

You will be responsible for ensuring that the Cathedral meets all statutory safeguarding obligations and complies fully with the Church of England’s national safeguarding policies, diocesan frameworks, and relevant legislation. This includes proactively identifying potential risks, responding appropriately to safeguarding concerns, and ensuring effective reporting and case management in partnership with the Diocesan Safeguarding Team and statutory agencies.

Beyond compliance, this role is about embedding a culture of care, accountability, and transparency across the Cathedral community. You will support clergy, staff, and volunteers to understand their safeguarding responsibilities, ensure safer recruitment and training practices, and provide guidance and reassurance when safeguarding issues arise.

By acting as a source of expert advice, leadership, and advocacy, the Safeguarding Officer will help the Cathedral community uphold the highest standards of safety, dignity, and pastoral care, ensuring that everyone, regardless of age, background, or circumstance, can participate fully and confidently in Cathedral life.

The Cathedral Safeguarding Officer has operational authority within the Cathedral (subject to agreement with the Diocesan Safeguarding Officer with respect to responding to concerns and allegations against Church officers) for the following responsibilities, arranged according to the Church of England’s National Safeguarding Standards.

These four National Safeguarding Standards provide the framework for effective safeguarding practice across all Church settings:

Key Responsibilities

Strategic leadership

• Act as the Cathedral’s primary safeguarding lead, providing authoritative advice and operational oversight to the Chapter, leadership team, clergy, staff and volunteers.
• Ensure compliance with national Church of England safeguarding guidance, diocesan requirements and all relevant statutory legislation.
• Develop, maintain and drive a measurable safeguarding action plan and improvement programme, ensuring policies and practice are implemented consistently across Cathedral activities.
• Produce clear, timely safeguarding reports and briefings for Chapter and committees translating case and compliance information into strategic recommendations.

We’re looking for an experienced Facilities Manager to be our named competent person for statutory compliance; covering health & safety, fire, water hygiene, electrical safety and environmental standards. Using your legal expertise, you will play a key role in tackling housing injustice and unfair housing practices. You will be working under our Legal Aid contract, delivering legal advice and representing tenants at court where needed. About The Team

Our Legal Service provides specialist legal knowledge across Shelter through four teams covering Community Legal advice, Strategic Litigation, the National Legal Team and Legal Support Team. Wintercomfort is a small Cambridge charity supporting people who are homeless, vulnerably housed or at risk of losing their homes. Role Summary

As a member of Wintercomfort’s Team, reporting to the Services Manager the Day Centre Team Leader role is responsible for supervising the weekend locum team, delivering welfare services over the weekend, developing and delivering Wintercomfort’s range of welfare services and social, learning, and work opportunities aimed at supporting individuals out of the spiral of homelessness and back into mainstream society.

Purpose of the job

Our Project Workers are front line team members responsible for helping Wintercomfort to meet its objectives of supporting the homeless and vulnerably housed in Cambridge to make positive changes in their lives.

The role holder will play a vital part in delivering a broad range of services predominantly based at our centre, Overstream House, with some outreach work within the community. Tasks range from helping people who are sleeping rough to access our drop-in welfare service and access one-to-one key-working sessions with an assigned Project Worker. This is a varied, challenging and incredibly rewarding role working with some of the most vulnerable people in the community to change their lives for the better.

Key Responsibilities

• To be a member of the project worker team at the day centre providing a welcoming and safe environment in which welfare and learning and development services can be delivered.
• To be responsible for running the service at weekends and be a team leader to the Locums and weekend team.
• Be responsible for co-ordinating day to day tasks during opening hours and, as a member of the staff team, to deal with any breaches of policy or of the code of conduct.
• To support the delivery of Wintercomfort’s welfare service overseeing access to essential facilities such as meals, showers and laundry services at our centre.
• To provide one-to-one support with issues such as benefits claims, access to IT and support with online services and work with other professionals identifying individuals who require specific support in areas such as Housing, Recovery, Social Inclusion, Tenancy Support and Employment.
• To have line management responsibility for the Locum Weekend Team and to ensure that any safeguarding concerns are reported to the Services Manager.
• To provide occasional cover of the reception area, welcoming visitors to the centre.
• To ensure that accurate records are recorded during Wintercomfort’s activity time.
• To ensure any necessary referrals and signposting is offered/ conducted with Service Users.
