About The Role

We have the opportunity for a Learning and Development Specialist (Safeguarding) to join our team and help to support a strong safeguarding culture within RBL, ensuring protection for beneficiaries and maintaining RBL's reputation. This exciting, newly created position will design and deliver learning to promote a person-centred approach in safeguarding and casework.

Reporting to our Learning and Development Manager, with cross function reporting to our Head of Safeguarding and Director of Casework, this key post will be focused on enabling staff, members, and volunteers to adhere to safeguarding regulatory requirements in the UK and overseas.

Responsible for the development and maintenance of all safeguarding learning material, key responsibilities will include:

- Online awareness training for staff, volunteers, and members on safeguarding adults and children, covering UK devolved administrations and RBL’s overseas welfare work
- Integrated safeguarding and casework training for range of staff, volunteers, members and stakeholders
- Working with Heads of Departments across all directorates to deliver SME-specific training both virtual and in-person
- Conducting research to support the planning and delivery of safeguarding training
- Evaluating case reviews and trends analysis, to inform training

This role requires regular travel and overnight stays across the UK (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland) to deliver learning interventions to meet the needs of colleagues. The expectation is twice-three times a week on average and there is also a requirement to attend Haig House once a month for team meetings and to build relationships with colleagues outside of delivering training.

You will be contracted to your home address, where you will be expected to work – using our collaboration tools – when not travelling.

The Stories Officer sits in the Marketing and Communications team and will focus on:

· Assist in managing storytelling requests from across RNID, providing vital support and crafting impactful and compelling narratives.

· You’ll be gathering and shaping powerful authentic stories that highlight the impact of RNID’s work, supporting RNID’s strategic goals.

· When you join us, you’ll dive straight into important campaigns like our Protect Your Hearing Campaign, helping to craft meaningful stories. You might find yourself out on location, capturing powerful stories firsthand from our amazing storytellers or coordinating a photo shoot featuring one of our celebrity supporters.

As Stories Officer, you will:

· Work closely with the Stories & Celebrity Manager, identify, interview, and write-up case study stories from people who are deaf, have hearing loss, or tinnitus to support RNID’s campaigns, media, and fundraising efforts.

· Manage and update our centralised database of case studies, celebrities, and influencers, ensuring all stories across the charity are recorded for effective stewardship. Maintain storyteller profiles, contact details, permissions, and consent forms while ensuring GDPR compliance in data collection and storage.

· Collaborate with PR, fundraising, digital, and campaigning teams to integrate storytelling into their work, identify their needs, and match case studies or celebrities to relevant projects.

· Support the development and delivery of storytelling content across multiple platforms, including social media, website, press, and marketing materials, ensuring content meets accessibility standards.

· Manage multiple internal and external storyteller requests.

We are looking for an individual with a passion for storytelling and a deep commitment to amplifying the voices of people who are deaf, have hearing loss or tinnitus.

You will have excellent writing skills, with experience in journalism, PR, or a similar field, and a strong ability to craft compelling narratives that engage and inspire. Your interviewing skills will be key, as you’ll need to connect with people from diverse backgrounds, ensuring they feel comfortable and confident sharing their stories.

Sensitivity and empathy will be essential as you capture authentic, impactful stories. In addition, you’ll be an exceptional multitasker, able to manage multiple storytelling requests and competing priorities with ease. Your proactive and creative approach will drive you to consistently find new ways to tell powerful stories that align with the charity’s mission and strategic goals.

You will act as the first point of contact for members of the public, taking and triaging enquiries, preparing responses, and referring more complex cases to our network of trained planning volunteers. Your work will directly help people understand and navigate the planning system in Wales.

Covering the operational, strategic and delivery of work across the Eastern region we are looking for a Project Development Co-ordinator to operate across the counties of Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk. Travel within and occasionally outside these regions will be a necessity.

This post provides an exciting and rewarding opportunity to supervise, deliver and lead on our stakeholder and community engagement to support the delivery of NEA’s work programme.  The role will help deliver projects that can change lives, particularly during the energy crisis. 

NEA’s project work aims to bring improvements to the health and wellbeing of low income and vulnerable householders, through one-to-one advice, group awareness sessions, upskilling and sharing of best practice. 

Delivering on a range or projects, which demonstrate good practice in delivery of affordable warmth for low income and vulnerable householders, you will understand and drive the development of partnerships working with local authorities, housing providers, and various other partners.

