Spotlight on Corruption is a small team with outsized impact that shines a light on the UK’s role in corruption at home and abroad.
We build the evidence base for reform through investigative research and extensive engagement with experts and frontline staff, and act as policy entrepreneurs, developing innovative and pragmatic solutions. We disseminate our work through hard-hitting reports and briefings for decision-makers and the general public and follow through with dogged advocacy to shape the narrative, as well as working in a highly collaborative manner to build consensus for reform.
The charity’s staff and budget has grown significantly in the last five years. In addition to this role, the current team consists of an Executive Director, Deputy Director, Senior Policy & Campaign Lead, Senior Advocacy Adviser, Senior Communications Advisor, and Senior Policy Researcher. We anticipate that a Senior Fundraiser and a Legal Researcher will join the team in the next few months.
What we are looking for
We are looking to recruit an experienced individual with a strong background in financial management, strategic planning and operational management, to play a central role within our small but dynamic team. The role involves helping the organisation implement our strategic plan and ensure our financial sustainability, as well as developing and overseeing the smooth running of our internal systems and processes, including our governance.
This is a busy and varied role which involves working closely with the Executive Director and other senior staff, leading on all aspects of financial management, governance and HR, line managing Spotlight’s senior fundraiser, and helping with operational delivery and administration.

Key responsibilities:
The Head of Finance and Operations will:

Ensure that senior management and the Board can make strategic decisions on budgeting and organisational development by providing strong advice on finance and governance

The Role:
The Fundraising & Events Officer will provide administrative assistance with grants and donor fundraising and the logistics for events. Working alongside the Development Manager and the Founding Director you will support identifying and managing donor opportunities, and the research and support of applications to Trusts and Foundations. It is a diverse and varied role and is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to build a solid foundation in fundraising and events.

Principal Accountabilities for the Core Job:
- Ensure all the necessary administration to support fundraising including recording all donations and potential contact information on Salesforce, thanking and reporting to all event attendees and donors.
- Assistance in the planning, setting up and logistics of all events including attending events as required (includes occasional out of office and out of hours commitments).
- Establish and maintain donor contacts on the database, and, with the Development Manager, coordinate donor communication and planning.

This is a pivotal new role which sits firmly on the Executive Leadership Team and oversees the strategic direction, financial accountability, and best practice of our portfolio of projects and programmes.
Managing a team of highly skilled Heads of programmes, you will be responsible for providing strategic oversight of 50+ practice-focused staff, for developing and implementing systems that support collaborative working, shared best practice, donor compliance, and robust communication.
The successful candidate will also collaborate with senior colleagues to help Respect implement its overall strategy to grow sustainably and realise the opportunities that the growth in interest in our work is bringing. To this end we are looking for an experienced senior leader with an extensive track record in leading multiple and complex workstreams while always being conscious of risk. Course structure and requirements
The National Curriculum for High Intensity Psychotherapeutic Counselling within NHS Talking Therapies for anxiety and depression outlines the full details of the course structure. To summarise, the following outlines the key training requirements:
· A 1-year core psychotherapeutic counselling foundation level training, which also introduces the chosen NHS Talking Therapies modality. Following sign off for readiness, trainees can begin to practice at West London Centre for Counselling with people with mild to moderate depression
· Followed by, a 2-year post-graduate diploma (PGDip) in psychotherapeutic counselling (minimum 120 credits at Level 7)
· A minimum of 450 supervised client hours gained within a NHS Talking Therapies service
· A minimum of 450 training hours (skills and theory)
· A minimum of 50 personal therapy hours
· A minimum of 90 minutes of training supervision to every six hours of client work (or the equivalent for group supervision), or 90 minutes per week if they have completed less than six hours of client work in the week
· NHS Talking Therapy services will be responsible for supervision on site, including oversight of case management, clinical governance and management supervision in line with the supervision requirements of the NHS Talking Therapies for anxiety and depression manual.
· An average of two to three days per week of clinical practice in NHS Talking Therapies services
· Individual accreditation (professional registration) with a professional body in line with the NHS Talking Therapies for anxiety and depression manual (see the manual for more details)

About the role
This is a new role created at IRMO to strengthen how we measure, understand and communicate our impact. It sits at the heart of a learning-focused, community-led organisation working for migrant rights and social justice. We are open to hiring at either Officer or Lead level, depending on the experience and skills of the successful candidate.
We’re looking for someone with strong experience in Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) who can take the lead in reviewing our current MEL systems and practices, identifying what’s working well and where there’s room for improvement. You’ll help embed more consistent, robust approaches to evidence and learning across the organisation, with the aim of improving the quality of our services and better demonstrating our impact to funders, partners and the community.
This is a 12-month fixed-term role, with the primary goal of strengthening our MEL systems, tools and capacity. There may be potential to extend the contract, depending on organisational needs and funding.
You’ll work closely with Programme Managers to ensure that data is collected, analysed and used in ways that are meaningful and accessible — not only to meet funder requirements, but to improve how we work and support our community. You’ll also support reporting processes and help build capacity across the team around MEL tools and approaches.
