The Role
We are looking for a Trust Fundraiser to maximise the charity’s income through the development and delivery of a trust and foundations strategy and pipeline, and by building meaningful and sustainable relationships with new and existing funders. Duties will include:
- Actively researching new funding opportunities and prospects for trust and grants fundraising
- Writing effective fundraising applications and reports for trust and statutory funders
- Maintaining up-to-date pipelines and communications schedules of warm donors, lapsed donors and prospect research, ensuring all opportunities are fully maximised
- Writing donor impact reports that fulfil all donor requirements and demonstrate relevant outcomes
- Supporting the wider team by attending charity events, contributing to the social media schedule and updating the charity website.
The Person

With around 100 staff globally, the interim Finance Director will manage a diverse team of finance professionals. Your role will include setting and managing budgets, supporting fundraising strategy and proposals, overseeing spend and financial controls and processes. You will lead the finance team in Ghana made up of a Junior Finance Manager, four Finance Officers, two bookkeepers and a Procurement and Logistics Officer. You will also manage the Uganda Finance Officer, and Global Finance Manager based in the UK.
The role will involve a mixture of hands-on accounting, complex donor reporting, consolidated and year-end accounts, budgeting, forecasting, scenario planning and financial modelling. Xero is used across the organisation, and financial year-end is December.
Duties include:
· Contribute to the development and implementation of the organisation’s scale and income-generation strategy, including exciting new opportunities for potential expansion to the southern regions in Ghana and exploring implementation of the programme in a new country.
· Develop and strengthen robust and flexible cost models (including sensitivity analyses/stress testing) to guide decisions around the pace and rate of scale, staffing & resource requirements, ensure value for money and maximise cost efficiencies.
· Develop robust budgets for new and renewal funder applications, considering complexities around funder restrictions, currency exchange and forecast economic conditions.

Learn with England’s largest professional development provider
We are England’s largest professional development provider for teachers and school leaders. In 2024/25 1 in 10 teachers and leaders in state-funded schools currently developing professionally with Ambition. When your programme is complete, you also have the option to progress your career further and move on to our two-year training for Early Career Teachers, which will help you develop your expertise.
Train in school: You’ll do most of your training in one school. This gives you immediate opportunities to put the theory you’ve learned into practice in a classroom, supported by teaching experts.

Eligibility:
To be eligible, you will need:
· An undergraduate bachelor's degree with honours, or equivalent.
· A GCSE grade 4/C or above in English and maths, or equivalent.
· Primary school trainees will need a GCSE grade 4/C or above in science, or equivalent
· By the start of the training, successful candidates must have permission to work in the UK full-time for the duration of the programme.

Tuition fees:
All trainees will need to pay tuition fees unless you are a salaried trainee - salaried places are limited. Tuition fees are £9,535 for full-time study and £7,145 per year for part-time study. If you are eligible for a student loan in the UK, you can get a student loan to cover these costs, as well as a maintenance grant up to £13,762.
If you want to train as a secondary trainee teacher, you may be able to apply for funding to cover the costs of your tuition fees through a bursary or scholarship, which you would not need to pay back.
Funding:
We offer a few salaried placements, but if you do not choose a salaried teacher training course, and depending on your subject choice, you may be eligible to receive funding through a bursary or a scholarship up to £31,000, which you do not have to pay back. - Interview: Our friendly team at Ambition Institute will assess your application and if you are eligible, will pass your application to your preferred school partner. You will then be invited to attend an interview. The interview will involve five questions and one task.

What’s your mission?
Ada is seeking a dynamic and proactive Apprenticeship Partnerships Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in establishing and maintaining partnerships with employers to support the growth and success of our apprenticeship programmes.
Driving New Business Growth:
● Proactively identify and nurture new employer partnership opportunities through focused desk research and strategic, targeted outreach.
● Use labor market intelligence, industry reports, and competitor analysis to build a qualified list of priority prospects across key sectors.
● Map organisational structures to pinpoint and engage relevant decision-makers, tailoring outreach to maximize response rates.
● Generate and qualify high-potential leads, booking high-quality appointments that enable the partnerships team to drive employer conversion.
● Consistently contribute to a strong and sustainable pipeline, helping to increase overall conversion rates from prospect to active employer partner.
Promotional Activities:

We have an exciting opportunity for a role based within our London MARAC Team, that requires knowledge and experience working within the domestic abuse sector, as well as strong administrative, interpersonal and stakeholder liaison skills.
Multi Agency Risk Assessment Conferences are regular meetings where information is shared by a variety of key organisations both statutory and non-statutory on the highest risk domestic abuse cases in order to create safety/action plans that help reduce and manage risk to victim/ survivors.
This position will require you to work closely with the MARAC Head of Service, MARAC Team, MARAC Chair and partner agencies to ensure referral thresholds are met, meetings are well organised, effectively coordinated, and accurate recordings of the meetings are taken and distributed following planned delivery requirements.
We are looking for a highly organised individual with the passion to make a difference, you will need proficient I.T. skills particularly in Word, Excel and case recording data base systems.