You will oversee the delivery of project outputs and outcomes, delivering energy and fuel debt advice directly to householders and be responsible for the preparation of reports to funders including collation of evidence of outcomes achieved, maintaining relationships with a network of stakeholders across a region.

You will also work with the Project Development Manager to identify and develop new programmes of work, including preparation of funding applications, presentation of funding proposals to relevant funding bodies and to ensure effective liaison of NEA’s work programme with other activities within NEA.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

You will have demonstrable experience of developing and/or managing projects in the fields of energy efficiency, community development and regeneration, housing, social policy or consumer issues.

It is important that you have an awareness of the environmental, social and economic problems of deprived areas and the roles of the public, private and voluntary sectors in tackling them. 

You will need good organisational skills, as well as excellent written and communication skills, as you will maintain appropriate records and data, and produce regular written reports on project progress. 

You will be an excellent communicator, with experience and understanding of how to effectively address the energy needs of low income, vulnerable or disadvantaged householders - with the desire to make a positive difference to people’s lives.

Knowledge of energy efficiency, particularly within the domestic sector and community buildings, is desirable.

About: All Ways Network (AWN) is a second-tier support organisation dedicated to empowering charities/not-for-profits (NFPs) that work with Muslim communities across the UK to become more fundable. Position Overview: The Funder & Engagement Officer will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between funders and the charities we support. This position is responsible for enhancing funding awareness, establishing and nurturing strategic partnerships, and providing comprehensive support to our network of organisations. As this is a new position at AWN, we encourage applications from individuals who are confident in navigating new ground and keen to help define the role’s impact.

Key Responsibilities: 

Fundraising Support: 

• Provide personalised consultations to charities/NFPs we work with to develop and refine their grants and trusts strategies. 

• Assist charities in identifying funding opportunities and preparing compelling grant applications. 

• Organise and conduct workshops and training sessions on fundraising best practices, funder engagement, monitoring and evaluation, and grant writing. 

Relationship Building: 

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with a diverse range of grant funders 

• Facilitate strategic partnerships between member charities, infrastructure groups, and funders. 

• Represent AWN at relevant networking events, conferences, and meetings to promote the interests of our member organisations.

Resource Development: 

• Create and disseminate practical resources, toolkits, and guides to support charities. 

• Develop materials that highlight successful case studies and best practices within the sector. 

Monitoring and Evaluation: 

• Implement a robust monitoring and evaluation framework to assess the effectiveness of fundraising efforts and support provided. 

• Collect and analyse data to track progress and make informed recommendations for improvement. 

Communication and Reporting: 

• Prepare regular reports on activities, outcomes, and impacts for internal and external stakeholders. 

• Maintain clear and consistent communication with a network of service users/charities to ensure their needs are met and feedback is integrated.

Qualifications and Experience: 

• At least 3-5 years of experience in fundraising, grant management or not-for-profit management. 

• Proven track record or strong knowledge of successful grant writing and fundraising initiatives. 

• Strong understanding of the funding landscape and the unique challenges faced by charities serving Muslim communities. 

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders. 

• Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver effective training and capacity-building programs. 

• Proficiency in using digital tools for remote work and virtual collaboration. 

• Commitment to AWN’s mission and values, with a proactive and results-oriented approach. 

• Excellent written skills. 

• Comfortable in public speaking. 

• Proactive in creating and developing this role. Can confidently work independently. 

• Ideally the person should live in or the surrounding areas of London. We currently don't have an office space but we are forming a London team.

About Pathfinders Neuromuscular Alliance

Pathfinders is a user-led charity run by and for people living with muscle-weakening conditions. We support disabled people and those who employ personal assistants (PAs) through peer support, information, training, and advocacy. We believe in the power of lived experience and centre disabled voices in everything we do.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly organised and motivated Project Coordinator to lead the delivery of an exciting new learning and development project for individual employers and personal assistants. The project will support people who employ PAs through direct payments and their PAs to develop the knowledge and skills they need through videos, peer-led training, discussion sessions, and case studies.

You will oversee the planning, coordination and delivery of the project, ensuring activities run smoothly, are well-attended, and meet the needs of learners. You’ll work closely with people with lived experience of employing PAs, guest speakers, partner organisations, and the wider Pathfinders team to deliver high-quality, accessible training and resources.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the delivery of the training project, including scheduling and facilitating sessions, managing communications, and tracking progress against objectives.

