Role Summary
The Digital Officer ensures Bliss' digital operations run smoothly. Their main responsibilities include website maintenance, supporting staff with digital needs, and managing digital best practices for tracking, reporting, and content. They will also assist in key digital projects and lead smaller initiatives.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone to gain experience in a range of skills and expertise including website management, monitoring and evaluating website analytics and leading and supporting innovative digital projects across the organisation.

Role Details
The Digital Officer is responsible for maintaining Bliss’ website on a day-to-day basis making sure that the website’s functionality and content is of the highest standard and providing an excellent user experience.
You will use your digital skills and understanding to help edit, create and manage the Bliss website including regular monitoring through analytics.
You will work closely with the Digital Programme Lead on various digital projects will also work with different teams across the organisation to support their digital initiatives and needs.
The ideal candidate will ideally have experience of working in a digital or similar role, be able to work on their own initiative and have excellent understanding of user needs and creating digital content.
You’ll provide website training and support to colleagues across the organisation, as well as work with our digital agency on support requests and projects as and when required.
You will be motivated by an excellent understanding of the impact and reach that digital content can have, and be able to demonstrate the following:
- Experience working in a digital communications or digital marketing environment
- Significant experience in using a website CMS and a range of digital technologies
- Significant experience of creating online content that is accessible for all audiences
- An understanding of search engine optimisation and user experience best practice
- Excellent written and verbal communicator, able to translate technical information for colleagues who may be less technically knowledgeable
- A creative, proactive approach to finding digital solutions and solving technical issues
- Experience of Google Analytics and other methods of measuring digital performance to help improve activities
- Good knowledge of digital trends and ability and appetite to keep up to date with advances in these and apply to Bliss’ work
- Reliable and able to work on a variety of tasks and manage own time effectively

This is a newly created role within the team which will oversee acquisition and new product development.
You’ll be part of an exciting time at the charity, joining us as we roll out our new Fundraising strategy and continue investment in Acquisition. About the role
At Young Lives vs Cancer, we have our own unique role to play in reaching the North Star. We know our strengths and where we can have the most impact to best support children and young people with cancer. Within our new strategy ‘The Time is Now’ we set out four strategic ambitions, the first stating we will continue to be a major service delivery provider: offering high quality, impactful services. We are proud to lead the way in delivering high-level, psychosocial support and accommodation services throughout cancer treatment, end-of-life, and bereavement and we want to ensure our investment in this area is optimised to make sure we always provide the tailored support that children, young people and families need and that our services remain relevant.
You will be joining an established operational leadership team who are committed to continuous service improvement. Service Managers play a key leadership role in the management and development of a region, which is made up of three social work teams located alongside Principal Treatment Centres which are Leeds, Newcastle and Sheffield. Your responsibilities will include delivering service standards, and compliance. You will interface with NHS stakeholder colleagues to promote effective governance and multi-disciplinary relationships with a focus on smooth referral pathways. The team meets weekly to discuss management of the overall service-this effectively allows all team members to play an active role. In addition, to your designated region you will have a lead area of responsibility-this will be Deputy Safeguarding Lead. This role works closely with the Head of Safeguarding to ensure effective management of safeguarding across the charity as well as spanning workforce development and the promotion of best practice.

Over the past decade Pembroke House’s activities in Walworth have grown considerably, with annual turnover rising from £200k to £1 million. Further growth is expected as a result of a new strategy anchored around five 10-year commitments to the neighbourhood, consolidation of our activities across two community buildings and continuing to build wide-ranging partnerships in Walworth.
We are looking for an experienced and skilled financial professional who can steward us through this crucial period of development. You will be someone who combines a passion for our mission, a keen eye for detail and a flair for interpreting financial information and supporting non-specialists to make sound financial decisions.
Days will be varied spanning everything from helping budget holders report to funders; preparing accurate financial reports and management accounts; to creating the budgets and frameworks for long-term financial planning. The rest of the core finance team comprises a Bookkeeper and a pro bono Payroll Officer based in Pembroke College, Cambridge. Other members of the team manage petty cash, look after the room hire business (including invoicing and credit control) and administer pensions.
The trustee’s Finance and Risk Subcommittee formed two years ago and a new trustee position of Treasurer is currently being recruited. The Finance Manager will service and attend the subcommittee’s quarterly meetings and be the main contact point with the Treasurer between meetings.
As a new role there will be plenty of opportunity to mould finance operations across the organisation. Finance systems are currently in place, and have satisfied the auditor over the past few years, but there remains scope for improvement, including through automation and upskilling of the wider team.

The RCOphth provides education, support and professional development for ophthalmologists of all grades and across all of their roles. The RCOphth aims for all its audiences to be able to access the ophthalmology education they need, when and where they want it, and in the form most appropriate for the learner and the learning material.

- Strategically lead the fundraising and marketing campaigns of the UK office, with a focus on securing and retaining support from new audiences, predominantly focused on high value income streams.
- Develop and implement the long term fundraising strategy, balancing new business and retention whilst enabling the uplift of existing partners/donors.
- Provide inspirational leadership to a skilled team of reports, remaining operational where needed to ensure robust engagement and stewardship of supporters.
- Contribute to the overall development of the charity by raising the profile and increasing brand visibility in the UK.
- Lead the operational management of the UK office, ensuring compliance and best practice.
The role would best suit:
- An senior fundraiser with a demonstrable background in high value fundraising across major donor, trusts, family foundations and corporate partners.
- An individual with strong knowledge and understanding of the UK fundraising landscape, with the ability to identify new opportunities whilst deepening the engagement of existing supporters.
- A skilled people manager, able to effectively lead and small and developing team whilst also reporting to the board and collaborating closely with international peers and offices.
- Someone with the ability to straddle strategic and operational duties as needed, remaining close to donors/partners and effectively establishing and developing funder relationships.

We are currently looking for an experienced Head of Production to join our Production Department on a full time, permanent position.
The Head of Production will play a pivotal role in delivering our world-class events ranging from contemporary and classical music, theatre, dance and literature, and commercial events such as graduations, film premiers and conferences.
Working closely with the Director of Technical Production, the successful candidate will lead on production planning, refine processes, and champion knowledge sharing. You’ll empower our dedicated team to thrive in a fast-moving, creative environment, ensuring we’re not just delivering today’s programme, but developing a future-ready, energised production team.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead and develop production planning and processes, ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery across a diverse and ambitious programme.
- Support the strategic direction of the Production team, embedding innovation, flexibility and continuous improvement.
- Build a collaborative and empowered team culture through effective management and mentoring of Production Managers.
- Champion the use of systems and protocols that enable cross-departmental collaboration and operational efficiency.
- Ensure health & safety, sustainability and accessibility are integral to all production activity
Key Skills & Experience
- Proven leadership in production management across multi-artform venues or large-scale cultural programmes.
- Experience implementing successful production processes and managing change in a complex, creative environment.
- Excellent planning and communication skills with a commitment to knowledge sharing and team development.
- Strong understanding of health & safety, sustainability, and access in live performance settings.
- Comfortable managing diverse stakeholders, budgets, and systems (experience with Artifax 4 is a plus).
