The Peer Support Coordinator will play a critical role in the delivery of Day One's Peer Support Service. The primary objectives are to ensure a high-quality service is delivered to our beneficiaries; to develop our regional peer support model; and to facilitate a positive volunteering experience for our lived experience volunteer team. Responsibilities will include the day-to-day coordination of peer support activity. This will involve sensitive communication with trauma-affected individuals to understand their needs and preferences, using this information to facilitate suitable peer support matches.
The postholder will contribute to building a diverse volunteer team by supporting the volunteer recruitment and induction processes. They will offer ongoing support, guidance and motivation to our volunteers, ensuring meaningful opportunities to engage with Day One. The postholder will support the Peer Support Manger to conduct regular reviews with volunteers to gather feedback on their experiences as well as supporting their personal and professional development.
The Peer Support Co-ordinator will monitor service delivery and volunteer activity to ensure it is operating within agreed policies and processes. To ensure we can evidence the success and quality of the service, a key aspect of the role will involve keeping accurate records of interventions as well as collecting regular evaluation/impact data and personal case studies.
You will be a compassionate individual, dedicated to ensuring the highest quality of support for our beneficiaries and volunteers alike. You will be empathic with strong active listening skills, able to demonstrate sensitivity and discretion in your communication with trauma-affected individuals. You will support victims of domestic abuse within the Stockport Borough offering a person centred and trauma informed package of support and advocacy.
The role
In this role you will complete risk and needs assessments with victims of domestic abuse who live in the borough of Stockport. You will liaise with referring agencies, actively contribute to risk management procedures and team working. You will carry out a large and varied range of practical support which may include safety planning, advocacy, risk assessment and risk management. Due to the rapid expansion of Day One Trauma Support over the last three years, the charity’s infrastructure has needed to respond quickly to meet its changing demands. There is now a requirement to ensure that the Finance and Resources team has the right skill set and capacity to provide the support needed by the charity in an efficient and proactive way.
The HR Officer and Executive Assistant role is a newly created position to reflect both the growing HR needs of the charity as the workforce expands, and the executive support required by the CEO and Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to ensure the efficient and effective running of the charity. Who we are looking for?
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who has experience of working in the social housing sector and would like a new challenge. You should have Knowledge of Housing Law in relation to housing management and understand Welfare Benefits, especially Housing Benefit and the current climate of how supported housing is funded via Housing Benefit and the scrutiny around evidence of the support offer.
You will be the main lead for housing management in your patch. Experience of managing income recovery, neighbour nuisance/conflict and estate management is essential, ideally this has been within a supported housing context.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Income Recovery
- Monitoring of all Nacro rent accounts both current and former arrears and credit accounts in patch.
- Taking direct action where arrears are accruing in line with Nacro’s Income Collection and Debt Management Policy and liaising with Support or Housing Management Worker when their support is needed.
- Engaging with HB to ensure correct levels of HB are in payment for the right dates and at the correct level, liaising with Nacro Welfare Benefit Advisor for any complex cases.
Legal Duties
- Preparing documentation, including notices, witness statements and court documents for any enforcement or to end a tenancy.
- Representing Nacro at court.
Income recovery you will be responsible for recovery of accommodation charges from beginning to the end of the process.
Tenancy Support
- You will ensure the Association’s conditions of tenancy and licences are enforced.
- You will provide training and induction support to new starters, so they understand their role around housing management and tenancy creation including dual visits to provide additional training where issues are highlighted, or new staff need it.
- Supporting and advising on less complex anti-social behaviour to promote prevention and early intervention, and the correct recording and monitoring of cases.
Estate Management/Property Standards
- Though the Occupancy Sustainment Programme (or similar) deliver training to local teams’ duties on property standards including documentation and recording in systems, to include reporting a repair, completing monthly fire and health and safety checks and support they need to provide around gas compliance.
Support the team through training to help workers know how to access our policies and procedures around property standards including knowing how to report and escalate issues.

