This role is central to the smooth running of our new regional programme. As Programme Coordinator, you’ll work closely with the Programme Manager to support delivery, coordination, communication/engagement and administration.
You’ll be involved in everything from troubleshooting and responding to enquiries from schools, to preparing materials for stakeholders, updating delivery and engagement records on our CRM database, and helping gather data on programme impact. You’ll also support the development of case studies and feedback that help us communicate the difference the programme is making.

Job Description
As Fundraising Assistant you will be part of a growing and busy team currently responsible for raising £2.7million to fund the charity’s work to take on heart diseases. This role is integral to the team, supporting a variety of fundraising activity including our flagship anonymous heART project, third party challenges such as the London Marathon and Great North Run, fundraising activities organised by our supporters or third party challenges through an external supplier, digital fundraising activities as well as supporting some of our other income streams and administrative functions.
This is a brilliant role for someone looking to start a career in fundraising, giving broad experience across fundraising disciplines, with a particular focus on events, and scope to take on individual projects.
Given the nature of the role, it will require the postholder to be able to manage their time and workload effectively across a variety of tasks, while actively contributing to our work to generate income and achieve our targets.
Key Responsibilities
· To assist with the co-ordination and delivery of all art-related fundraising activities – including liaising with artists, promoting art sales and the anonymous heart project (in conjunction with the marketing team), and supporting the administration of these fundraising activities.
· To support third party challenge events (via external suppliers), including assisting with the administration, marketing, recruitment and stewardship of participants for such events as the London Marathon and the Great North Run and supporting with marathon event weekend activities.
· To support event day activities, including attending events to support our participants
· To steward supporters who are organising their own community fundraising activities, ensuring they feel valued and have everything they need for their events
· To come up with ideas and identify opportunities to deliver effective, exciting and appropriate fundraising activities
· Contribute to the planning and delivery of agreed national campaigns
· Provide additional administrative support across the fundraising team as needed – including but not limited to use of the database, thanking donations, sending out fundraising materials and packs etc. This includes providing cover for the Supporter Care Officer when they are on annual leave or on non-working days.
· Ensure all activities are carried out in an efficient and effective manner to meet agreed targets
· Ensure that our supporter database (Beacon) is kept up to date with accurate and timely information, in line with our processes and GDPR requirements
· Understand and comply with all internal fundraising policies and procedures, as well as working in line with the Fundraising Code of Practice, abiding at all times by the rules set out in the GDPR.

The Support Coach role involves:
- Supporting volunteer facilitators by coaching them through the opportunities, challenges and obstacles of running a Kids Matter programme
- Training and upskilling facilitators by helping run events and develop new resources

At Kids Matter, we are committed to delivering effective coaching. All Support Coaches are given the opportunity to go through the coaching accreditation process with ICF to become an Associate Certified Coach (ACC). Kids Matter provides the support and supervision for this to take place, and will cover the cost of the accreditation if the individual remains employed as a Support Coach for the two years following applying for accreditation. If the individual leaves before two years, a percentage of the accreditation cost will be required to pay back.

This is a great time to join GamCare as we are growing the reach of our services. We are looking for Gambling Support Practitioners with qualifications or experience in health or social care, and an empathic style to enable people to change their behaviour through skilled intervention.
Crucially, you will ensure that psychosocial, and recovery support interventions are delivered as part of a cohesive recovery plan while working collaboratively with external and partner organisations to achieve positive outcomes for service users.

The Role
The service aims to identify and address the needs of stroke survivors and carers across the stroke pathway, by providing a range of innovative support solutions, supporting them to meet their desired outcomes.
Reporting to the Stroke Service Delivery Coach, the Stroke Support Coordinator will:
- Support new stroke survivors and their carers from hospital discharge into the community.
- Provide personalised information, advice and support.

About You
The post holder will have experience/background in:
- A caring profession ideally with experience of supporting people with disabilities.

The Role
Working across West Yorkshire in members' homes and community, you will build trusted relationships with children and young people who are victim/survivors of domestic abuse alongside their parent / care giver. You will work closely with the Independent Domestic Violence Advocate (IDVA) to holistically support the family.
You will gain understanding of people’s strengths, interests and hobbies, whilst also building up knowledge of the needs of support, barriers and issues faced by Gypsies and Travellers.
You will also work to increase the availability of protective factors and support networks through encouraging and supporting participation in education and activities. This will include working with existing youth provision to develop and deliver session plan around healthy relationships, honour-based violence and safety planning to embed knowledge and skills within our young people.

We're a small, hard-working team with big ambitions, but we still make the time to support each other. You’ll be line-managed by me (Digital Communications Officer), and work alongside our Communications Manager Dave and Marketing and Communications Officer Harriet. You’ll be supported by our Fundraising and Communications Director, a supportive SLT and board of trustees, and work alongside six fantastic fundraising colleagues. This position is new for the charity, so there is lots of scope for you to carve out the role and make it your own. We’ll support you, so together we can become the charity that communication professionals want to work for: because of the impact we have on the lives of major trauma patients and their families, our inclusive culture, professional development opportunities and exceptional communications.

Purpose of the role
As the Board Secretary to the Board of Trustees, you will be responsible for administration support, diary management and meeting organisation of the Board and Board Committees including being responsible for the compiling and distribution of Board packs by co-ordinating input from relevant staff.
Administration support will include assistance with developing and recording annual workplans, minute-taking, action management and support with forward planning for meetings and key events. Develop and maintain annual workplans for the Board and Committees in conjunction with the Chair of Trustees, Committee Chairs, CEO and SLT to ensure agendas are structured and tasks are delivered and completed.

Set Board and Committee meeting dates in conjunction with the CEO and Chair and organise all meetings which may be in person, online or hybrid.

Produce Board and Committee meeting agendas in liaison with CEO and SLT, ensuring that committee and board workplans are adhered to, and action logs followed up in a timely manner.

Co-ordinate the collation of Board packs with input from SLT, the Governance Manager and other members of the Extended Leadership Team to support the agenda items.

At Cruse, we have recently launched our new strategy, setting out our charity’s plans to grow our income and build on our expertise and unique position in the sector. We provide expert bereavement and grief information and support, and our charity has been supporting people for over 65 years. We support adults, children and young people across England, Wales and Northern Ireland, through our national services, 84 local branches and online information about grief and bereavement.
You will lead the Community Fundraising and Individual Giving team to inspire support and donations from groups, organisations and individuals in local communities across England, Wales and Northern Ireland. You will oversee a range of activity across the Community fundraising team and manage a portfolio of relationships including Fundraising Champions (volunteers in branches) and key donors and supporters. You will review, inform and deliver activity to secure individual giving income and promote gifts in Wills, building our income from individuals including those who have received support from Cruse.
As part of the Income and Marketing/Communications Management Team, you will help shape plans to grow our income, raise awareness and increase engagement from volunteers and donors. Working with key colleagues in Services, Volunteering and Finance, and key volunteers, you will build our approach to Community and Individual Giving.