• Work with Pathfinders staff, guest speakers and people with lived experience to produce a series of bite-sized training videos for PAs and employers.

• Organise and support delivery of:

  • Fortnightly peer-learning sessions for PA employers

  • Monthly case study sessions for PAs

  • Monthly “Train the Trainer” classes for employers

• Engage and support participants, including managing bookings, sending reminders, and providing follow-up information.

• Promote the project in collaboration with our communications team and external partners, including disability charities, PA networks, and local authorities.

• Gather feedback, measure impact and contribute to reporting for the funder.

• Support participants to access additional training opportunities (e.g. SfC resources, the Individual Employer Fund, local training).

• Ensure accessibility and inclusion are embedded in all activities.

Person Specification

Essential:

• Strong project coordination skills and the ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously

• Excellent communication and people skills – confident talking to diverse audiences including disabled people, PAs, professionals and partner organisations

• A clear understanding of the challenges and responsibilities of employing personal assistants

• Good digital skills and confidence using online platforms like Zoom, Google Drive, Microsoft Office and social media

• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively and meet deadlines

• Committed to inclusion, accessibility and user-led values

Desirable:

• Lived experience of employing PAs or supporting someone who does

• Experience creating or coordinating learning content or training sessions

About the role:

Respect is seeking two Helplines Team Leaders. You will be the main point of contact for the team of Advisors and provide line management support along with other focused meetings that guide their work with service users.

You will manage concerns raised by Advisors and make decisions on safety actions, and deal with complaints. You will oversee the implementation of a rota system that maximises resource capacity at peak call times to meet high demands. Work collaboratively with partner agencies that deliver programmes of support for both male victims and perpetrators, and set up signposting and referral processes that supports our work.

About you:

• At least two years’ experience of working on complex cases in a multi-agency environment and working with other professionals/agency to manage risk and safeguard vulnerable adults and children 
• An understanding of the root causes of domestic abuse, both individually and societal, and its effects on victims, in particular male victims 
• An understanding of the help-seeking barriers for male victims of domestic abuse 
• Ability to lead a team using motivational strategies that inspire and create a positive working atmosphere
• A commitment to anti-discriminatory practice and an approach that centres survivors, in particular Black and minoritised survivors.

Our partner, an international charity, is looking to recruit an experienced analyst with a background in finance business partnering. The successful candidate will be joining the organisation during an interesting period, and be curious, with a strong analytical mind and ability to interpret financial information, and be articulate. 

Responsibilities

• Ensure that there is a sound understanding of business areas in terms of both present as well as forecasted performance.
• Work with budget holders on the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring that any advice/support in understanding the numbers is provided in a timely manner, and that they and senior management are supported in their decision making.
• Lead on the preparation of the quarterly forecasts.
• Undertake budgetary versus actual expenditure analysis, providing reports and meaningful information to budget holders and senior finance team members.
• Support in developing project budgets on a full cost recovery basis, and in the preparation of donor report.
• Support in undertaking grant reconciliations.
• Offer coaching and training as required.

Requirements

• Experienced finance professional, highly numerate and analytical, able to understand the business and strategic outlook of the organisation, able to interpret financial information and communicate this clearly and precisely.
• Experience in developing budgets & forecasts, and undertaking and presenting analysis, both in writing and verbally.
• Strong communication and finance business partnering skills – able to accurately and precisely communicate important financial information to non-finance budget holders, and senior management staff, challenge numbers and support in sound decision making.
• Experience of working in an international organisation, in a multi-currency environment, and with colleagues based globally.
• Experience in the financial management of grants, including developing budgets for proposals (on a full cost recovery basis), and reporting for donors is strongly desirable.

About the role

As a Finance Business Partner, you will have responsibility for the leading the annual budget setting process for the organisation – circa. £8m.

You'll report to to the CEO, Executive Team (ET), and with the Finance and Commercial Director (FCD) support the preparation of papers for the Board on the numbers, with narrative, detail and analysis where appropriate.

The role will not line manage but will be expected to coach, mentor, collaborate with and contribute to the development of the other members of the finance team - we are, all of us, internal customer facing.

As Finance Business Partner, you will be responsible for supporting budget holders to produce robust forecasts for the Management Accounts and to produce monthly Management Accounts with the Finance Manager.