The Rape and Sexual Abuse Support Centre (Rape Crisis South London) is looking for a committed, professional and skilled Helpline Support worker to provide high quality emotional support, information and signposting in our Support Line team.
The 24/7 Rape and Sexual Abuse Support Line is a partnership between Rape Crisis England and Wales, the Rape and Sexual Abuse support Centre (RASASC - Rape Crisis South London) and two other Rape Crisis Centres (ARCH Teesside and Lincolnshire Rape Crisis). The post-holder for this role is employed by RASASC (Rape Crisis South London).
The post-holder will provide emotional support, information and signposting to survivors of any form of sexual violence, of any gender, aged 16 and upwards, and their supporters via phone calls and chats. Helpline Support Workers also provide support to colleagues and volunteers as part of their daily duties. Helpline Support workers have experience of either providing emotional support on a telephone helpline or experience providing support to survivors of sexual violence. You will also need to have good knowledge and understanding of the impact of sexual violence.

About the Team
Amongst other key systems, the ALM team supports two critical CRM solutions which underpin our engagement with both our clients and supporters. We’re also part of the Business Enablement team within Shelter’s Technology & Data (T&D) Department. T&D consists of 30+ people based across the country, with bases in London, Sheffield and Edinburgh and is accountable for developing and leading Shelter’s technology and data strategic priorities and providing a secure infrastructure. The management of data and insight to underpin strategic outcomes, delivery of technology change projects, data governance and provision of support for a range of software, systems and platform tools also fall under T&D’s remit.
About the role
Working as part of a team with a diverse portfolio of skills, as a Dynamics Support Analyst you’ll have plenty of opportunity to deepen your knowledge of our CRM systems, as well as expand into other areas. You’ll be the first point of contact for users seeking assistant with our CRM systems to ensure that they have a seamless experience with troubleshooting, problem resolution and system guidance.

About you

You’ll be proficient in Microsoft Dynamics CRM or similar CRM platforms as a system administrator or expert user. You’ll also need to be detail-oriented ,with a problem-solving mindset and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. As comfortable helping to generate regular reports as you are maintaining accurate documentation, prior experience in a customer support or helpdesk role is essential. - As a Senior Children’s Residential Support Worker, you will work as part of a residential childcare team providing support for the children and young people with their physical, emotional, and social needs with an emphasis on promoting their personal growth and independence.
- Working on your own initiative and as part of a team, you will be to preparing and assisting the children and young people to fulfil the aims of their person-centred plan.
- You will support the children and young people with communication and work closely in a team that has a passion to improve their lives whilst in our care.

About you….
We look for applicants who have the following skills.
- Completed the QCF level 3 / 4 in Children, young people, and family’s practitioner qualification or equivalent to be eligible to apply for this position. (This can also include NVQ Level 3 residential childcare or a Social Work Degree with childrens residential experiance, we cannot accept due to Ofsted requirements any general Health & Social Care qualifiction, or any other degree subject)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, a large part of this role you will be working with Social Workers and parents.
- Previous experience in keyworking with the young people that we support, including primary responsibility in complex cases and being able consider the feelings and the wishes of the young people that we support.
- Previous experience in shift leading, supervising team members in the absence of the Registered Manager / Assistant Manager, including contribution to assessment and appraisal of the team.
- Have a sound knowledge around the safeguarding of the young people that we support.
- A good standard of written English and IT skills would be essential, you will be writing reports and keeping record of the Children and Young Peoples progress.
- Transporting children / young people to an activity or school is a requirement. A driving licence that has been held for 12 months would be desirable.

Position: S11158 Stroke Association Support Coordinator
Location: Home-based, Worcestershire, however, extensive travel will be required as part of this role (may include team meetings or other work-related meetings)
Hours: Part-time, 24 hours per week
Salary: Circa £17,546 per annum (FTE circa £25,500 per annum)

The Role
Reporting to the Stroke Association Service Delivery Coach, the coordinator will work with the local Health and Social Care services to receive referrals and support stroke survivors and their carers. As a coordinator you will provide personalised information, advice and support with regular reviews throughout.
Key responsibilities will include:
· Working with the local Health and Social services to receive referrals to support stroke survivors and their carers
· Providing personalised information, advice and support to address any needs identified
· Completing Needs Assessments with stroke survivors and supporting them to develop a stroke recovery plan

About You
You will:
· Have a background in a caring and/or charity profession supporting people with disabilities
· Be able to demonstrate previous experience of working collaboratively with other organisations to achieve joint ambitions.
· Have experience of working with people who may have additional communication support needs
· Have the ability to use basic Microsoft system
