ZSL is seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Corporate Partnerships to lead the growth of high-impact corporate fundraising aligned with our mission to restore wildlife and create a world where nature thrives. In this senior leadership role, you will spearhead the development and implementation of ZSL’s Corporate Partnerships strategy, with a strong focus on income growth, innovation, and long-term value. Reporting to the Director of Development and working closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation, you will identify and unlock strategic opportunities, positioning ZSL as a trusted partner for forward-thinking businesses committed to sustainability and positive impact. This is a hybrid role, with an expectation of spending at least two days per week in the office, alongside client visits as part of relationship building and partnership activity.
Key responsibilities:
- Business Development: Draw on research to create a healthy pipeline, engaging new prospects and of developing positive relationships at senior levels. Identify and secure new corporate partnerships that align with ZSL's strategic goals, as well as commercial priorities.
- Strategic Partnership Development: Develop and implement innovative partnership models to attract and retain high-value (£1m+) corporate partners and provide unique opportunities for ZSL to raise its profile to new audiences.
- Spokesperson: Represent the ZSL brand in public to corporate Board level representatives, inspiring confidence in partners by demonstrating credibility, knowledge and professionalism.
- Corporate Membership: Grow the Corporate Membership programme, led by Corporate Partnerships Officer, ensuring exceptional experiences, value for members and a healthy ROI for ZSL.
- Internal Collaboration: Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders across ZSL to identify opportunities to collaborate, leading to enhanced partnerships and strengthening our opportunities to partner.
About You
- Proven experience of strategic corporate partnerships new business, including identifying, engaging, developing and managing strategic corporate partnerships with a track record of delivering income of seven figure and six figure partnerships.
- Previous experience in leading and developing teams, with a strong emphasis on coaching and supporting less experienced staff.
- Strong ability to influence senior stakeholders and work across a complex organisation, engaging with multiple stakeholders who have income generating responsibilities.
- Experience in monitoring and reporting on income and expenditure, ensuring alignment with budgetary plans.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present to and influence senior stakeholders, prospects and partners.

About the Role
The focus of this permanent role is to manage the development and growth of the Strategic Programmes, in line with the organisations new strategy and core mission to end youth homelessness. As a charitable trust the core purpose includes distributing grants to create sustainable routes out of homelessness and into sustainable independent living for young people.
The Strategic Programmes’ team are responsible for brokering services for charity partners that broaden the offer above and beyond the core grants in three different areas:

JOB PURPOSE

The Felix Project is London’s largest food redistribution charity. Our vision is a London where good food is never wasted, and no one goes hungry. We aim to reduce the negative impact food waste has on the environment by working with the food industry to rescue high quality surplus produce, that would otherwise have gone to waste. Purpose of the Job
We are looking for the Production Supervisor to play a key role in our brand-new Production team under project ‘Unit 17’.
You will be the on the ground senior leading the teams in the daily tasks to be completed, working as the connection between the management team and the team members and volunteers. Working hands on within all the production lines, leading by example and supporting the team across the operation.
This is an operational role, mainly based on the production floor but with a range of reporting and administrative tasks involved. You will report into the Production Manager and work closely with them on the day to day running of the unit as well as supporting covering their duties when they are away.
You will be supervising and supporting the teams to deliver on each day’s production targets as well as ensuring that all rules and HACCAP plans are followed correctly, providing real time feedback to the management team on any issues and resolutions taken.

In early/mid 2025, we opened our second production facility as part of the Coronation Food Project. The Coronation Food Project was set up to celebrate His Majesty King Charles 75th birthday and seeks to bridge the gap between food waste and food need across the UK.
We will be taking in surplus food from our supplier network and creating a range of products which have added value and extended shelf life. A particular focus will be seasonal produce gluts, using ingredients which we may otherwise not be able to redistribute.
Using four key processes (re-packaging, jarring / preserving, dehydrating and freezing), we will create a range of products which will be used in these three main ways:

Distributed to our partner community organisations as ‘ready to eat’ or ‘easy to use’ products for their service users - always delicious, achieving relevant safety standards and meeting the needs of the eventual end user.

Used in the East London Central Production Unit (CPU) to support creating Felix Ready Meals.

Used in Unit 17 in the creation of other products (for example frozen produce later used to make jarred sauces or preserves)
A typical day at Unit 17 will likely include planning new product/s based on the ingredients available that day, agreeing relevant food safety requirements and working in line with this, working with the production team and volunteers to prepare, produce and package delicious products, planning for future products and project work.

The Team Manager plays a central role in ensuring the refuge is a safe, trauma-informed, and welcoming space for women and children fleeing domestic abuse. Job Summary/Purpose:
Assisting the Gardens Manager in ensuring that Morden College gardens and grounds at Blackheath and at Beckenham are maintained as safe and appealing external spaces and to promote resident wellbeing by supporting hands on gardening activities.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Mowing, using all types of mowers, including ride-on mowers.
- Edging, trimming and maintaining lawns.
- Scarifying and spiking of lawns.
- Maintenance of fine turf areas including sports areas (including hammers and putting).
- Application of lawn fertilisers, use of hosepipes and sprinklers, watering of pots and urns.
- Planting and maintaining seasonal bedding, planting and maintaining shrubs and trees, pruning of fruit trees and shrubs, propagation of hard wood cuttings and potting up.
- Rose pruning and application of rose fertilisers, removing epicormic shoots from trees.
- Leaf clearing, using leaf blowers or rakes/brooms, make and apply compost.
- Application of rock salt or other specified materials and clearing snow and ice from pathways and roadways.
- The mixing and application of chemical sprays.
- Hedge trimming using both manual and power assisted equipment, single/double digging of areas both manually and using a rotavator.
- Carrying out soft landscaping.
- Carrying out basic brick edging, laying of slabs and timber and metal edging.
- Labelling and sign writing.
- Cleaning and maintaining horticultural machinery and hand tools, tidying up Grounds Department sheds, storage and compost areas, loading and unloading of skips, containers or other delivery vehicles, maintaining garden furniture and garden features, including, cleaning and the application of preservatives.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience
- C&G Stage 2 Amenity Horticulture
or
- RHS Certificate Horticulture Level 2 Practical and Theory
or
- NVQ Level 3 Amenity Horticulture
- A minimum of 3 years practical experience in horticulture
- Chain saw certificate
